The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the application deadline for IGNOU July 2022 session. As per the official reports, aspirants can register for IGNOU July 2022 admission cycle till October 31. The admission process for certificate and semester-based programmes is closed for July 2022 admission cycle . The candidates can apply online for the undergraduate, postgraduate programmes on the official website of the university at ignou.ac.in.

IGNOU has extended the July admission 2022 registration process multiple times this year. The application process was scheduled to be closed on October 27 which has been now extended to October 31, 2022. Aspiring candidates should thoroughly read the admission prospectus before filling the online application. In order to apply for the IGNOU UG and PG programmes online, candidates need to upload scanned copies of their photograph, signature, age proof, relevant educational qualification, copy of experience certificate, category certificate (if any), and copy of BPL certificate (if any) are required at the time of applying online.

IGNOU July Admissions 2022: Application deadline ends today, check steps to apply 

Along with the July 2022 Admission, IGNOU has extended the December Term End Examination (TEE) 2022 registration too.

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will end the online registration process for July session 2022 admission today, 7 November. Candidates seeking admission to the undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programmes can apply for the IGNOU July 2022 session on the official website of IGNOU at  ignou.ac.in  and  ignouiop.samarth.edu.in . The registration link for IGNOU July admission 2022 is currently active for both online and Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode, except for certificate and semester-based programmes. While registering for the IGNOU online programmes, candidates will have to upload scanned images of relevant educational qualifications, photograph, signature, age proof, category certificate (if any), copy of experience certificate, and copy of BPL certificate (if any).

Previously, the last date for online registration for the July 2022 admission session was 31 October 2022. Then, it got extended till 7 November 2022. This year, IGNOU has extended the application deadline for July admission 2022 multiple times. Along with the July Admission, the university has extended the IGNOU December Term End Examination (TEE) 2022 registration. As per the revised dates, the deadline for the IGNOU December TEE is 10 November 2022.

• Visit the official site of IGNOU .
• Search and click on “Fresh Admission for PG and UG Programme, both for Online and ODL mode (except certificate and semester-based Programme) has been extended till 7th November 2022.”
• As the new page opens, candidates will have to log in using the correct details. Once the online application is filled out correctly submit the form as asked.
• Save and download the IGNOU July session Admission 2022 form.
• Keep a printout of the IGNOU July Admission 2022 for further reference.

• If you are a first time applicant you are advised to click the available programme tab on the homepage of the Online Admission System and select the desired programme and carefully read the details of programme including eligibility criteria, fee details, duration, etc.

Please provide your own email and mobile number at the time of registration.

• Remember, while choosing your UserName it must be between 8 to 16 characters.
• While choosing your password it must be alphanumeric and between 8 to 16 characters long.
• After filling the mandatory information click the "SUBMIT" button.
• Your username will be instantly sent to you via e-mail and SMS.
• Remember your Username and Password for subsequent login.
• If you have already registered i.e you are an existing user click the "LOGIN" button.
• Scanned Photograph (less than 100 KB)
• Scanned Signature (less than 100 KB)
• Scanned copy of relevant Educational Qualification (less than 200 KB)
• Scanned Copy of Experience Certificate (if any) (less than 200 KB)
• Scanned Copy of Category Certificate, if SC/ST/OBC (less than 200 KB)

• It is necessary to scan documents from your originals . Once you have uploaded the document, click the next button you will get the Form preview option. Save/Print your form for future reference.
• Please fill up the details carefully. If you are using the services of a cybercafe to fill up your form, plesae make sure that details are correctly filled up and the relevant documents are uploaded as prescribed. 

Registration fee, Cancellation of Admission and Refund of Fee

• The Registration Fee is non-refundable.
• The fee paid shall be refunded prior to confirmation of admission.
• An amount equivalent to 15% of the programme fee, subject to a ceiling of Rs.2,000/-, will be deducted from the fee paid in case the request for cancellation is received after the confirmation of admission.
• In case a student has opted for soft copy of the study material, the fee paid will be refunded after deducting the Registration fee only.
• If a request for cancellation is received from a student who has availed fee exemption and has paid only the Registration fee and Development fee, only the Development fee will be refunded.
• No Refund of fee will be admissible after 60 days of the closing date of the admissions.

The IGNOU has released the guidelines that students must comply while preparing and submitting their assignments. Here are the updated guidelines:

All the assignment should be hand written.

Students must use A4 ruled paper (unless it is instructed on your TMA).

Leave 4 cm margin on left and right side of each page.

Do not use staplers, to bind the pages; you use need threads (what is typically found with cover files).

Avoid using any ink colour other than blue and black.

First you need to attach the cover page (You will find it at your study centre).

Then, attach a photocopy of your IGNOU ID card.

After that, attach a copy of your TMA (question paper on your assignment document).

Lastly, attach your hand written answers.

Leave one blank page in the end.

Do not use any files while submitting your assignments. Your assignment should only consist of the pages, tied with a thread.

You must take a submission receipt, which will be stamped by the study centre with submission dates. In case, your study centre is unable to provide you one, take a photocopy of the cover page of your assignment and get that stamped.

Note: For submission of practicals, you need to use a cover file.

Do not forget to get the slips signed by the HOD after the submission of the assignment. Candidates have to write the name of the IGNOU courses for which they have submitted the assignment, their enrolment number and date of submission. Candidates are advised to preserve this slip for future references.

Candidates must also get the photocopies of their submitted IGNOU assignments attested by the study centre.

Once candidates have submitted their assignments to IGNOU study centre, the evaluation process by IGNOU evaluators begins. It usually takes three or four weeks for the marks and status of their assignments to be updated. Therefore, students are advised to wait for a few weeks before they check their assignment marks and status online.

Once assignments have been submitted through any of the available methods before the last date of IGNOU assignment submission, they are sent to the evaluator of the study centre or regional centre for assessment. Upon successful evaluation, the evaluator will either upload the marks directly to the IGNOU site or send them to IGNOU Delhi for online updating. Afterwards, students can view the assignment submission status IGNOU, IGNOU assignment marks check, grades and results of their assignments on the website. Generally, IGNOU assignment marks are uploaded and updated within 40 days of submission to the relevant study or regional centre.

IGNOU Admission 2024-25: Today Indira Gandhi National Open University has started the admission process for the July 2024-25 academic cycle. Those students who want to be admitted to any Master’s, Bachelor’s, Postgraduate Diploma, Diploma Certificate or any other course through its ODL and Online learning mode can apply by visiting the official admission portal @ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in . The last date to apply for IGNOU Admission in the July session is 30 June 2024 . The application form for all courses is INR 300 .

In the July session, IGNOU is offering various UG and PG courses through the Online and ODL modes of learning. Students can choose any of the modes according to their convenience.  Popular courses offered by IGNOU include BA, BBA, BCA, B.Com, MA, M.Com, MBA, and PGDCA.  For UG programs, students need to pass 10+2 classes with a minimum of 50% marks in a relevant subject, and for PG programs, a graduation degree from a recognized college is required. Some programs may have entrance tests. IGNOU provides study materials post-admission.

At IGNOU, students can also apply for scholarships provided by the Government of India at the National Scholarship Portal @scholarships.gov.in to support their academic careers.

IGNOU Admission 2024-25 Notices

• July 2024 Admissions:  IGNOU has begun the admissions for the July 2024 session. The registrations are available for various UG, PG, PG Diploma, Diploma and Certificate programmes. The registrations are open from  May 15, 2024, with a deadline of 30 June 2024 .

IGNOU BA Admission July 2024-25

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU)’s School of Social Sciences offers a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree program. It is a Three or Four comprehensive distance learning course designed to give students a broad-based education in the domain of arts and humanities. The syllabus comprises an array of subjects such as history, sociology, economics, political science, and literature. To apply for the BA program, a student should have cleared his/her 10+2 or its corresponding qualification. The total program fee for the BA (General) is Rs. 7,200/-.

IGNOU BCA Admission July 2024-25

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) applications for the Bachelor of Computer Applications program are invited for the academic year 2024-25. The BCA program has a minimum duration of three years and a maximum of six years. The course fee for BCA is INR 40,200, students are required to pay the fee semester-wise at the rate of Rs. 6,700 per semester. No age restriction has been defined for the program and the minimum required qualification is 10+2 or its equivalent qualification. 

IGNOU BSc Admission July 2024-25

Indira Gandhi National Open University offers the BSc program which can vary from three to six years and has a program fee of Rs. 12,500. No age limit has been defined for the program and people who are looking forward to a 10+2 qualification in Science or its parallel education are eligible for entrance. Please note that IGNOU BSc has been offered since January 2019, however, re-registration for the second and third years is Rs. 4,500 per year. The last date for IGNOU BEd Admission 2024 was 03 January 2024 . Indira Gandhi National Open University provides the BEd course through the DDE mode to people who wish to pursue the course while pursuing another course or are doing a job somewhere. Interested individuals have to take the university’s entrance examination to get admitted to the BEd course. IGNOU June 2024 TEE: Assignment submission deadline extended till May 31

Ignou assignment's last date 2024 has been extended for odl and online programmes for the june tee session. the university will now accept assignments (both hard copy and soft copy) till may 31, 2024..

IGNOU TEE assignment submission 2024: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the assignment submission last date for ODL and online courses. Now, students can submit their assignments both in soft and hard copies by May 31.

Candidates enrolled in ODL, online programmes, GOAL, and EVBB for the June 2024 TEE can submit their projects, dissertations, practical files, and internship reports online at the official website – ignou.ac.in,  the open university said in an official notification.

However, students are suggested to submit the assignment before the last date to avoid last minute rush. Students must note that the IGNOU assignment submission last date 2024 is common for all programmes irrespective of admission year, mode or programme. 

Candidates are required to attach a copy of the fee receipt with the project report at the time of submission of hardcopy or by uploading it to the online portal. 

IGNOU June TEE 2024: Steps for assignment submission

Step 1: Go to the official website – ignou.ac.in

Step 2: Navigate to the assignment submission link available on the homepage

Step 3: Login using the necessary credentials in the designated field

Step 4: Upload the scanned assignment with the respective code

Step 5: Submit the assignment

Step 6: Students are advised to take a screenshot of the assignment submission receipt for further reference

“With the approval of the competent authority, the last date for submission of assignments (both in hard copy and soft copy) for term end examination, June 2024 for both ODL and online programmes, GOAL and EVBB has been extended up to May 31,” read the notification. 

The IGNOU has stared the fresh admission cycle for undergraduate, postgraduate, and other programmes for the July 24 academic year. The last date to apply for the various programmes at IGNOU is June 30. The university offers certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas, postgraduate diplomas, and degrees. The University is offering more than 290 UG, PG, PG diploma, diploma, certificate and awareness programmes through ODL and online mode.

The university offers certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas, postgraduate diplomas, and degrees.

The open and distance learning modes of the university consist of a range of courses that belong to the arts, commerce, management, science, social sciences, languages, fashion, tourism, information technology, and many other fields.

Candidates must have completed 10+2 from a recognised educational board with a minimum of 50 per cent marks to be eligible to apply for the course. Similarly, for postgraduate courses, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50 per cent marks from any recognised university in a relevant stream.
