Open PDF files in Foxit reader in fullscreen mode with fit page width

can we open pdf files in fullscreen in foxit reader wtih fit page width so that i dont have to press Ctrl+Numpad+ everytime to zoom in? Can this be done? Please Help.

• Don't know how to open them by default. But instead of using Ctrl+Numpad+ you can simply use the shortcut to fit pages by width that is Ctrl+3 –  aimbire Jun 13, 2013 at 12:04

Check for Default Zoom under Page Display in Foxit's Preferences.

I've just created an AutoHotkey script FoxItReader-tweaks.ahk that provides the following to shortcuts:

• F11: Views the PDF in full-width full screen.
• Left Ctrl-R: Reloads the current PDF document.

Keyboard Shortcuts and Single-key Accelerators

Customize keyboard shortcuts, check the default keyboard shortcuts, single-key accelerators, keyboard shortcuts.

There are number of keyboard shortcuts that you can use to speed up your navigation within Foxit PDF Reader. You can both use the default keyboard shortcuts and customize your own shortcuts.

To customize the keyboard shortcuts, please do as below:

• In the pop-up Customize Tools  dialog box, choose Keyboard  tab.
• Choose the command’s category in the Categories list and the action in the Command  list.

Note : The shortcut keys that have already being used cannot be reassigned. A message under the input tab will show you whether the shortcut key has been used by another command.

• (Optional) To remove the shortcut for a command, select the command from the Command  list, and click Remove . To revert all the keyboard shortcuts to the default settings, click Rest All .
• Click OK  to apply the settings and close the Customize Tools dialog box.

To check the default keyboard shortcuts, click Help  menu > Keyboard Mapping . Some particularly important ones are listed here:

Comment Keys

You can select some commands and perform some actions with single-key accelerators. To enable single-key accelerators, please choose File  in the Ribbon (or Foxit PDF Reader in the menu bar) > Preferences  > General , and check Use single-key accelerators to access tools  option in the Basic Tools group .

How to Present a PDF like a PowerPoint

With Adobe Acrobat Reader, you can present a regular PDF in similar fashion to a PowerPoint presentation.

Format presentation

• Under the "Edit" tab, click "Preferences".
• Under the "Full Screen Navigation" Section, you can loop the presentation by checking the "Loop after last page" option.
• You can also set the "speed" of the presentation with the "Advance every [ ] seconds" option.
• It is recommended to leave the "Escape key exits" option checked in order to quit the presentation early.

Present PDF

• Under the "View" tab, click "Full Screen Mode". This will start the presentation.
• In order to end the presentation before it's finished, press Esc .

Foxit Reader Night Mode

Enable night mode on foxit reader for windows pc.

• Launch the Foxit Reader on your Windows PC.
• Open a PDF file you like to read.
• Go to the View menu and look for the Night mode option.

• Click on the Night mode and that's it.
• Look for the "search bar" on top.
• Type 'Night mode' in the search field.

• You will get the 'Night Mode' feature in the search suggestion.
• Click on it to enable the dark theme.

Tip : You can disable night mode and revert the changes. Just click the 'Night Mode' option once again to get the light mode.

Enable Night Mode on Foxit Reader for Android/iOS

• Open the Foxit Reader app on your Android/iOS device.
• As usual open a PDF document.
• Tap on the View settings at the bottom.

• Choose the Night mode if you wish to read the pages in dark background with white text.
• Tap on the Day mode to get back to the default setting.
• You can also play around with choosing different background colors by tapping the Page Color button. Here, you will see different light colors to choose from. According to your mood, you can select the perfect color to read the e-book or document.

Option 1: Use PDF presentation mode.

If you use PDF presentation mode, you won’t have to convert your PDF and worry about formatting issues. You will also have preference options as you learn how to put a PDF in presentation mode. Follow these steps:

• Open your PDF in Adobe Acrobat .
• Select File > Preferences > Full Screen View to select options for your presentation.
• Select View > Full Screen.

The options will allow you to decide things like whether you will time your slides and which transitions you want between slides. You can also use a similar process with Preview on your Apple device.

How to present a PDF document

With Adobe Acrobat online services, it’s fast and easy to convert PDFs into PowerPoint presentations. Simply follow these three steps:
