Are you looking for a resource to accompany your place value lessons? Year 5 students not only need to know how to round and represent decimals in different ways, but they also learn how to compare and order these numbers. With this place value worksheet, students will practise using number lines to compare decimals to the thousandths place. Students will also use different tables to answer questions and justify their answers through a written response.

This worksheet is a great way for children to practise comparing numbers with up to three decimal places. In the first activity, they will use their understanding of place value to write numbers in the correct row of the table provided. They will then sort numbers into a Venn diagram and a place value grid.
