500+ words essay on india of my dreams.

All of us love our country and have a strong attachment to this ancient land of ours. We want to see a prosperous and happy India. Each one of us has a dream of how India should develop and progress. Just as Jawaharlal Nehru, our first Prime Minister had said at the time of independence that he had to solve 300 million problems (the population of India at that time); similarly, each one of us may have thought about the “India of my dreams”. The Father of our Nation, Mahatma Gandhi also expressed his thoughts on this topic. Now, their thoughts are published in the form of a book named “India of my Dreams”. Here, we have provided an Essay on India of My Dreams which is a sample essay. Students can take ideas from this essay and then write an Essay on India of their dreams by putting their own thoughts into words.

India of My Dreams

The India of my dreams will be a place full of peace and harmony. People will be filled with compassion, happiness and enthusiasm. I see an India where each individual will have a strong value system, where all human beings are equal. Everyone will have his or her role in the governance of the country directly as well as indirectly. I dream of an India which has people who are self-contained, self-reliant communities with truthful and transparent lives with good health, education and lives.

I dream of India as a country where everyone has access to education. There are children who belong to poor families and cannot afford education because of the costs of education. For such children, education should be provided freely. Moreover, education should be provided irrespective of gender discrimination. The girl child should be given equal opportunities similar to the boy child.

Women Empowerment

The India of my dreams includes women who are respected everywhere. They have power and rights equal to men. They are treated as an extremely important member of the family where they can take decisions and have financial independence. They must get a safe environment where they don’t have to worry about crimes such as rape, physical assault, kidnapping, acid attack, domestic violence, dowry system, sexual harassment at the workplace, etc. They must feel safe and protected so that they can utilise their full potential and energy in the right direction. This would enable them to showcase their talent and thus contribute to the development of the nation.

Corruption-Free India

Corruption is the biggest hurdle in the path of the development of our country. If our government and political system become corruption-free, then our country will develop fast. The bribery system will come to an end and all bureaucrats will function with integrity and accountability. Every government servant will take responsibility for their work. So, the India of my dream will be corruption free.

Employment Opportunities

Creating employment opportunities for youth is one of the key factors that contribute to the development of a nation. India which I dream of should have enormous opportunities for youth so they can be easily employed. There should be jobs in every sector so that one can work in the area of his/her interest. In this way, India will reach great heights.

Clean, Green and Pollution-Free Environment

The India of my dreams will be clean, green and healthy for everyone. People will enjoy the greenery, fresh air and pollution-free environment. The highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene will be maintained in the India of my dreams. Citizens will actively participate in making India clean so everyone gets a healthy environment.

This is my India — a great country, a land of peace, prosperity and truthfulness where no one is afraid of speaking the truth and where there is no corruption. It will be a country where women are respected and people from all religions coexist and where every citizen is proud to be an Indian. It will be a country free from violence, terrorism, hunger and suffering.

Essay on India of My Dreams

Everyone has dreams to make his/her country big and democratically successful. A country where there is equality in all areas, and for all genders, it witnesses progress. Like others, I also have a dream for my India and the way it should be, so I can be proud to live and the coming generation too. Furthermore, a country where there is no discrimination of caste, color, gender, and economic status, sees development in a true sense. People in such countries also progress well in all senses.

Descriptive Essay India of My Dreams

The India of my dreams would be a country that is entirely self-sufficient in all areas. I want India to be technologically advanced, agriculturally advanced as well as scientifically better. Every barren land in the country, which has not witnessed crop in ages, would be cultivated for achieving food grains. I am proud of my country, where agriculture is the backbone and pushes the GDP ahead.

I am proud that I live in a country with so rich soil containing suitable minerals that help in agriculture and promote farming. Different states of India have different varieties of soil, such as Gujarat has black soil that is suitable for growing cotton, Kerala has soil that is suitable for rice cultivation, and so on. One of the best things that happened in the country was the Green Revolution, offering intensive agricultural programs for farmers.

Women Empowerment

My biggest dream is to see women’s empowerment in all areas. I am happy to see women are becoming independent and can take up family responsibilities. However, many things need to work for women’s empowerment, such as stopping female feticide, promoting safety and equality in the organisation, etc. In rural areas of India, there are still many cases of women feticide and physical attack, endangering a woman’s life.

The patriarchy is still in existence in many places in India, that needs to be taken into consideration. Several jobs are still not open for women. For things to change in a better way, along with the government and other citizens, women as a community should also normalise certain things to change the mindset of the people and the society. For instance, generally, everywhere, the delivery person that comes to our door are men. There are nearly zero women who accept such jobs. Instead, they choose to be a housewife, which should not be the ideal situation. Society should normalise things for women that men have done for decades. Various types of reservations are also provided in education or jobs to uplift women and encourage better participation.

Thankfully, the Indian government, along with NGOs and social groups, are working towards the safety and empowerment of women in India. I want women in my country to be free from social stigma and live independent lives.

Empowering Poor

The rich are becoming richer, and the poor are becoming poorer. The middle class has been standing in the same situation ever since. This should not be the ideal situation for India. The more this gap will be, the more our country and people will suffer. India of my dreams should be a place where poor people get empowerment, face no poverty, do not starve, and get the proper roof to live.

Poor kids should get an education, so they are confident in facing the world and living a successful life. There should be no gap between the rich and the poor. The national income should be distributed rationally among different sections of society. In my opinion, socialism is the only remedy that can help to overcome the problem.

Employment Opportunity

The India of my dream should be where every individual should get employment opportunities. People must have a decent job that offers good pay, which will help in fulfilling dreams. Unfortunately, many young people with great talent are unable to find the right job due to corruption, quota, and reference.

Reservation has been the major hindrance in the path of growth of deserving candidates. Many of the young experts end up shifting abroad for job opportunities, helping the growth of the GDP of the respective country. India of My dream is a place where the deserving candidate must get a job. A country where young experts get a proper job will certainly witness profitable growth of GDP.

No More Caste Discrimination

Right from independence until now, caste discrimination has been the major hurdle in the growth of Indian society. In many villages of the country, some people still face caste discrimination issues. It is certainly shameful to see how people are denied their rights due to the caste issue. Thankfully, certain social groups work hard to bring down caste discrimination and give equal opportunities to people.

Reservation is also the major factor in promoting caste discrimination. The deserving candidate, be it of any caste, has to suffer more, and the non-deserving ones, be it of any caste, get admission easily into top-notch colleges of India. Students shift abroad for their higher studies or their jobs. They think that the education system of India is not up to the mark and the employment industry is also not very welcoming to keep the students in their company.

I want India to be corrupt-free, which will help in the growth of the nation. One of the reasons the country, even after all these years, is not able to develop is because of the corruption practised by people. No matter how big or small the work is, you need to give the money to get it done.

However, there are government policies that strike hard on such people who look for a bribe to perform the task. I dream of a country where people perform a task without taking any bribes.

Good Infrastructure and Sanitation

I dream of India, which has good infrastructure and sanitation. There are many villages, which lack poor sanitation and infrastructure. The Government of India needs to work on these, so people get what they deserve. Adequate sanitation is very important; it helps people in the village, especially women, to avoid going to open places and face health issues.

The Indian defence forces should be equipped with technologically advanced weapons. All the three military units, the army, the navy, and the air force, should be given extra attention by the government of India as the defence force of any nation is the most significant part of any country. The soldiers should be well-trained and have enough facilities, especially those serving at the borders.

India of my dream should be an ideal country, which I can be proud of and live with confidence. I want the coming generation to have a better life and get everything they deserve for living in this country. I want my country to be politically sound and unbiased, the democracy of my country to be the strongest and successful. Corruption should be eliminated from every aspect of our lives.

Taxes should be practically and judicially imposed, the difference between rich and poor should be eliminated, and there should not be any kind of inequalities. This dream nation should be the dream of every citizen living here, and then only the desired result will be seen. Every citizen should work and act accordingly so that our future generation will be proud of the nation they are born in, and the other countries of the world will take inspiration from India.

The India of my dream would be a country where women are safe and walk freely on road. Also, it will be a place where there is freedom of equality to all and everyone can enjoy it in their true sense. In addition, I see it as a place that sees an abundance of development and growth.

Essay on India of My Dreams

How can we make our dream India possible?

If we collectively look into everything, we will be able to identify the causes and solutions to all of the world’s problems. Similarly, building a great nation and resolving its deep-rooted problems is an attainable goal. India must have the following characteristics in order to become a Great Country:

  • Law That Is Just and Effective
  • Society of Peace
  • Equality of opportunity for everyone
  • Uncorrupted systems
  • Unbiased educational system

When these things become a reality, the entire country will take notice, and everyone will have the opportunity to enjoy a healthy and prosperous life. That is why we must all work together to bring about change in our country and contribute to improving people’s lives. Every person must work with their family and society, as well as support our government, which is also doing its bit by providing adequate education, transportation, food for everybody, and employment opportunities to all segments of society.

Technological Advancement

I would like to see India become more scientifically, technologically, and agriculturally sophisticated. I want to see an India where rationality and scientific ideas triumph over blind faith and bigotry. Because the present age is the age of science and information technology, I would like to bring India to the pinnacle of scientific and technical advancement. Scientific and technological developments are required since they are a critical stepping stone in the development of a country.

Women Empowerment

There is a lot of discrimination against women. But, still, the women are stepping out of their houses and making a mark on different fields and on society. In addition, there are a lot of areas that need to be worked upon whether it is female feticide or restricting them to the household task. Besides, many NGO and social groups have come forward to promote women empowerment .

However, we have to work hard to change the mindset of society. I dream of India as a country that sees women as its assets, not as liabilities. Also, I want to place women on an equal level as men.

Though there are many initiatives by the government to promote education. But there are many people who do not realize its true importance. The India of my dream will be a place where education will be mandatory for all.

I wish there were no uneducated people in India of my dreams. I would like to see India implement a system of education that allows every individual to earn a living. In my dream India, I would like the people of my country to appreciate the value of education and to encourage their children to pursue school rather than working in menial professions at a young age.

Employment Opportunities

Although there are many educated people in India. But, due to corruption and many other reasons they are unable to get a decent job. Besides, there are many employment opportunities in the country but they are either limited or don’t pay well enough. One of the reasons for this is weak industrial growth in the country.

In addition, reservation is a hindrance in this path as most of the deserving candidates lose their good opportunities because of it. Many of these deserving candidates go abroad and work for the economic growth of other countries . The Indian of My dream will be a place where the deserving candidate will get the job first rather than reserved candidates.

Caste Discrimination

Though India got independence in 1947, still we are not able to get complete independence from caste, religion, and creed discrimination. It is shameful to see how in certain parts of the country the people of the lower section of the society are denied the basic rights .

However, there are various social groups that speak for their rights and help them to oppose this oppression. Besides, I dream of an India where there is no discrimination of any kind.

Corruption is one of the major reasons that are hindering the growth of the nation . Instead of making an effort to serve the growth of the country the officials and politicians are busy filling their own pockets. So, I dream of an India where the minister and official are dedicated to their work and wholly for the development of the country.

A big number of well-educated persons appear to be unemployed as a result of politicians’ severe corruption and harshness. Because of the reservation system, the majority of deserving individuals have been denied the opportunity. My hope for India is that deserving applicants, not reserved candidates, receive the correct jobs. I would also like to see India become a place where the government’s primary focus is on the benefit of the country.

In conclusion, the India of my dream will be an ideal country where every citizen will be equal. Also, there is no discrimination of any type. In addition, it will be a place where women are seen as equals to men and respected equally.

Gender Discrimination and Inequality

It’s terrible to see how, despite showing themselves in every aspect of life, women are still regarded as inferior to males. My ideal India will be one in which women are protected in all circumstances, good or bad. There will be no more torture, domestic violence, or male dominance over women. Women will be able to pursue their dreams with greater freedom. In my future country, they should be treated equally and have the right to care. It would be a location where the safety of women would be of the first importance.

Medical Support

The sole goal of the medical profession shall be to protect people free from discomfort and sickness, with proper regard and respect for age and with all due consideration for the health of all the best medical facilities available. Not for profit, but for the sake of service. The elderly would be properly cared for, and life would appear to be worth living for as long as they lived. People in my ideal country would be born healthy, hopeful, and happy, and they would live happily ever after.

There is a lot of corruption in the country and its rate is only growing by the day. The common man is suffering at the hands of corrupt politicians who are only interested in fulfilling their own selfish motives. I dream of India that is free from corruption at all levels. It would be a place where the betterment of the country would be the sole agenda of the government.

  • Gender Discrimination

It is sad to see how even after proving themselves in every sphere of life women are still considered to be inferior to men. I dream of India where there is no gender discrimination. It would be a place where men and women are treated as equals.

In short, India of my dreams would be a place where people feel happy and secure and enjoy good quality of life.

India of My Dreams Essay 3 (400 words)

India takes pride in being home to people belonging to different castes, creeds and religions. The country is known for its rich culture and unity in diversity. It has also seen a boom in various industries over the past few decades. However, we still have a long way to go. Here are some of the areas that we need to work on in order to make it an ideal nation:

There is a lot of economic disparity in the country. The rich here are becoming richer and the poor are becoming poorer by the day. I dream of India where wealth is equally distributed among the citizens.

Lack of education is one of the main hindrances in the growth of the nation. The government is making efforts to spread awareness about the importance of education. However, it should also take steps to ensure that each and every person in the country seeks education.

There is a lack of good employment opportunities in the country. Even those who are well-qualified fail to get deserving jobs. The dissatisfaction level among the unemployed lot is high and they often take the road to crime. I dream of India that provides equal employment opportunities for all so that each one of us works for the growth and betterment of our country.

Casteism is another major issue that needs to be worked upon. India of my dreams would be a place where people are not discriminated based on their caste, creed or religion.

India of my dreams would be a place where women are given due respect and treated as being equal to men. It would be a place where women safety would be of utmost importance.

I dream of India as being a place free of corruption. It would be a place where the political leaders would be dedicated towards serving the countries rather than fulfilling their own selfish motifs.

  • Technological Growth

India has seen a rapid growth in the field of technology. I want it to grow at an even greater pace and attain newer heights to make its place among the first-rate countries.

I dream of India where people of different castes, creeds, religions, ethnic groups and economic/ social status live in perfect harmony with each other. There should be a fair play and government must ensure equal employment opportunities for all its citizens.

India of My Dreams Essay 4 (500 words)

India of my dreams would be a country where freedom of equality is enjoyed in its true sense. It would be a place where no discrimination is done on the basis of a person’s caste, creed, religion or social/economic status. I also dream of it as a place that sees abundance of industrial and technological growth. Here are some of the areas that particularly require attention:

Women Empowerment

Though more and more women are stepping out of their homes and making a mark in different fields there is still a lot of discrimination against women in our country. From female foeticide to restricting women to household tasks, there are a lot of areas that need to be worked upon. Many non-profit organizations have come forward to promote women empowerment. However, we still have to work a lot on changing the mindset of the society. I dream of India that sees women as an asset not a liability. I want it to be a place where men and women are treated as equals.

Though the government of India is making efforts to promote the significance of seeking education, many people in the country still don’t realize its importance. India of my dreams would be a place where education is made mandatory for all. The government must go a step further to ensure that no child in the country is devoid of education.

Employment Opportunities

Many qualified youths in the country fail to get good employment opportunities. The opportunities are either limited or do not pay enough to the deserving candidates. This is mainly because of weak industrial growth. There are certain other factors such as reservation that bar the deserving candidates from getting good opportunity. Many of the youths who fail to get good employment opportunities in India fly abroad and put their minds to work for the economic growth of other countries while others roam around unemployed.

Caste Discrimination

The country is still not completely free of discrimination on the basis of caste, creed and religion. It is sad to see how people belonging to the lower and weaker sections are even denied their basic rights in certain parts of the country. Besides, there are various fundamentalist and separatist groups that provoke people to propagate their religion and talk ill about the others. This often leads to unrest in the country. I dream of India where people are not discriminated based on their caste and religion.

Corruption is one of the main reasons why India is unable to grow at the speed at which it should. Instead of making an effort to serve the country, the political leaders here are busy filling their own pockets. I dream of India where the ministers are dedicated wholly and solely towards the development of the country and its citizens.

India of my dreams would be a country that sees all its citizens as equal and does not discriminate them based on any criteria. I dream of a place where women are respected and are seen equal to men. I also want India to see advancements in the field of science, technology, agriculture and education in the times to come.

India of My Dreams Essay 5 (600 words)

India is a country where people belonging to different ethnic groups, castes and religions live amicably. It boasts of a rich, variegated cultural heritage. Though colonized for a long period of time, India has come a long way ever since its independence. It has seen a huge social and economic growth over the last couple of decades. However, there is a lot of economic and social disparity in the county. People are also looked down upon because of their caste and religious preferences in many parts of the country. India of my dreams would be a place where every citizen enjoys true freedom of equality.

Areas of Improvement

There are a number of areas that our country still needs to work upon in order to grow and develop further. Here is a look at the four key areas that require immediate attention:

Education is the building block for any nation. One of the major drawbacks in our country is that people still do not recognize the importance of education. Those living in poverty or below poverty line particularly overlook the importance of getting educated. They do not realize that lack of education is one of the main factors responsible for their poverty. The Government is taking steps to ensure that more and more people have access to education by way of promoting the right of free and compulsory education for children and also by opening adult education schools. India of my dreams would be a place where every citizen is educated and skilled.

Gender discrimination is another issue that needs to be worked upon. While women are becoming aware of their rights and are doing well in various fields, they still have to fight a number of odds in order to make their place in the society. The birth of a girl child is still considered a curse in many parts of the country. Girls are not encouraged to go for higher studies. Even those who are well-qualified are expected to look after their family post marriage rather than working outside. At work, the wages paid to women are lesser than that paid to the men and the list of discrimination goes on. I dream of India that is devoid of discrimination against women.

  • Technological Advancement

While India has seen a lot of growth and advancement in the field of science and technology, it still requires working harder in this sphere. It is sad to see how genius minds from the country fly abroad to seek employment opportunities and contribute to the technological and industrial advancements of those countries rather than contributing to the development of their own country. I dream of India that offers good employment opportunities to deserving individuals and together all work towards the further technological advancement of the country.

The crime rate in India is growing by the day. Numerous cases of rape, robbery, dowry and murder are reported each day and many others go unnoticed/unreported. Lack of education, unemployment and poverty majorly attribute towards this. India of my dreams would be a country where the government is more sensitive towards the safety and security of the people. It would be a place free from all kinds of crime and exploitation.

India has seen a rapid industrial growth, technological advancement and progress in several other fields over the last few decades. However, there is still a lot of scope for improvement. India was once called the golden sparrow because of the prosperity it enjoyed. I want the country to attain that glory yet again. I do not want it to enjoy just economic richness but also become richer culturally and socially. All the citizens of the country must be treated equally and there should be no discrimination or injustice.

India of My Dreams Essay 1 (200 words)

India enjoys a rich cultural heritage. People belonging to various castes, creeds, and religions live peacefully in this country. However, certain groups of people try to incite people to serve their vested interests, thereby hampering peace in the country. I dream of an India that is devoid of such divisive tendencies. It should be a place where different ethnic groups live in perfect harmony with each other.

I also dream of India as a nation where every citizen is educated. I want the people of my country to understand the importance of education and ensure that their children seek education rather than indulging in menial jobs at a tender age. Adults who have missed a chance to study during their childhood must also join adult education classes to seek education to find a better job.

I want the government to provide equal employment opportunities for all so that the youth get deserving jobs and contribute to the growth of the nation. I want the country to become technologically advanced and see growth in all sectors. Lastly, I want India to be a country where women are treated with respect and are given equal opportunities as men.

Dreams of India Essay 2 (300 words)

India is a multi-cultural, multi-lingual, and multi-religious society that has seen steady progress in various spheres over the last century. I dream of India that progresses at an even greater pace and joins the list of developed countries in no time. Here are the key areas that need attention in order to make it a better place:

Education and Employment

I dream of India, where every citizen is educated and is able to find a deserving employment opportunity. No one can stop the growth and development of a nation full of educated and talented individuals.

Caste and Religious Issues

India of my dreams would be a place where people would not be discriminated against on the basis of their caste or religion. This would go a long way in strengthening the nation.

Industrial and Technological Growth

While India has seen industrial and technological growth in the past few decades, it is still not at par with many other countries. I dream of India that advances technologically and sees a boom in every sector.

There is a lot of corruption in the country, and its rate is only growing by the day. The common man is suffering at the hands of corrupt politicians who are only interested in fulfilling their own selfish motives. I dream of India that is free from corruption at all levels. It would be where the betterment of the country would be the sole agenda of the government.

Gender Discrimination

It is sad to see that even after proving themselves in every sphere of life, women are still considered inferior to men. I dream of India, where there is no gender discrimination. It would be a place where men and women are treated as equals.

In short, the India of my dreams would be where people feel happy and secure and enjoy a good quality of life.

India of My Dreams Essay 3 (400 words)

India is proud to be home to people of different castes, creeds, and religions. The country is known for its rich culture and unity in diversity. It has also seen a boom in various industries over the past few decades. However, we still have a long way to go. Here are some of the areas that we need to work on in order to make it an ideal nation:

There is a lot of economic disparity in the country. The rich here are becoming richer, and the poor are becoming poorer by the day. I dream of India, where wealth is equally distributed among the citizens.

Lack of education is one of the main hindrances to the growth of the nation. The government is making efforts to spread awareness about the importance of education. However, it should also take steps to ensure that each and every person in the country seeks education.

There is a lack of good employment opportunities in the country. Even those who well-qualified fail to get deserving jobs. The unemployed highly dissatisfied, and they often take the road to crime. I dream of India that provides equal employment opportunities for all so that each of us works for the growth and betterment of our country.

Casteism is another major issue that needs to be worked upon. India of my dreams would be a place where people are not discriminated against based on their caste, creed, or religion.

India of my dreams would a place where women are given due respect and treated as being equal to men. It would be where women’s safety would be of utmost importance.

I dream of India as being a place free of corruption. It would a place where the political leaders would dedicated to serving the countries rather than fulfilling their own selfish motifs.

Technological Growth

India has seen rapid growth in the field of technology. I want it to grow at an even greater pace and attain newer heights to make its place among the first-rate countries.

I dream of India, where people of different castes, creeds, religions, ethnic groups, and economic/ social statuses live in perfect harmony with each other. There should be fair play, and government must ensure equal employment opportunities for all its citizens.

India of My Dreams Essay 4 (500 words)

India of my dreams would a country where freedom of equality enjoyed in its true sense. It would a place where no discrimination is done on the basis of a person’s caste, creed, religion, or social/economic status. I also dream of it as a place that sees an abundance of industrial and technological growth. Here are some of the areas that particularly require attention:

Women Empowerment

Though more and more women are stepping out of their homes and making a mark in different fields, there is still a lot of discrimination against women in our country. From female foeticide to restricting women to household tasks, there a lot of areas that need to worked upon. Many non-profit organizations have come forward to promote women’s empowerment. However, we still have to work a lot on changing the mindset of society. I dream of India that sees women as an asset, not a liability. I want it to be where men and women treated as equals.

Though the government of India is making efforts to promote the significance of seeking education, many people in the country still don’t realize its importance. India of my dreams would be a place where education made mandatory for all. The government must go further to ensure that no child in the country is devoid of education.

Employment Opportunities

Many qualified youths in the country fail to get good employment opportunities. The opportunities limited or do not pay enough to the deserving candidates. This is mainly because of weak industrial growth. Other factors, such as reservations, prevent deserving candidates from getting good opportunities. Many youths who fail to get good employment opportunities in India fly abroad and put their minds to work for other countries’ economic growth, while others roam around unemployed.

Caste Discrimination

The country is still not completely free of discrimination on the basis of caste, creed, and religion. It is sad to see how people belonging to the lower and weaker sections are even denied their basic rights in certain parts of the country. Besides, various fundamentalist and separatist groups provoke people to propagate their religion and talk ill about others. This often leads to unrest in the country. I dream of India, where people not discriminated against based on caste and religion.

Corruption is one of the main reasons why India cannot grow at the speed it should. Instead of making an effort to serve the country, the political leaders here are busy filling their own pockets. I dream of India, where the ministers dedicated wholly and solely to the country’s and its citizens’ development.

India of my dreams would be a country that sees all its citizens as equal and does not discriminate against them based on any criteria. I dream of a place where women respected and seen as equal to men. I also want India to see advancements in science, technology, agriculture, and education in the times to come.

India of My Dreams Essay 5 (600 words)

India is where people belonging to different ethnic groups, castes, and religions live amicably. It boasts of a rich, variegated cultural heritage. Though colonized for a long time, India has come a long way since its independence. It has seen huge social and economic growth over the last couple of decades. However, the county has a lot of economic and social disparity. People also looked down upon because of their caste and religious preferences in many parts of the country. India of my dreams would be where every citizen enjoys true freedom of equality.

Areas of Improvement

There are a number of areas that our country still needs to work upon in order to grow and develop further. Here is a look at the four key areas that require immediate attention:

Education is the building block for any nation. One of the major drawbacks in our country is that people still do not recognize the importance of education. Those living in poverty or below the poverty line particularly overlook the importance of getting educated. They do not realize that lack of education is one of the main factors responsible for their poverty. The Government is taking steps to ensure that more and more people have access to education by promoting the right of free and compulsory education for children and by opening adult education schools. India of my dreams would a place where every citizen educated and skilled.

Gender discrimination another issue that needs to worked upon. While women are becoming aware of their rights and are doing well in various fields, they still have to fight many odds to make their place in society. The birth of a girl child still considered a curse in many parts of the country. Girls not encouraged to go for higher studies. Even those who well-qualified expected to look after their family post-marriage rather than working outside. At work, the wages paid to women are lesser than that paid to men, and the list of discrimination goes on. I dream of an India that is devoid of discrimination against women.

Technological Advancement

While India has seen a lot of growth and advancement in science and technology, it still requires working harder in this sphere. It is sad to see how genius minds from the country fly abroad to seek employment opportunities and contribute to those countries’ technological and industrial advancements rather than contributing to the development of their own country. I dream of India that offers good employment opportunities to deserving individuals and together all work towards the further technological advancement of the country.

The crime rate in India is growing by the day. Numerous rape, robbery, dowry, and murder cases reported daily, and many others go unnoticed/unreported. Lack of education, unemployment, and poverty majorly attributed to this. India of my dreams would be a country where the government is more sensitive toward the safety and security of the people. It would be a place free from all kinds of crime and exploitation.

India has seen rapid industrial growth, technological advancement, and progress in several other fields over the last few decades. However, there is still a lot of scope for improvement. India was once called the golden sparrow because of the prosperity it enjoyed. I want the country to attain that glory yet again. I do not want it to enjoy just economic richness but also become richer culturally and socially. All the citizens of the country must treated equally, and there should no discrimination or injustice.

The government has transparency and is held accountable for its actions. Although no vision goes without its challenges. To make India of my dreams, such challenges need to be addressed and work towards creating a nation where every person can lead a happy, healthy, and fulfilling life.

My Contributions

As a young student studying in college, I have always had a sense of responsibility on my part to do something to give back to the community. So, as soon as I heard about an opportunity available to work in an NGO that is focused on improving the lives of underprivileged children in rural India, I knew it was something that I needed to be a part of.

I immediately joined the NGO as a volunteer and was struck by the reality of the living conditions of the children and their families. Most of them have almost little to no access to even necessities such as healthcare, clean water, education, etc. Hence, I was determined to make a difference and began working tirelessly to raise awareness about their situation and eventually secure funding for various projects.

One of the main initiatives we took was building a school in a remote village that had no access to education. It was indeed a challenging task, but with our determination and the help of the local people and their leaders, we were able to get the funding and resources needed to construct the school. As I look back on the time I spent in the NGO, I feel a sense of pride knowing that I was able to make a difference and contribute to our Nation in its betterment. I hope to continuously be involved in this kind of work in the future to make a difference.

India, my country, is a land of rich cultural heritage, diversity, and vibrant traditions. It’s a place where ancient wisdom meets modernity, creating a unique tapestry of experiences and identities. From the snow-capped Himalayas in the north to the serene backwaters of Kerala in the south, India’s geographical beauty is awe-inspiring. Despite the myriad of languages, religions, and customs, there’s a sense of unity in diversity that binds us together as Indians. Our festivals, such as Diwali, Holi, Eid, and Christmas, are celebrated with joy, reflecting the harmonious coexistence of different cultures. As Indians, we take pride in our progress and achievements, yet acknowledge the challenges we face. With its vast potential and resilient spirit, India continues to march forward, striving for a brighter future for all its citizens. India is not just a country; it’s an emotion, a way of life, and a source of inspiration for millions around the globe. In this article, we will explore writing an essay on India of My Dreams.

500 Word Essay on India of My Dreams

India, my beloved motherland, is a nation with an ancient, rich legacy interwoven with a youthful spirit of innovation and possibility. As I envision the India of my dreams for the future, I see a thriving society that seamlessly blends cutting-edge technological advancement with an enduring respect for our diversity and treasured heritage. A place where progress and harmony coexist in perfect equilibrium. At the core of my vision is an India that has fully harnessed the boundless potential of its human capital and emerged as a global leader in science, technology, and sustainable development. I dream of vibrant urban centers that are smart, interconnected, and designed around green, renewable energy sources. A nation at the forefront of industries like artificial intelligence, biotechnology, aerospace, and frontier technologies that enhance human lives while preserving our fragile planet.

The India of my dreams provides state-of-the-art educational infrastructure to nurture the infinite brilliance within our youth from every corner of the country. I envision elite research institutions and innovation hubs that attract the finest minds globally, fostering an ecosystem of groundbreaking ideas and solutions to humanity’s greatest challenges. Yet this technological prowess does not come at the cost of divorcing us from our roots, cultures, and wisdom passed down through millennia.

Hand-in-hand with modernity is a deep reverence for our ancient spiritual and philosophical traditions. The holistic, compassionate ideals of India’s great thinkers and belief systems are seamlessly synthesized into societal progress. By upholding timeless human values like peaceful coexistence, nonviolence, and universal brotherhood, India’s developmental pursuits acquire profoundly deeper meaning and purpose.

In this new, dynamic India of my aspirations, economic prosperity is democratized and inclusive, reaching all strata of society. I envision empowered rural communities liberated from generational poverty cycles through technological empowerment and sustainable village ecosystems. Social mobility is unrestricted, with every Indian having equitable access to quality education, healthcare, and opportunities for growth regardless of backgrounds or demographics. Paramount in this vision is the dream of unifying India’s beautiful diversity into a harmonious whole. Our glorious nation is a brilliant tapestry of cultural, linguistic, ethnic, and religious variations that I hope will forever be joyously celebrated and cherished, bound by a common Indian identity of acceptance and unity. Mutual understanding, coexistence and respectful assimilation will be the celebrated norms in the ideal India.

Most importantly, the democratic core that is India’s greatest asset remains fiercely guarded and nurtured. I envision a society with independent institutions that respect human rights, liberty and freedom of expression unconditionally. One where balanced governance, transparency, rule of law and ethical conduct serve as lighthouses that guide our republic into perpetual peace and egalitarianism. On the world stage, my dream India is a formidable force that leads by example on the most significant global matters. An economic and diplomatic powerhouse that prioritizes sustainable development and harnesses its strengths in technology, innovation, diplomacy and defense in service of humanity. A nation whose ancient principle of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (the world is one family) is manifested earnestly.

This is the India of my dreams – an enlightened civilization operating at the cutting edge of innovation and prosperity, yet forever grounded in pluralistic compassion and a nurturing, harmonious human embrace for all. An incredible nation that serves as a beacon of hope and inspiration for the entire world. With unified focus and unwavering dedication from every conscientious citizen, I have no doubt that this dream can be actualized for the greater glory of the incredible human potential in Bharat.

800 Word Essay on India of My Dreams

When I close my eyes and imagine the absolute best version of India in the future, I see a perfect balance between the age-old richness of our culture and traditions on one hand, and being a global superpower through cutting-edge technology and innovations on the other. This dream India has one foot firmly rooted in our glorious past, while also taking proud strides towards an ultra-modern, developed society.

In my vision, India remains the vibrant, spiritual beacon it has been for thousands of years. The melodies of ancient Sanskrit shlokas still reverberate through timeless temples. Age-old festivals like Diwali, Holi, Pongal and more are celebrated with just as much zeal, bringing families and communities together in cherished traditions. Our handicrafts, classical arts, yoga, Ayurveda, and other priceless aspects of our heritage are not just preserved, but actively promoted worldwide.

At the same time, this future India is a true global powerhouse that has harnessed the limitless potential of its greatest resource – human capital. My dream is that we build elite education systems and universities that are the envy of the world. Imagine Indian universities mentioned in the same breath as Oxford, Cambridge and MIT. Students from every corner of the globe flock to these bastions of higher learning to gain knowledge from the finest minds. Within the hallowed grounds of these institutions, the brightest Indian and international minds collaborate on pushing the boundaries of science, technology and innovation. Research across cutting-edge fields like artificial intelligence, biotechnology, aerospace engineering, quantum computing, clean energy and more put India at the forefront of human progress. The labs and facilities in these universities are ultramodern marvels.

Thanks to these innovations, the cities and villages of India transform into technological utopias. Our urban centers are green smart cities with hyper-efficient public transport run on renewable energy. Meanwhile, rural areas become self-sufficient hubs with sustainable farming, renewable microgrids, and ample economic opportunities fueled by technology. Connectivity is seamless across the nation with ultra-high-speed internet and communications networks.

India’s academic leadership extends to the realm of space exploration as well. In this dream, the Indian space agency becomes on par with NASA, ESA and other prolific space explorers. Indian scientists, engineers and astronauts would spearhead many interplanetary missions, space stations and groundbreaking celestial research. Who knows, we may even be the first to establish human settlements on Mars some day!

Of course, this vision of a technologically-supercharged society keeps sustainability and human welfare at its core. Eco-friendly and climate change mitigation solutions are pioneered through Indian innovations and initiatives to nurture the environment. Meanwhile, advanced healthcare systems using biological engineering, remote AI-enabled digital clinics, and genomic medicine help eradicate diseases and provide affordable care to all citizens.

None of this incredible progress comes at the cost of losing sight of our ancient ideals and philosophies. Instead, our newfound knowledge helps us truly tap into the wellsprings of wisdom from Indian sages, civilizational emblems, and epics like the Vedas, Upanishads, Gita and Puranas. We apply their spiritual teachings of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ (the world is one family), non-violence, and human unity into building a more conscious, equitable and ethical society in tune with nature.

Economically and geopolitically, India becomes an unparalleled leader on the global stage through both its mastery over transformative technologies and its principled application of our ancestral human values. With innovation as the engine and harmony as the fuel, we steer the world on a path towards sustainable peace and progress.

Unity in diversity remains the bedrock of this dream Indian society. Our multitude of cultures, languages, beliefs, arts, customs, cuisines and more aren’t diluted but rather proudly intermingled in a spirit of mutual respect and celebratory coexistence. By nurturing the mosaic that defines our plural identity, a strong nationalistic spirit emerges – one that takes immense pride in our composite heritage while embracing modernity and development in our stride to glory.

This is the India of my dreams – a nation that melds the timeless jewels of our ancient Bharatiya ethos and heritage with a visionary, New India soaring to new frontiers of scientific exploration and advancement. A society founded on universal brotherhood, environmental consciousness, knowledge sharing and state-of-the-art human upliftment. An enlightened civilization that is humankind’s guiding light for generations to come.

With dedication, youthful energy, good governance and the eternal ideals embedded in our cultural DNA, I have no doubt that we can manifest this dream into reality. This is the incredible destiny awaiting India! An inspiring synthesis of our storied past and a futuristic vision of upliftment for the world. I dream of the day when this perfect blend of pride in heritage and technological progress becomes our living, breathing reality.

Shaili Contractor

Key Points To Remember: Essay On India Of My Dreams For Lower Primary Classes

10 lines on ‘india of my dreams’ for kids, a paragraph on ‘india of my dreams’ for children, short essay on ‘india of my dreams’ in 200 words for kids, long essay on ‘india of my dreams’ for children, what will your child learn from an essay on india of my dreams.

Children are very imaginative and creative. When given topics like “India Of My Dreams” for essay writing, they visualise what they feel is the best for the future of the country. This essay writing assignment in English for classes 1, 2 and 3 provides numerous advantages to children. To begin with, it helps their brain function in a certain way as they process small details to write about the assigned topic. Children attempt to organise their ideas on paper and develop phrases to explain their thoughts. This action gradually broadens their vocabulary by allowing them to discover new terms. As a child, writing essays increases observation. Children construct simple phrases that serve as the foundation for their language abilities and grammar. Essay writing helps children develop their writing skills while improving their memory and inventiveness. Essay writing also allows children to express themselves creatively.

There are certain things that a kid needs to keep in mind while writing an essay about the India of their dreams. Here are some of the key points:

  • Begin the essay with an introduction that outlines the topic and sets a stage for the rest of the essay.
  • Use different paragraphs for each topic.
  • Identify all the key points/topics that you’d like to discuss and use them as subheadings.
  • Elaborate on the subheadings in detail to explain your views on each of the topics.
  • Include specific actions the government can take to improve the current situation and make it the India of your dreams.
  • End the essay with an appropriate conclusion.

Writing an essay on a topic like India Of My Dreams can be challenging and confusing for kids. Here are 10 lines that can be used in an essay for classes 1 and 2.

  • I fantasise about the country of my dreams, hoping that my fantasies may come true. Dreams may not be real, but there is no harm in thinking about the ideal and making efforts to accomplish it.
  • Politically, the India of my aspirations would be a strong and prosperous democracy with equal rights for all citizens.
  • There would be no corruption. Taxes would be imposed and paid honestly.
  • There will be no problems like hunger and poverty, and everyone will have access to food, clothing, and shelter.
  • There will be facilities for education for everyone.
  • National wealth will be utilised fairly.
  • Industries will progress but avoid pollution.
  • My ideal India would have a strong military and no one would dare to cross its borders.
  • My dream India will have tolerance and respect for all religions and faiths.
  • Every citizen should have free access to medical and healthcare facilities.

To give an idea about how children can write their essays, here is a paragraph on India of my dream for classes 1 and 2.

We are proud of India’s rich culture and heritage because India is an ancient country. We are also pleased with our secular democracy and growth. My ambition is for India to become a country free of corruption and to become an economically powerful country. I want my people to become the world’s most powerful economic force, free of poverty. Furthermore, I want our country to take the lead in delivering world peace and technological development. But we don’t see that happening in the current scenario. If we want to realise this dream, we must act now.

I imagine India as a country in which every individual is educated. I visualise that the people of my country recognise the value of education and encourage their children to pursue it rather than engage in menial labour at a young age. Adults who did not have the opportunity to study throughout their childhood must now do so through adult education classes.

India has a diverse cultural history. People of many castes, creeds, and faith coexist harmoniously in my country. India should always remain a place where diverse people of many diverse backgrounds coexist peacefully.

I want the government to give fair work opportunities for everyone so that the deserving youth can contribute to the nation’s progress. I want to see the country become more technologically proficient and grow in all areas. Finally, I want India to be a country where women are respected and given equal opportunities.

A long essay for class 3 children should consist of an introduction followed by the points they’d like to cover in a subheading format. Elaborate on each of the subheadings and end the essay with a conclusion.

My ideal India would be a place where freedom and equality are fully realised. It would be a place where no one is discriminated against because of their caste, creed, religion, or socio-economic standing. I also imagine it as a place with a lot of industrial and technological development. Here are a few of the areas that require special attention:

1. Education

Education is the foundation of any country. One of our country’s fundamental flaws is that people still do not understand the value of education. Those who are poor or living below the poverty level sometimes do not get the benefits of education. The government is taking steps to guarantee that more people have access to education by promoting the fundamental right of children to free and compulsory education and building adult education schools. My ideal India is one in which every citizen is educated and skilled.

2. An environment that is absolutely clean, green, and pollution-free

My ideal India will be clean, green, and safe for everyone. People will appreciate the lush vegetation, clean air, and pollution-free surroundings. India of my dreams will maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Citizens will take an active role in cleaning up India so that everyone can live in a healthy environment.

I dream about an India with good infrastructure and cleanliness. Many settlements suffer from inadequate sanitation and infrastructure. The Indian government needs to focus on these issues so that people get what they deserve. Sanitation is critical because it allows people in the community, particularly women, to avoid developing health problems.

3. Corruption

Corruption is the underlying hurdle of our country’s development problems. Our country will flourish quickly if our government and political system are free of corruption. The bribery system will be abolished, and all bureaucrats will be held to a higher standard of ethics and accountability. Every government employee will be accountable for their work. As a result, the India of my dreams will be free of corruption.

4. Women empowerment

Women are valued everywhere in the India of my dreams. They have equal power and rights. They are considered a vital member of the family, with the ability to make decisions and have financial autonomy. They must be provided with a secure atmosphere free of crimes when they are outside, or at the workplace and even at home. They will receive equal wages as their male counterparts. They must feel comfortable and secure to channel their entire potential and energy into productive endeavours. This would allow them to use their skills and contribute to the nation’s progress.

5. Technological advancement

While our country has made a lot of progress in the realm of science and technology, it still has to strive more in this area. It is terrible to watch how brilliant minds from the country leave the country in search of work and contribute to the technological and industrial accomplishments of other countries rather than contributing to the growth of their own. I imagine an India that provides good job opportunities to qualified folks and where people work together to improve the country’s technological growth.

My ideal country should be one that I can be proud of and live in with confidence. I want the next generation to have a better life and to receive what they deserve in this country.

Through this essay in English on India Of My Dreams, your child will be instilled with patriotism and optimism for their own and the country’s future. It will also open up your child to think creatively about how their country can make progress, which will in turn make them consider the different ways in which they can contribute to making India the country of their dreams.

An essay about India is a great way for you to instil a sense of love, responsibility, and hope for the motherland in your child from a young age.

Essay on India of My Dreams

April 27, 2018 by Study Mentor Leave a Comment

“Where the mind is without fear a nd the head is held high”

These beautiful lines by Rabindranath Tagore clearly explains India of my dreams; a place where everyone is free of fear; free from fears of all kinds and living happily. But with time this dream of mine is becoming a far-fetched reality.

We are the citizens of India, a country which had a glorious past and was heading towards even brighter future. In all these dreams and aspirations, we did not even realized when and where we went astray. I am no way a pessimistic and have full faith one day we will change the face of our country.

We will make it a place as desired by our ancestors. But presently we are in a grave situation where we are facing the loss of humanity. The incidents of last few weeks have clearly raised a question mark…

How can a person be so inhuman to behave in such a brutal way with an eight year old girl?? The question is not about a small girl only… It is actually about everyone women facing similar situation; just in different forms.

In a country where women are equivalent to Goddess how can such thoughts be so alluring that the whole humanity is ashamed. Goddess are worshiped and women are harassed as if the people are fooling the supreme deity.

Whenever a severe incident happens and if it comes to notice, there is a huge hue and cry as if after this the scenario will change. But just in few days everyone is again quiet… All the protests, support goes in vain… The cases are filed, sessions start and keep on going and no justice is delivered and when finally delivered, it has been too late for it be considered as a lesson.

I am not questioning the judiciary and understand the load they have to handle but the delay and the procedures which are the cause of it really upset me. The principle to provide a chance to everyone can never be applied to such a person who didn’t even spared a little girl.

Things do take time but it should at no cost be so long that it provides an impetus to others for such an act. We really need to adopt a very strict attitude towards this; timely and strict decisions even death penalty to be given to create a fear in those people who have forgotten their humanity.

This was regarding the share of the legal and administrative systems to rectify the procedures and try to create a fearless society; but what about the responsibility of an individual.. Is it just for the protest or the social media support??

Do it really matters to everyone to think regarding this or they just become a part of the mob for that instance?? For some of the people it may matter but they don’t make efforts for this until it directly affects them. For some others everything matters only till they are protesting or supporting.

Very few are there who are genuinely concerned for such issues. For rest others, I can say they are waiting for the moment when something like this happens to them or their close ones. I feel sorry but it has actually become the reality of our society.

Whatever is being done is due to a purpose. The protests. The social media supports of being ashamed are all a big drama to cover up the issue and show that we are affected while the reality is very threatening.

We need to shake ourselves up from the deep slumber. We need to understand that change is required and the major responsibility for this lies with the youth. I would like to call out the youngsters and say Stop thinking for yourself, Start thinking for your country.

For the humanity. Don’t wait for the right moment rather create the right moment and move ahead. We really need to wake up the humanity if we need to save our world from becoming a danger zone for all. Do whatever it takes (in a right manner) to get up and join with others for the betterment of the world.

Free oneself from all the shackles of religion, caste, creed, education etc. and rise high for the sake of humanity. Let nothing deter us from the cause of a better world, a better country.

Lastly, I would quote a line by The Father of the Nation Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi

“BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE IN THE WORLD”

Below we have given a long essay on India of My Dreams of 500 words is helpful for classes 7, 8, 9 and 10 and Competitive Exam Aspirants. This long essay on the topic is suitable for students of class 7 to class 10, and also for competitive exam aspirants.

All of us being inhabitants or citizens of our country naturally dream of what kind of a country we desire. We even dream of building the kind of country we want. India is a large country with an amazing wealth of diversity. With the onset of the new millennium, historians, sociologists and other experts predict that only three Asian countries seem to be the ones who can or have the potential of taking Asia to great heights i.e, India, China and Japan. China and India seem to be more dominating and promising because of their impressive size and huge manpower. India, marching gloriously ahead after her Independence, is emerging as a force to reckon with.

But a lot needs to be done at home front as illiteracy, population explosion, poverty, unemployment, corrupt politicians as well as bureaucracy are the burning problems of the day. Besides this, we have failed to provide basic needs of life to all the citizens like safe and clean drinking water, housing, sanitation, a square meal a day, medical facilities etc. Moreover, the problem of malnutrition, AIDS etc are growing day-by-day. India has the world’s third-largest population suffering from HIV /AIDS. According to the WHO report, about 2.5 million Indians are suffering from AIDS and if nothing is done in this regard India will overtake Africa in the cases of HIV infection. The India of my dreams may appear impractical and a little too imaginative to many, but then this is what I want my country to be. In the land of my dreams, the suffering of millions and the burden of poverty will be no more. The ever-widening gap between the rich and the poor will be bridged.

Education will be free and compulsory, and there will be complete law and order. Crime and violence will no longer be because reason will reign all over. Every citizen will be free to express his/her ideas. No one would be deprived of justice. Everyone will live with dignity. There will be equal rights for everyone. There shall be no discrimination between the rich and the poor, high or low, man or woman.

Malevolent and dividing forces like casteism, regionalism, communalism, parochialism, provincialism, chauvinism will lose their identity and roots. There will be no more corrupt politicians in the country. The country will be run by capable and able youth elected democratically. Terrorism and violence would end. Peace will reign supreme. Bureaucracy will be honest and prompt in their duty. Right incentives will be given to those who are economically backward to bring them at par with others. There would be no minority and no majority feelings. No part of the country would feel side-lined or cut off from the mainstream. There would be no child labour, no exploitation and no one will sleep hungry.

Science and technology will trickle down to every village, town and city. Computer literacy will be cent percent. Science will erase even the least traces of superstitions and ignorance. India will be a haven for scientists. We will produce our own indigenous products and technology. The country will be self-reliant on technology and everything else. Every citizen will be swayed only by one emotion — patriotism and nothing else.

Speech on India of My Dreams

India, the land of diversity, holds a unique charm. You might dream of an India that shines with prosperity and peace.

Imagine an India where everyone lives in harmony, where every child receives quality education. It’s a dream, but together, we can make it a reality.

1-minute Speech on India of My Dreams

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I stand before you today to speak on the topic – ‘India of My Dreams’. Every person in this room loves India because this is our homeland. We have a sense of belonging here. However, the India I dream of is slightly different from the India we see today.

My first vision for India is poverty eradication. Every citizen should have access to basic necessities – nutritious food, clean water, proper shelter, healthcare facilities, and quality education. No person should sleep hungry, no child should be deprived of education, and no sick person should be deprived of treatment because of poverty. This is the India of my dreams.

Secondly, I dream of an India that is free from corruption. Today, corruption is one of the biggest obstacles in the path of India’s growth. I dream of an India where the authorities are completely transparent and accountable, where there’s no room for bribery or corruption.

Thirdly, I envision an India that is technologically advanced. An India where every person, irrespective of their social or economic status, has access to technology and the internet. Technology can revolutionize our country, providing immense opportunities for growth and development.

Lastly, the India of my dreams is an India of unity. Today, we see so much division on the basis of religion, caste, language, and region. I dream of an India where all Indians, no matter their religion, caste, or language, live together in harmony.

In conclusion, the India of my dreams may seem idealistic, but it is not impossible. If we all join hands and work towards a common goal, it can become a reality. I dream of a day when India will stand as a shining example of prosperity, peace, and unity in the world.

2-minute Speech on India of My Dreams

Today, we have gathered here to share ideas about the India of our dreams. The picture I envision may be similar to yours, or it may be different, but it is born from the same desire – to see our nation thrive and achieve its full potential.

I dream of an India that shines bright in the world for its unity in diversity. India is a country of diverse cultures, traditions, languages, and religions. My dream India is one where harmony exists among all these diversities – a country where differences are celebrated, and unity is cherished. A nation where each community feels proud of its identity yet a part of the larger Indian identity.

My dream India is one where every citizen has access to quality education. Education is the most potent tool in the hands of a nation to shape its future. In my vision, every school in India, regardless of its location or infrastructure, provides its students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed and contribute to the country’s development. An India where teachers are respected, valued, and well-trained, and where every child, regardless of gender, caste, or economic background, has the opportunity to learn and grow.

I also dream of an India where every citizen can access quality healthcare. An India where healthcare is not a privilege of the few but a right of all. In my dream, India is a country that invests in the health and wellbeing of its citizens, ensuring they have access to medical facilities and services, both in urban and rural areas. An India where health is not just about treating illness but promoting wellness.

Furthermore, my dream India is a nation that makes optimal use of its natural resources while respecting and preserving its rich biodiversity. An India that strikes a balance between development and environmental sustainability. A nation that is mindful of the impact of climate change and actively works towards mitigating its effects.

I dream of an India that is free from corruption, where the rule of law prevails, and justice is prompt and unbiased. I dream of an India where each citizen, regardless of their status or influence, is equal in the eyes of the law.

Lastly, I dream of an India where everyone has equal opportunities, where every individual is respected for their skills and abilities, not judged based on their gender, caste, or economic status. An India where everyone can dream and have the means to fulfill those dreams.

In conclusion, the India of my dreams is a country that is prosperous, inclusive, progressive, and compassionate. It’s an India that celebrates its diversity, upholds the values of justice and equality, and strives towards a balanced and sustainable development. Even though it may seem like a dream, I sincerely believe that we can make it a reality. After all, a nation is made up of its people, and if we, as individuals, strive for these ideals, the India of our dreams will not remain a dream for long.

India of My Dreams Speech - 10 Lines, Short and Long Speech

India is a place where people from all cultures and religions coexist. As Indian citizens, we are constantly seeking ways to enhance our country and envision a better India . My hopes for our magnificent country are for peace and prosperity. When every person follows the rule of law, supports the nation with their families, and contributes to making India a better place, India will be a wonderful country.

India of My Dreams Speech - 10 Lines, Short and Long Speech

10 Lines on India of My Dreams

  • Peace and harmony shall reign in the India of my dreams. Every citizen will be literate, and India will soar to unprecedented heights.
  • It will be free of war, terrorism, starvation, and pain. It will be filled with compassion, tranquility, and happiness.
  • In my ideal India, the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene will be maintained.
  • This is my India – a beautiful country of peace, prosperity, and honesty, where no one is afraid to speak the truth and where there is no corruption.
  • It will be a country where women are respected, people of all religions coexist, and every individual feels pleased to be an Indian.
  • The India of my dreams is devoid of corrupt institutions such as the caste system and poverty.
  • I am looking forward to technical advancement in India, as well as advances in medical facilities. I want to see a happy India and hope to contribute to it.
  • My ideal India should be free of crime and harm to the common man. Crime produces stress in society and impediments to any country's prosperity. I wish to see my country in peace and harmony.
  • My ideal India would be a country where women may freely wander the streets. In addition, there will be actual equality, which I want everyone to have.
  • Unemployment is one of the most severe issues in our country. We have an educated but unemployed youth population. Everyone will be able to find work in the India of my dreams.

Short Speech on India of My Dreams

Everyone wishes to see their country grow and become democratically prosperous. Progress can be seen in a country where there is equality in all fields and for all genders. Furthermore, a country where there is no discrimination based on caste, race, gender, or economic standing finds actual progress. People in such countries also make good growth in all areas. India is evolving, and I want it to progress and grow. In the near future, I hope it will become the India of my dreams.

My ideal India will be devoid of poverty. When I see starving youngsters asking for food on the streets, it makes me really sad. I want poverty to leave my country and for everyone to have enough food to live. I wish to Imagine India as a place where everyone has access to education. There are youngsters from low-income homes who cannot afford education due to the high cost of education. Education should be provided at no cost to such children.

I imagine an India where numerous scientists are engaged in significant research, an India known for its outstanding scientific and technological advancements. An India that is a pioneer not only in new discoveries and technologies but also in spirituality.

It will be a corruption-free environment, where people don't fear speaking the truth and where wildlife is protected from poachers. An India where every person plants and maintains a minimum of 10 to 20 trees during their lifetime. At last, I dream of India, where people of different castes, religions, creeds, ethnic groups and economic/ social statuses live in unison with each other. There should be fair play, and the government must ensure employment opportunities for all its citizens.

Long Speech on India of My Dreams

India is the country of my dreams; there, people of many castes, creeds, faiths, ethnic groupings and economic and social levels coexist together. The government must guarantee equitable employment possibilities for all of its inhabitants, and there should be fair play.

The India of my dreams is the one where women are treated with respect and dignity. They share the same rights and authority as males. They are treated as a significant family member who can make decisions and is financially independent. They must be provided with a secure atmosphere free from dangers, including rape, physical assault, kidnapping, acid attacks, domestic violence, the dowry system, sexual harassment at work, etc. For them to use their full ability and energy in the appropriate directions, they must feel safe and protected. They would be able to demonstrate their talent in this way and aid in the growth of the country.

Everyone will be healthy and clean in the India of my dreams. People will appreciate the natural surroundings, clean air, and lack of pollution. In the India of my aspirations, the most extraordinary levels of hygiene and cleanliness will be upheld. India's citizens will take an active role in keeping it clean so that everyone can live in a healthy environment.

In the India of my dreams, the underprivileged are empowered, there is no hunger or poverty, and everyone has a decent roof over their heads.

To create the India of our dreams, we must get rid of any element that can be responsible for the populace's poor health. We must ensure that everyone in our nation has access to advanced healthcare, that streets, rivers, and other public areas are clean, and that everyone takes all reasonable precautions to prevent the spread of disease.

Poor children should attend school to give them the confidence to face the world and lead successful lives. The divide between the rich and the poor shouldn't exist. The national revenue ought to be distributed fairly across all societal segments. In my view, the only effective treatment is socialism.

This is my India—a wonderful nation, one where people are free to tell the truth, and are prosperous and honest and where there is no corruption. It will be a nation where everyone is pleased to be an Indian, where women are respected, and where people of all religions cohabit. It will be a country free from bloodshed, terrorism, starvation and misery.

Over the past few decades, India has experienced substantial industrial growth, technical innovation, and success in a number of other areas. However, there is still a lot of space for development. India used to be referred to as the "golden sparrow" due to its economic success. I want the nation to regain its former splendor. I want it to experience more social and cultural wealth in addition to economic wealth. There must be no prejudice or unfair treatment against any of the nation's citizens.

Finally, I have a dream about India, as Rabinder Nath Tagore describes it in the lines— “Where the head is held high, where the mind is without fear into that heaven of freedom. O Lord, let my country awake".

Short Essay – 250 Words

Introduction

Everybody in this world has a desire that the nation in which they reside must excel in every sector. It is pleasing to hear people talking good about our nation and its people. I have a desire to see my nation as it appears in my dreams. My dream nation would be free of social issues like corruption, poverty, illiteracy, crime, etc.

India of my dreams must have ‘women with equal opportunity as men’

Every society and nation can progress if there is equal participation of men and women. I want that to make India a nation where women get equal importance and opportunity without any discrimination. Every girl must be given a chance to attend school and acquire an education. I want that the men in the nation must also understand the importance of women and help them in getting the place that they deserve. I want that the killing of girl child must be stopped in the nation and people must understand the give equal importance to the girl child as they give to the boy child.

People must reside with unity without the feeling of hatred

India is a nation that is having rich cultural and religious diversity. It is good that people following different religions and cultures are living in one nation. I want the people of the nation must live in harmony and peace. When people of any nation live with the feeling of unity it will enhance the progress of the nation. Moreover, it will make the nation a better place to live.

India of my dreams would be a nation with enormous development in science and technology. The enhanced research and development in the nation would help in getting rid of the financial crisis and give rise to more employment opportunities in the nation.

Long Essay on India of My Dreams – Justice and Equality for All

The thought of our dream of India would have most probably come once in everyone’s mind. Every true Indian wish for the development and progress of the nation. We all want to see the nation according to our dreams with no corruption, injustice, and discrimination. It is always said that dreams are necessary and they become the reason for the change.

Brief Elucidation of India

India is the name of the nation that is most blessed with every type of resource, climatic conditions, geographical variations, and religious diversity. Despite being blessed with nature’s commodities and having the honor of the biggest democracy in the world, there is poverty, illiteracy, corruption, injustice prevailing throughout the nation. These factors are greatly responsible for the differences that are created in society and the nation. Moreover, they are also responsible for hindering the development of the nation.

I hope no one in the nation wants to live in chaos and static problems. Every one of us wishes for a peaceful and happy life. This is very easy to say but is very difficult to practice in reality. This requires a broad-minded attitude in every one of us. The end of the different existing problems would only contribute to the formation of our dream nation.

India as My Dream Nation

I have a great love for my nation and thus it is very painful to hear anything wrong about my nation from anyone. I have studied about the elegance of the nation but the reality of the condition inside the nation is saddening. People are more interested in getting power and making money for their own benefits. They never think of the nation before doing anything wrong. I dream of my India to be free of every type of corruption, discrimination, and injustice. I have a desire that people instead of being jealous would develop the habit of appreciating and motivating others for becoming successful. I wish that I could make it a reality.

Whenever I dream of a nation of my own kind, I want to see the happiness on everyone’s face. Nobody must be discriminated against on any grounds and people should greatly contribute to the development of the nation. I want everyone in the nation to be educated so that they can avail good job opportunities and there must be an end to the issues of poverty and illiteracy. There are different factors that need to be looked upon for bringing change for looking India according to our dreams. I will be enlisting about few important things that I really want to change to make the nation look like the nation of my dreams.

Equality for All

I wish that there might be an equal status of the people in our nation and none in the nation might face any type of discrimination on several grounds. We have seen people being discriminated against on the basis of caste, religion, color, creed, and sex. Casteism is prevailing everywhere and is the reason for numerous cases and fights to happen every day in the nation. People even do not talk properly with each other.

There are some sources that are actively creating the differences between normal people and engaging them in riots. They just take the benefit of our misunderstanding and inequality. The nation would look like paradise if there were no such differences prevailing in the nation. Equality is the most important thing that is required for the progress of the nation. This will help in inducing the positive spirit and co-operation among all. We all would be familiar with the proverb that “United we stand, divided we fall”. Togetherness and brotherhood give us more strength to do our best.

The Wicked Motive of Political Parties – Politicians and different political parties are the most involved groups responsible for promoting casteism, discrimination on every ground are politicians. They are successful in winning the conscience of people for their own benefit and divide them on the basis of caste, religion, and sex. In my opinion, we must consider those people as our leaders who are really working for the nation and stop ourselves from falling into the trap of clever politicians. This will also help in reducing the equality difference in the society.

Equality in making India an Independent Nation – Inequality has been a bane for us in past also. This was only the factor that made the Britishers come and rule for such a long period of time in our nation. They took the benefit of the existing inequality differences in the nation. They applied the policy of “Divide and Rule” and were successful in their motive. Later this supremacy and rule came to an end in form of independence of India. This was the result of the unity that was fostered by equality. As everyone’s motive at that time was getting independence. In the same way, if the goal of every person in the nation is success and happiness then it would be a great step for instilling equality in every aspect throughout the nation. I greatly dream of making India a most prosperous nation.

Justice for All Irrespective of Any Ground

If we throw light on the present scenario of India in terms of Justice, the result is very saddening. Every now and then several disgusting crimes like rapes, murders, thefts, etc. are taking place. The judiciary system in the nation is very weak and slow in giving judgment and punishments. Numerous case files are not opened for years and criminals roam freely.

In many cases, wrong people are winning by applying their tactics of power and money. I wish for a nation that is free from every type of criminal activity. People would not feel scared in the nation and girls can feel safe in going anywhere. This can only happen when there is proper justice for all irrespective of any differences.

Why ‘Justice and Equality for All’ is the Most Relevant Factors in India of My Dreams?

Equality is the most important factor that is required by a nation to be a successful one. India of my dreams will always be a nation that would excel in every field. According to me, if every people in the nation are treated equally without any discrimination, they can do their best. This will enhance the team spirit and co-operation in working. Instead of jealousy and fights, the feeling of healthy competition will prevail in the nation.

A nation is known because of its people. Therefore when people of the nation will excel, it will directly lead to the development and progress of the nation. Secondly, justice is necessary for reducing the fear in people for doing anything. Proper justice will also be helpful in reducing the crime rates as the criminals would be punished for their heinous acts. Thus, equality and justice are the most relevant factors in making India the nation of my dreams.

I dream of a flourishing India that is free from any kind of differences, crime, and fear. Equality and Justice will help in the ending of differences and promoting education, end of corruption for everyone in the nation.
