To know all about MDU 2024 Application Form, you can go through below provided section:

• For various PG courses, the online registration has been started .
• Candidates can apply via online mode on the website of university.
• Students must fill single application forms to apply for course in which they want admission.
• After filling the form completely, go through each filled detail. No changes will be allowed after the form has been submitted online.
• No student will be allowed to upload the supporting documents after the last date prescribed by the authority.
• Last date to submit application forms will be till June 2024 .

Application Fee:

• MDU Application fee is Rs.1000 /- for General applicants.
• For ST/ SC/ DSC/ BC/ differently abled candidates of Haryana only, fee is Rs.250/- .
• Other state candidates are treated as general candidates.
• For each additional program applied by candidate fee of Rs.200/- will be charged. Rs.50/- for ST/ SC/ DSC/ BC/ differently abled candidates of Haryana only.

Payment mode: The application fee can be submitted by applicants online through debit card/ net banking method.

How to Apply for MDU Admission 2024

• Click on the option provided as – ‘New Registration.’
• Register by providing details such as name, DOB, email id, etc.
• Now your login details – User Id and password will be generated after submission of these details.
• Now login and start filling other details in the application form.
• Enter your personal, qualification, communicational, course, etc.
• Confirm all the details after final confirmation of filled details.
• Upload the scanned images of photograph, signature, documents as per the specified format and size.
• Now pay application fee using the provided payment options such as debit card/ credit card, net banking, etc.
• After successful submission of application fee, print the application form and keep it safe for future references.

• Applying candidate must have passed 12 th level or its equivalent from a board/ university recognised by M.D University Rohtak or its equivalent.
• Students in the qualifying exam must have obtained 45% marks (42.75% marks for ST/ SC/ Blind/ Visually and Differently Abled candidates of Haryana only).
• Selection: Selection for B.Tech admission in MDU will be done based on JEE Main/ HSTES/ HSTES LEET scores.
• Qualification: Students should have passed 12 th or its equivalent with minimum of 45% marks (42.75% marks for ST/ SC/ Blind/ Visually and Differently Abled candidates of Haryana only) from Board of School Education Haryana or any other board recognised by M.D University Rohtak.
• Selection: Students selection for admission in MDU will be done based on their scores obtained in entrance test.

For MBA (5 year Integrated):

• Qualification: Students should have passed 12 th or its equivalent with minimum of 50% marks (47.5% marks for ST/ SC/ Blind/ Visually and Differently Abled candidates of Haryana only) from any board recognised by M.D University Rohtak or its equivalent.

For MBA (Hons/ General):

• Qualification: Students should have Bachelors’ degree/PG degree in any discipline with minimum of 50% marks (47.5% marks for ST/ SC/ Blind/ Visually and Differently Abled candidates of Haryana only) from any board recognised by M.D University Rohtak or its equivalent.

MDU 2024 Admission Procedure

MDU Admission Procedure 2024 will begin with the start of online registration process. Students have to appear for the entrance test conducted by the university for admission in certain courses.

The university also provides admission in certain UG/ PG courses based on the merit scores of their qualifying degree/ exam. For B.Tech admissions, students must have JEE or HSTES/ HSTES LEET scores. Whereas, for admission in MBA, the university will organise entrance exam which the students must qualify to get admission.

MDU 2024 Entrance Test

Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU) will conduct entrance tests for admission into various courses separately. Complete schedule, timing and pattern/ syllabus will be explained on the exam notice released by the university. The entrance exams will be conducted in 3 rd – 4 th week of June 2024.

For MBA (2 years) course, the entrance exam will have 100 MCQs and will be of total 100 marks. Test duration will be 75 minutes. Questions will be divided into 4 sections – English Language Comprehension, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation and General Awareness. Also, the Group Discussion and Personal Interview will be conducted which will be of 10 marks each.

MDU 2024 Result/ Merit List

After few days of entrance test, the result/ merit lists will be published on the website. Merit list will be made available online in the first week of July 2024. The merit list/ result released will mention the students name, form number, category, roll number and their marks.

Students can access the results in the form of PDF. Further, the schedule of physical counselling will be also provided in the merit list.

MDU Admission 2024 Counselling

MDU Counselling 2024 procedure will begin few days after the result declaration. Only the candidates selected in the merit list published by authority will be able to register for counselling. It will begin in the month of July 2024 .

Seats will be allotted to students based on their choices filled during the physical counselling process. Students are required to report at the counselling venues/ institutions physically with their documents for the verification process.

Eligibility Criteria for MDU Rohtak PhD Admission 2023-24

• A 1-year/2-semester master’s degree program after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor‘s degree program or a 2-year/4-semester master‘s degree program after a 3-year bachelor‘s degree program or qualifications declared equivalent to the master‘s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed or equivalent qualification from a foreign educational institution accredited by an assessment and accreditation agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country to assess, accredit or assure quality and standards of the educational institution.
• Provided that a candidate seeking admission after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor‘s degree program should have a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed.
• A relaxation of 5% of 55% marks (2.75%) i.e. from 55% to 52.25% or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC/BC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates of the Haryana State only.
• Candidates who have completed the M.Phil. program with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed or equivalent qualification from a foreign educational institution accredited by an assessment and accreditation agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country to assess, accredit or assure quality and standards of educational institutions, shall be eligible for admission to the Ph.D. program. A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC/BC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and other categories of candidates of the Haryana State only.

MDU Rohtak PhD Admission 2023-24 Application Process

• Eligible Candidates have to apply online.
• Read information brochure carefully before applying.
• All relevant documents i.e., marksheet of qualifying examination, proof of age and other documents should be uploaded by the candidate along with online application form.
• A Candidate may apply for admission to as many programs as he/she wants. Separate application form for admission to each additional program shall be required to be filled after paying Rs. 200/- (Rs. 50/- for SC/BC candidates of Haryana only) per program.

Admission to Ph.D. program shall be made in the following manner:

• Admission of Research Fellowship/Scholarship holders and NET qualified candidates based on an interview.
• Through Entrance Test for seats remaining vacant after admission of research fellowship/Scholarship holders and NET qualified candidates

Admission of Research Fellowship/Scholarship holders and NET qualified candidates

• UGC-NET/UGC-CSIR NET/GATE/GPAT/CEED and similar National level tests eligible for fellowship/Scholarship
• UGC-NET/UGC-CSIR NET/ICAR-NET qualified candidates
• For a single seat, six candidates and for each additional seat subsequently three candidates in the order of merit will be called for interview. If the total number of candidates applied for a single seat is more than six and for two seats is more than nine and so on, then the following short-listing criteria shall be applied.

Criteria for Preparing Merit List:

i) Undergraduate Examination (Weightage: 10 Marks)

ii) Postgraduate Examination (Weightage: 20 Marks)

Shortlisted candidates will be given admission to Ph.D. program based on their performance in the interview by the interview board.

At the time of interview, the candidates are required to discuss their research interest/area through a presentation before a duly constituted Committee.

The interview shall also consider the following aspects:

• a. the candidate possesses the competence for the proposed research
• b. the research work can be suitably undertaken at the University
• c. the proposed area of research can contribute to new/additional knowledge.

The interview shall be of 30 Marks (10 marks for domain knowledge, 5 Marks for Research Proposal (Annexure B), 10 marks for research aptitude and 5 marks for research accomplishment). Only the candidate who secures a minimum of 50% marks in the interview is eligible for Ph.D. admission in the order of merit.

MDU PhD Entrance Test Details

FOR ADMISSION AGAINST VACANT Ph.D. SEATS IF ANY

• The seats remaining vacant after the admission of candidates (Research Fellowship/Scholarship holders and NET qualified candidates) in a preferential order mentioned above (Procedure A) if any, then an entrance test will be conducted to fill up the vacant seats. The syllabus of the Entrance Test shall be as prescribed for NET by UGC/CSIR/ICAR etc. In case NET examination is not available for any subject, the syllabus for the entrance test will be decided by the concerned University Teaching Department through the Departmental Committee.
• Entrance Test will be of 100 marks and a candidate must secure 50% marks to qualify the same. In case of SC/ST / Differently-abled candidates of Haryana State, a relaxation of 5% of 50 i.e. 2.5% will be allowed. There will be no negative marking.
• For the selection of candidates based on the entrance test a weightage of 70 % for the entrance test and 30 % for the performance in the interview/viva- voce shall be given.
• For a single seat, six candidates and for each additional seat subsequently three candidates in the order of merit will be called for interview.

Designed & Developed By:  Meet The Team Maharshi Dayanand University, ab initio established as Rohtak University, Rohtak, came into existence by an Act No. 25 of 1975 of the Haryana Legislative Assembly in 1976 with the objective to promote inter-disciplinary higher education and research in the fields of environmental, ecological and life sciences. It was rechristened as Maharshi Dayanand University in 1977 after the name of a great visionary and social reformer, Maharshi Dayanand. It had a unitary and residential character in its nascent stage, but became an affiliating University in November 1978. The University secured the recognition of University Grants Commission – the higher education regulatory body of India - for central Govt. grants in 16 Mar, 1979.   The University is located at Rohtak in the state of Haryana - about 75 kms from Delhi on Delhi-Hisar National Highway (NH-10), and is about 240 kms from Chandigarh, the State Capital. It is well connected both by rail as well as road. Rohtak is the education hub of the State with excellent facilities for education in all fields of knowledge.   The University campus, spreadover an area of 622 acres, is well laid with state-of-the-art buildings and magnificent road network, presents a spectacle of harmony in architecture and natural beauty. Educational and research programmes are offered through its 38 departments. Some faculties are really disgusting but not for all. Yes definitely it was Hostel mess food I think nobody like meee food and it's common thing in all colleges. I want to take addmission in YMCA FRIDABAD. but unfortunately due to covid time the entrance exam of lateral entry in btech is stopped by government. So due to less marks in Polytechnic I had to take admission in this college. It's a no loss no profit journey. Faculty is great they are from NITs mostly. Infrastructure is unbeatable as most of the univiis covered with greenery with due cares properly. Even availability of everything is there in campus and hostel complexes. Guidance the teachers provide is great as there academics are too great. They all are highly qualified. Even help us in other engagements also related other than college Hostel facility is somehow needs improvement the internal of rooms need to renovate even washrooms are so bad. Don't have proper cleaning. Water issue sometimes that becomes every hectic to bear. The classes infrastructure is somehow needs to improve in the aspects of comfort need atleast fast fans or AC in rooms for students. Seriously saying, I got 91.4% a quite good score in my ln my academics but, I didn't prepare well for IIT or NIT. And I have a chance of going to Dcrust or YMCA but due to lack of awareness and information guidance I didn't able to go there and end up taking admission here. Know when I look back it feels both feeling of should I try those, or was it better I can here. And never got any answer as everything happens is great always. THE HONEST REVIEW I just took admission here because i missed the ipu exam, and also i didn't wanted to go for btech and the du cutoff was high as always.i didn't wanted to waste my time or take a drop year . otherwise i strongly recommend to not take admission if you think a drop year is bad or your time will be wasted if you took one year drop there are way more better option than this mdu affiliated bca course. College Life Teachers are goods classes held regularly Social interaction is also good environment is fine There is no placement after completing graduation The college infrastructure needs to be improved The Addmission process is simple there is no entrance exam you just have to signup online and choose your courses online complete the documentation then a cut off list will come and if you are selected then just pay the fee Lifestyle and facilities of mdu I liked the building, faculty ,parks in university There are many supporting teachears in departments There are many dogs wandering in the campus Security guards are very rude and non supportive to students For getting admission in bca in mdu you should be 12 pass and there is entrance exam for bca in mdu after that there is a counseling for admission . Teachers can sometimes take a leave from class due to university different matters The Admission is done Using JEE Mains Entrance Exam and the Approximate percentile for a general student to get A CSE Branch is maybe more than 85 percentile in JEE Mains. JEE Mains happens 2 times a year. dpg degree college things i liked is discipline and timings of colleges good quality teachers well qualified as per the course environment of students is the thing i disliked the road to college is quite dusty and poorly developed course reuires 60% in 12th exam there were interview rounds there were reservation benefits as well but being general i did not get any exams are not very hard average student can clear easily without any hesitation College life College faculty members are very helpful and good teachers College infrastructure is very good and nice Don't have parking facility for cars .it creates a lot of problems Drinking facilities is also not good.doesnt have water sometimes in summer Admission process was simple.we have to just fill the form on department of High education site. Then after that merit list is made on the basis of 12th percentage.then we have to submit fees. After that document verification is done in college by the teacher. Why choose Mdu? I like the environment of my department everyone is so helpful especially seniors. They treated us like little brother and help us with everything for example in studies , financially and many more From above mentioned instance you can tell how everyone is so supportive and kind. It's good healthy relationship which you can find in law department of mdu University provide student with book store but they don't have books for every subject so you have to go to medical road which is around 4-5km from University. Which make a little issue but it's not that big of a issue. Whenever admission opens one can apply for any course on the official site of MDU. Then he can pay a fee for admission and then MDU conducts a test which is different for every course. For law, we have to learn normal gs, history, geography, economics, political science, and maths. It's not hard and we can compare it with the 12th class board. There will be no negative marking so students can attempt all questions if they want then they declare the results and conduct counseling. Passing marks may vary according to how top students score. You can get help from the category as well. They have reservations for every category and it may differ from course to course.
