My Favourite Season Autumn Essay

During the rainy season, the sky remains overcast with clouds. Rains fall continually. But, with autumn, the clouds are no more. A deep blue sky spreads, like a deep blue sea. The white patches of clouds float like little fairy boats.

The day looks golden with the sun shining. The night has a silvery moon, with its silvery luster. The millions of stars, too, sparkle. Now and then, rain begins to fall thick and fast. But then suddenly the rain stops and, again, a deep blue sky smiles. In autumn, the rivers are full to the brim. The fields are all green and golden with crops. Men and women are busy among them, reaping the harvest. Nature and man seem to unite in one mood of peaceful gladness. Autumn is my favourite season.

Feature image of Short Essay on My Favourite Season

My favourite season of the year is summer. It begins in April and ends in June. During the summer season, days are long and nights are short. The skies are clear and the sun is bright. We get month-long summer vacation and can stay at home with our parents and family without having to worry about school. We usually go to visit our grandparents in the village during the summer season.

In the village, I get the opportunity to play with the neighbourhood kids in mango and guava orchards that surround my grandparents’ place. They teach me new games and I always have a great time with them. Summer is also the season of mangoes. We get to eat so many varieties of juicy, delicious mangoes.

My favourite season of the year is winter. The Winter months are very cold as the temperature drops low. It also snows in the northern, high-altitude parts of the country. We wear a lot of warm clothes and eat hot foods to keep us warm. Our metabolism increases during the winter season and thus, we can eat a lot of delicious food. Hot drinks like tea, coffee and hot chocolate are also welcomed.

During the winter season, we usually go on a week-long vacation to hill stations to enjoy the snow. I make snowmen with my parents and siblings and go ice staking as well. There, at night, we create small bonfires to warm ourselves and chit-chat with each other. Winter is also the season of festivities as we celebrate Diwali, Christmas and New Year in winter.

My mother always bakes cakes for us on Christmas and they are warm and delicious. When I don’t have school, I like staying in bed covered in a thick quilt and reading my favourite storybooks. I also go out to play cricket and badminton with my friends every afternoon as it warms my body and keeps me active. Due to the cold weather, we don’t sweat much and can play for a long time. Because of all these reasons, I like the winter season.

Out of the four predominant seasons, my favourite is the monsoon or the rainy season. It starts to rain heavily all over the country by July. As it rains, the water washes away all the dust from plants and trees, making them look green and beautiful again. As the rain hits the dried-up ground, the smell of wet earth fills the atmosphere and makes our hearts dance.

New seedlings begin to sprout and grasses and plants begin to grow all around us. Our surroundings are covered in green and look very mesmerising. As India is an agricultural country, the rainy season is very important for us. Rains irrigate fields and help crops grow. Without rain, most of our major crops will fail, causing loss of business and even starvation. As my grandparents and uncles are farmers, I have experienced the joy that the rainy season brings to farmers very closely.

I also like the rainy season because when it rains heavily, I do not need to go to school. Sometimes, even my parents take leave and then our whole family gets to enjoy the day together. My mother makes delicious fritters with tea which we enjoy while playing board games like ludo and carrom. My father is very fond of flowering plants and we have a lot of plants in our garden. During the rainy season, our garden looks majestic with hundreds of blooming flowers in many different colours.

My friends often come over to my house and we enjoy playing in the garden when the rain stops. We make paper boats and put them in water puddles. Sometimes, we also compete to see whose boat would go farther. Sometimes our parents allow us to go outside when it is raining and then, we enjoy jumping in puddles, getting drenched and playing in rain. It is very fun to play in the rain. After that, my mother makes hot soup for us to warm us up.

When it rains at night and electricity is cut, we get to enjoy our food in candlelight. After dinner, we go straight to bed and tell each other ghost stories. I and my siblings always try to scare each other. When it rains for days, I like to sit by the window and read my favourite books while watching the rain. The rainy season is very special for me and when it ends in September, I wish for it to come quickly next year.

Essay on Winter Season (500 Words)

Winter, the season of transformation and introspection, graces us with its presence from December to March. As the world around us undergoes a metamorphosis, we, too, experience the subtle changes that this season brings. The chill in the air, the warmth of companionship, and the promise of renewal – winter encompasses all of this and more.

The heart of winter lies in the months of December and January when temperatures plummet to their lowest. The northern regions experience a sharp drop in temperature, often reaching as low as 10 to 15 degrees Celsius. During this time, the landscape is covered in a blanket of snow, turning ordinary scenes into captivating vistas. Hilly areas, in particular, exude an otherworldly charm as they don a white coat of snow that glistens in the sunlight.

Beyond the festivities, winter also offers opportunities for outdoor activities that are unique to this season. Skiing, ice skating, and building snowmen are not just recreational pursuits but a way to connect with the enchanting winter landscape. Schools close for winter vacations, giving children the chance to engage in snowball fights, sledging, and making snow angels.

However, it’s important to remember that winter isn’t just about the external changes; it’s also about the changes within ourselves. The season encourages introspection and self-care. Just as trees shed their leaves, we can let go of what no longer serves us, paving the way for personal growth. The stillness of winter allows us to dive deep within and explore our inner landscapes.

In conclusion, the winter season is a symphony of contrasts – the cold and the warmth, the stillness and the celebrations. It’s a reminder that life is a cycle, and every season has its own beauty and significance. Short Essay On My Favourite Season

Of all the seasons, my favorite is summer. There are many reasons why I love summer and why it is my favorite season. This essay will explore some of the reasons why summer is my favorite season.

One of the main reasons why I love summer is the warm weather. After a long and cold winter, nothing feels better than soaking up the sun and feeling the warmth on your skin. The warm weather allows me to be outside, enjoying all the outdoor activities that summer has to offer. Whether it’s going for a swim, playing sports, or just relaxing on the beach, summer is the perfect time to be outside.

Another reason why I love summer is the long days. During the summer, the days are longer and the nights are shorter, which means there is more time to spend outside and to enjoy all the outdoor activities. This is especially great for kids, as they can play outside for longer periods of time, exploring and discovering all that summer has to offer.

Summer is also a time for vacations and traveling. It is a time to take a break from the daily routine and to explore new places, meet new people, and try new things. Whether it’s a trip to the beach, a camping trip, or a road trip, summer is the perfect time to escape the daily grind and enjoy some much-needed time off.

Finally, summer is also a time for festivals and fairs. From county fairs to music festivals, summer is the time to get out and enjoy all the festivities. Whether you’re into food, music, or just having fun, there is something for everyone during the summer.

In conclusion, summer is my favorite season for many reasons. From the warm weather to the long days, the vacations to the festivals, summer is a time for fun, relaxation, and adventure. Whether you’re young or old, there is something for everyone during the summer and that is why it is my favorite season.

Long Essay On My Favourite Season

As the seasons come and go, it’s hard not to have a favorite. Whether it’s the warm summer months or the crisp chill of winter, each season brings something special with it. But for me, there is one season in particular that stands out above the rest: autumn. From the changing colors of nature to the feeling of cozy warmth from a cup of hot chocolate, this article will explore why autumn is my favorite season.

Introduction

My favourite season is spring. I love the warmer weather and the longer days. This is the time of year when the natural world comes alive after a long winter. The trees and flowers start to bloom, and the birds start to sing. There is something special about this time of year that just makes me feel good.

I also enjoy the extra daylight in springtime. I can go for a walk after work or take my dog for a run in the park without worrying about it getting dark. And, of course, there are all the public holidays in spring like Easter and Anzac Day.

So, what’s not to love about spring? For me, it’s simply the best time of year.

Definition of a Season

The four seasons are winter, spring, summer, and fall. Winter is the coldest season of the year, while summer is the warmest. Spring and fall are considered to be transition seasons. Each season has its own characteristics that make it unique.

Winter is typically associated with snow and ice. The days are shorter and the nights are longer. The weather is usually colder and there is often a chill in the air. Spring is a time of new beginnings. The days become warmer and the flowers start to bloom. The trees begin to turn green as the leaves start to grow back. Summer is the hottest season of the year. The days are long and the nights are short. The weather is usually very hot and humid. Fall is a time of change. The leaves on the trees begin to change color and eventually fall off. The days become shorter and the nights become longer.

Reasons why Summer is My Favourite Season

Summer is my favourite season because the weather is perfect for outdoor activities, the days are longer so you can enjoy more time outside, and there are always fun events happening.

I love spending time outdoors in the summertime, whether I’m going for a hike or just relaxing in my backyard. The warm weather is perfect for being active, and I always feel so refreshed after spending time in the sunshine. There are also so many fun events that happen in the summer, like music festivals and farmers markets. I always feel like there’s something exciting to do during summer months.

Overall, I just love everything about summertime! It’s definitely my favourite season of the year.

– Weather and Climate

There are mainly three seasons in India. Winter, summer and the monsoon. I like all the three seasons but I love summer the most. It is my favourite season.

The weather during the summer months is very hot and dry. The sun shines brightly for most of the day and there is very little rainfall. However, despite the heat, I enjoy spending time outdoors in the summer months. There are a number of reasons why summer is my favourite season.

Firstly, I love the long sunny days. I can spend hours outside in the sun without feeling tired or bored. Secondly, I love eating ice cream and other cold drinks to cool down in the heat. Thirdly, I get to go on holidays with my family during the summer break. We usually travel to a hill station or go camping in the mountains. Lastly, I enjoy playing sports such as cricket and tennis in the summer months.

So these are a few reasons why summer is my favourite season. What about you? What is your favourite season?

– Outdoor Activities

Outdoor activities are so much fun in the springtime! The weather is warm but not too hot, and there’s a refreshing breeze that makes everything feel new again. Here are some of our favorite things to do outdoors in the spring:

• Go on a nature walk – Spring is a great time to get outside and appreciate all the natural beauty around us. Take a leisurely stroll through your neighborhood or a nearby park, and take in all the sights and sounds of nature coming back to life.

• Have a picnic – There’s nothing quite like enjoying a meal outdoors on a beautiful spring day. Spread out a blanket in your backyard or at your local park, and enjoy some quality time with family or friends while you feast on delicious food and drink.

• Plant something – Whether you have a green thumb or not, planting something in the springtime is always satisfying. If you’re not into gardening, try planting some flowers in pots on your porch or balcony. Or, plant some veggies in a small plot of land if you’re feeling ambitious!

• Go for a bike ride – Exploring your town or city by bike is such a great way to get some exercise while also taking in all the sights. Spring is the perfect time to dust off your bicycle and hit the road!

– Festivities and Celebrations

When it comes to festive seasons and celebrations, there is no better time than spring. This is the season when nature comes alive after a long winter sleep, and people can finally enjoy some warmer weather. There are many different festivals and celebrations that take place during spring, so there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Some of the most popular spring festivals include Easter, which is celebrated by Christians all over the world, and Passover, which is celebrated by Jewish people. Both of these holidays have religious significance, but they are also enjoyed by many people who do not follow any particular faith. Other popular spring festivals include May Day and Beltane.

May Day is a traditional festival that celebrates the start of summer. It is often observed with maypole dancing and other fun activities. Beltane is another ancient festival that was originally celebrated by pagans. It marks the beginning of summer and the end of winter, and it is usually celebrated with bonfires and other festivities.

Whether you are looking for religious or secular celebrations, there is sure to be something going on during springtime that you will enjoy. So get out there and celebrate the arrival of warmer weather!

In conclusion, my favourite season is winter. There are so many things to love about the cold, crisp air and snow-covered landscapes that make it a special time of year. From skiing down a mountain to sipping hot cocoa by the fire, winter activities bring me joy and provide me with memories I will never forget. While other seasons have their own advantages, nothing beats the feeling of Winter for me!

Essay on Seasons

Essay on seasons

The world is very vast and every part of it has a different climate. However, the most prominent seasons are summer, winter and rainy seasons.

Different parts of the world experience different seasons at different times of the year.

Seasons change according to the earth’s revolution around the sun. During the year. as the earth revolves around the sun some parts of the earth face the sun and receive more heat energy from the sun. Hence, these parts of the earth experience summer. At the same time, the parts of the earth which are not facing the sun receive less heat energy, hence, experience winter. That is why at a given point in time, some part of world experience summer and some winter.

Some parts of the world do not get very cold, mostly because of the influence of the sea. As the winter starts fading away and the heat begins to intensify, people pack up their woolens. Out come the sun shades, umbrellas and cotton clothes. Sale of ice creams and soft drinks becomes a regular feature during scorching summers.

Between winter and summer seasons, there is a short period called ‘spring’. When springs set in, flowers burst into bloom and the earth seems to be smiling. During the rainy season, raincoats and umbrellas are constant companions. As the showers fade away, once again winter sets in. Thus, goes on the season’s cycle.

We enjoy each season with its fruits, festivals, and weather.

Title: Winter Season – Embracing the Beauty and Challenges of the Chilly Months

Introduction :

Winter, one of the four seasons, is a time of the year that brings a distinct change in weather and scenery. Lasting from December to February in most parts of the world, winter is known for its cold temperatures, shorter days, and unique charm that captures the hearts of many. The season offers a delightful respite from the scorching heat of summer and creates an environment of tranquility and serenity. From snow-covered landscapes to cozy evenings by the fireplace, winter evokes a sense of nostalgia, joy, and warmth.

The Beauty of Winter

Winter transforms the world into a picturesque wonderland. Trees shed their leaves, revealing bare branches that dance against the pale winter sky. Snowflakes gently descend from above, painting the ground in a pristine white layer, turning even the most ordinary landscapes into scenes of ethereal beauty. The sight of snow-covered mountains, frozen lakes, and frost-kissed foliage fills our hearts with awe and wonder.

Winter also brings a unique kind of silence. The stillness in the air, broken only by the soft crunch of snow beneath our feet, offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It provides an opportunity to slow down, reflect, and appreciate the simple pleasures of life.

Outdoor Activities

Despite the cold temperatures, winter entices people to engage in a variety of outdoor activities. Winter sports such as skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, and sledding become popular pastimes. The thrill of gliding down a snowy slope or gracefully skating across an icy rink brings immense joy and exhilaration. Families and friends gather to build snowmen, have snowball fights, and create snow angels, fostering bonds and creating lasting memories.

Winter also offers the perfect opportunity for nature enthusiasts to explore the beauty of the season. Hiking through snow-covered trails or taking peaceful walks in the crisp winter air allows us to appreciate nature in its most serene state. Birdwatching becomes an exciting activity as migratory birds visit different regions, adding splashes of color to the otherwise white landscape.

Festivals and Celebrations

Winter is a season of festivities and celebrations. The holiday season, with Christmas and New Year’s Eve at its core, brings families and friends together to celebrate love, joy, and togetherness. Homes are adorned with sparkling lights, beautifully decorated Christmas trees, and the aroma of delicious food fills the air. It is a time for exchanging gifts, singing carols, and spreading goodwill.

Winter is also marked by cultural and religious celebrations around the world. Diwali, the Festival of Lights in India, is celebrated with grandeur, illuminating homes and streets with earthen lamps and vibrant decorations. Hanukkah, the Jewish festival, is a time of lighting the menorah and commemorating the miracle of the oil.

Challenges and Precautions

While winter brings enchantment and joy, it also presents its share of challenges. The plummeting temperatures demand that we take necessary precautions to stay warm and healthy. Proper clothing, including warm sweaters, jackets, scarves, and gloves, shields us from the biting cold. Layering clothing helps trap body heat and insulate us against the chilly winds.

Winter can also take a toll on our health. Cold and flu become common during this season, and it is important to practice good hygiene and boost our immune systems through a balanced diet, regular exercise, and adequate sleep. Additionally, staying hydrated is crucial, as we may not feel as thirsty during colder months.

Conclusion :

Winter is a season of beauty, tranquility, and celebration. It invites us to appreciate the marvels of nature and enjoy the warmth of relationships. From snow-covered landscapes to festive gatherings, winter offers a unique experience that captivates our senses and fills our hearts with joy. While the challenges of cold weather exist, they can be overcome with proper precautions. As we embrace the beauty and challenges of winter, let us cherish the moments it brings, creating memories that will warm our hearts for years to come.

There are a couple of disadvantages too this season. This season isn’t ideal for development. We don’t see a lot of yields developed in this season. Ranchers fizzle in cultivating in this season because of the absence of water and downpour. Despite the fact that carrots, cauliflower, onion, Spanish, radishes and so forth are developed in some sum. In the event that we can satisfy the necessity of water, Autumn is an excellent climate to develop. There is no hailstorm or snowfall in fall to obliterate crops.

The best thing we see all around is normal magnificence and satisfaction. We see a yellow climate in the town and wilderness regions. Trees get ready to develop new leaves, falling old leaves. Sensitivity and cold are some normal infections in pre-winter. We ought to know about climate change to be protected from infections. It’s hard to keep clean open spaces of our home and nursery in the fall. Trees normally fall leaves and the ground turns out to be brimming with leaves. Fall may make dust with tree leaves however then again, It gives an extremely alluring perspective of where tree leaves have assembled.

Taking everything into account, the Autumn season brings a great deal of energy and enthusiasm among individuals as it is the season to enjoy the wonders of nature. By and large, it is an exceptionally lovely season for its climate, celebration and air. No season can supplant the talented excellence of the fall season. The kids have a good time in pre-winter. They can move, play uninhibitedly without stressing over the climate. Cricket turns into the most famous outside game to play in the fall. Poor to rich, creatures to people, the fall season is love for all.

The 7 words Christopher Reeve’s wife said after he became paralyzed that ‘saved' his life

Christopher Reeve's powerful life story is being told in the new documentary "Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story."

The movie, directed by Ian Bonhôte and Peter Ettedgui, follows as Reeve finds fame playing Superman in the late 1970s and 1980s before a devastating 1995 horse riding accident caused him to be paralyzed from the neck down.

The indomitable actor, who died in October 2004 at age 52, spent the rest of his life working as a disability activist aimed at helping to find a cure for spinal cord injuries.

On Aug. 26, DC Studios released a trailer for the documentary, which features candid interviews with Reeve’s children, Matthew, Alexandra and Will, as well as footage of the actor with his late wife, Dana, who died in 2006 of lung cancer.

In one emotional moment in the trailer, Reeve, seen in footage, recalls how Dana's love helped him find his will to live again after his injury.

“I ruined my life and everybody else’s. I won’t be able to ski, sail, throw a ball to Will. Won’t be able to make love to Dana. Maybe we should let me go,” Reeve recalls thinking.

“And then she said the words that saved my life: ‘You’re still you. And I love you.’”

AAFA American Image Awards

Elsewhere in the trailer, Reeve’s kids share their memories of how athletic their father was before the accident as footage shows the actor playing tennis, swimming and riding horses.

“Doing things with my dad, it was all about activity and action,” Christopher recalls.

“Riding bikes, playing soccer, skiing,” Matthew adds.

“My dad was very competitive and he didn’t necessarily slow down,” Alexandria agrees.

Dana Morosini & Christopher Reeve At 'Awakenings'

In one heartbreaking moment, Matthew recalls being with his father before the accident, remembering, "We said goodbye and he gave this wave. That was the last time I saw him on his feet."

The movie also features interviews with some of Reeve's Hollywood friends, including Susan Sarandon, Whoopi Goldberg, Jeff Daniels and Glenn Close, while reflecting on the special bond Reeve shared with late actor Robin Williams.

"Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story" will air in select theaters on Sept. 21 and again on Sept. 25, in honor of Reeve’s birthday.

Out of season.

Summer’s coming to a close soon. You’re still, to some extent, in control of how you spend the time.

An illustration shows two raccoons playing in a small swimming pool.

By Melissa Kirsch

You are going to encounter people this weekend who will tell you that there’s one week left of summer. You don’t have to believe them. You don’t have to be one of them.

You can join me and the other equinoctials (do you think this term could catch on?) who live by the almanac. We’re not going gentle into our woolly cardigans until Sept. 22, the actual first day of fall. We’re savoring every last tomato, still sentimental about late sunsets, weirdly fond of that residual itch in a fading mosquito bite.

Every time summer turns to fall, I do this. I try to articulate to anyone who will indulge me why one time of year is better than another, to make a case for why light and warm is superior to dark and cold. It’s a losing game: I’m burning whatever daylight is left arguing for why the earth should revolve differently, powerless against nature. I feel like Werner Herzog in “Burden of Dreams,” railing at the jungle: “Even the stars up here in the sky look like a mess. There is no harmony in the universe.”

There is no harmony in the universe, so we try to create some with the calendar. Labor Day arrives and we shift gears, shift wardrobes and menus and mind-sets. Maybe our gaits get faster. Summer self is self-indulgent; fall self is all determination. Summer self puts things off and fall self gets things done. There’s a harmony and a rhythm to our seasonal incarnations that keeps things interesting, divides existence intomovements: adagio, andante, allegro.

“Transitions are hard,” a colleague said to me today. She was joking around, being melodramatic about how she’d just arrived at the office and needed a minute to collect herself before a meeting began. But the transition from summer to fall, as anyone who’s ever tried to get a child ready for the first day of school can tell you, can be a particularly challenging one. And it doesn’t necessarily get better when you’re decades removed from going to school yourself. Summer’s all potential, all expectation. The end of summer is, inevitably, some of that potential unrealized, some of those expectations unmet. A little mourning might be appropriate.

But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Whether you believe that summer’s finito in a week or that we’ve still got time, there’s this weekend to exploit. This weekend, late August, 2024, wherever you find yourself, however you find yourself. Will you be stocking up on school supplies? Dropping someone off at college? Will you spend the weekend hunting down the perfect peach? Maybe you’re working, or worrying, or lying in a hammock watching the clouds. What do you want to do? How do you want things to go? This weekend, like every weekend, you’ve got choices.

'Ted Lasso' Season 4 may be happening at Apple TV+, reports say

AFC Richmond may not have played its final match just yet.

A fourth season of " Ted Lasso " could be happening at Apple TV+, according to multiple reports. Warner Bros. Television has picked up the options on stars Hannah Waddingham , Brett Goldstein and Jeremy Swift, signaling the studio's intention to bring the actors back for another season, The Hollywood Reporter , Deadline , Variety and The Wrap reported. The trio starred as Rebecca Welton, Roy Kent and Leslie Higgins, respectively, in the acclaimed comedy about an American coach (Jason Sudeikis) hired to lead an English soccer team.

Deadline was the first to report the news.

While Season 4 of "Ted Lasso" has not officially been announced, the reports said Warner Bros. Television will reach out to the show's other stars next to make new deals. Sudeikis is believed to already be involved as an executive producer, Variety said. Production on Season 4 could begin in early 2025, Deadline and The Wrap reported.

USA TODAY has reached out to representatives for Apple TV+, Warner Bros. Television and Sudeikis for comment.

Join our Watch Party! Sign up to receive USA TODAY's movie and TV recommendations right in your inbox

The news came as a surprise, given that the final episode of "Ted Lasso" Season 3 was believed to be the show's last. In May 2023, the finale saw Jason Sudeikis ' title character leave AFC Richmond and go home to the United States, seemingly concluding his story.

Members of the "Ted Lasso" creative team had also said they envisioned the show as having a three-season arc.

15 inspirational ‘Ted Lasso’ quotes: Coaches, share these lines with your young athletes

"We've always meant it to be three seasons," producer and star Brendan Hunt previously told Entertainment Weekly . "I think it would be pretty cool if, in the face of how much everyone likes this show, that we stick to our guns and really just do three seasons. But even as committed to that idea as Jason may have been, none of us were prepared to the degree to which people love this show."

But Apple TV+ notably did not promote Season 3 as the show's last, and Sudeikis and his fellow producers were cagey about whether "Ted Lasso" was ending all the way up to the finale. When asked at the Emmys in 2022 whether Season 3 was the end, Sudeikis was evasive. "It's up to more factors than myself," he said.

Review: Don't worry, 'Ted Lasso' Season 3 will bring a bright light to your dark world

Earlier this month, co-creator Bill Lawrence told Collider that the future of the show was still up to Sudeikis .

"As fans, we'd all kill if it was going again, but everybody would say the same thing, which is: whatever Jason feels like doing and whatever his decision is, we're all down with it," he told the entertainment news site.

"Ted Lasso" premiered in 2020, the year after the launch of Apple TV+, and quickly became one of the streaming service's most acclaimed shows. It won two consecutive Emmys for best comedy series for its first and second seasons, with Sudeikis, Goldstein and Waddingham also receiving Emmys for their performances.

But critical response to the third season was more muted than the first two, with USA TODAY TV critic Kelly Lawler writing that the season suffered from "long, tedious episodes, poor characterization, bad plotting and a general lack of focus." Season 3 lost the best comedy series Emmy to the first season of " The Bear ."

Essence of Winter

During winters, schools usually take a break and close down. The days are shorter and the nights get longer. The chilly mornings give you a different sense altogether. Hot drinks like coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are enjoyed more during winters. The sun rises quite late and sometimes it does not.

Even when it does, it doesn’t get a bit hot. People long for a little sunshine as the cold weather sends chills down the spine. You see people on the roads burning woods and paper to get a little warmth. However, not many people prefer going out in winters. They like sitting by the fireplace or heater all day.

In the hilly areas, people experience snow during winters. They have to shovel it out of the way to make way for walking. The essence of winters is enhanced by Christmas as well. It sets the holiday mood for people and is admired all over the world.

But, there is also a downside of this season. The farmers, homeless people, and animals are most affected by this season. There is hardly any business in this season for farmers. Hundreds of homeless people die due to the harsh winters.

As the animals do not have proper shelter, they too lose their lives. In addition, many flights are also canceled during this season. Nonetheless, this does not make winter any less important. It is quite essential to maintain balance in the weather of our country.

Why I Love Winter?

I personally love winters. This season brings a lot of healthy fruits and vegetables. People get the chance to eat fresh grapes, apples, carrots, cauliflower, guava and more. Furthermore, so many beautiful flowers bloom during this season. These flowers include roses, dahlias and more. This makes winter even more beautiful than it already is.

Other than that, no lizards are to be found as they go in hibernation. This makes me very happy and lets me live fearlessly. Most importantly, winter mornings are the best part of this season for me. I like getting up early in winters and witnessing the morning dew on flowers. There is a different vibe altogether that comes with winters.

Also, our school organizes bonfire which is one of the most awaited events of the year.

In short, winter is as important as any other season. Sure, it may have its negative sides and positive sides, but that happens with every season. Winters helps you enjoy long morning walks and fresh air.
