250 Words Essay on Vacation With Family

Vacations with family hold a special place in our hearts, offering a unique blend of relaxation, bonding, and shared experiences. These moments are not just about escaping daily routines, but also about creating memories that last a lifetime.

The Importance of Family Vacations

Family vacations offer an unparalleled opportunity to strengthen bonds. The shared experiences, laughter, and even disagreements foster understanding and empathy, contributing to a more profound familial connection. They also provide a platform for parents to model adaptability and problem-solving skills to their children, thus helping them grow.

Creating Lifelong Memories

Family vacations are a treasure trove of memories. The joy of exploring new places, the thrill of trying different cuisines, or the serenity of watching a sunset together, all become part of our collective memory bank. These memories often become stories that are recounted at family gatherings, embedding themselves into the fabric of family history.

Education Beyond Textbooks

Family vacations are also an opportunity for experiential learning. Visiting historical sites, interacting with diverse cultures, or exploring nature’s wonders can supplement classroom knowledge, fostering a holistic understanding of the world.

In conclusion, vacations with family are more than just leisure activities. They serve as a catalyst for strengthening relationships, creating lasting memories, and fostering personal growth. 500 Words Essay on Vacation With Family

The essence of vacationing with family.

Vacationing with family is an experience that transcends the boundaries of mere enjoyment. It is a time of bonding, understanding, and creating memories that last a lifetime. It is an opportunity to escape the monotony of daily life, to explore new places, and to immerse ourselves in diverse cultures and experiences.

Learning and Growth

Family vacations serve as a platform for learning and growth. They provide a break from the structured learning environment of schools and colleges, offering a more experiential form of education. Visiting historical sites, for instance, can bring history lessons to life, making them more tangible and memorable. Similarly, interacting with people from different cultures can foster a sense of empathy and understanding that textbooks often fail to impart.

Strengthening Bonds

Vacations also play a crucial role in strengthening familial bonds. In today’s fast-paced world, quality family time is often sacrificed for work or academic commitments. A family vacation provides an opportunity to reconnect, to engage in shared activities, and to create shared memories. These experiences can foster a sense of unity and strengthen emotional connections, which are integral to maintaining healthy family relationships.

Creating Memories

The memories created during family vacations are invaluable. They serve as a repository of joy and nostalgia that can be revisited in times of distress or change. They remind us of our roots, of the love and support that our family offers, and of the adventures we’ve shared. These memories are not just snapshots of past vacations, but are part of our identity, shaping our perceptions and our understanding of our family and our place within it.

Building Resilience

Family vacations also help in building resilience. Travel often involves facing unexpected challenges – a missed flight, lost luggage, or a sudden change in plans. Navigating these challenges as a family can foster problem-solving skills, flexibility, and resilience. It teaches us to adapt, to remain calm in the face of adversity, and to work together towards a common goal.

In conclusion, vacationing with family is more than just a leisure activity. It is a multifaceted experience that promotes learning, strengthens bonds, creates enduring memories, and builds resilience. It is an investment in personal growth and familial relationships, yielding dividends that last a lifetime. As we navigate the complexities of adulthood, these vacations serve as a reminder of the simple joys of life and the comfort of family. They remind us that amidst the hustle and bustle of life, it is essential to pause, to explore, and to cherish the company of our loved ones.

Tips for Writing a "What I Did on Vacation" Essay

  • B.A., History, Armstrong State University

Are you required to write an essay about your summer vacation or your holiday break? This can be a tough assignment to tackle at first glance. But if you think about it, there are lots of interesting things that happen on your vacation that others might enjoy reading about. The key to success is to zero in on the experiences, people, or situations that made your vacation unique.

Summer vacation can be busy or lazy, funny or serious. You may have traveled with your family, worked every day, fallen in love, or coped with a difficult situation. To start your essay, you'll need to choose a topic and tone.

Family Vacation Essay Topic Ideas

If you traveled with your family, you may have some great stories to tell. After all, every family is crazy in its own way. Want some proof? How many Hollywood films have themes about family holidays or trips? Those films are popular because they enable us to glimpse inside the crazy family lives of others. Alternatively, you may have a more serious story to tell.

Consider these funny topics:

  • Why I'll Never Go Back to (insert place name)
  • How (insert name) Drove Me Crazy in Five Days
  • Traveling to (insert city) Then and Now
  • The Hazards of Traveling With a (person or thing)
  • Why You Shouldn't Take a Dog to (insert place)
  • I Left (insert city) But My (lost item) Stayed
  • Why I Couldn't Sleep in (place name)

If your family vacation involved something more serious, think about one of these topics:

  • The Love I Left Behind in (insert place)
  • Saying Good-Bye to (insert person or place)
  • Exploring (place's) Secrets
  • An Emotional Trip

Summer Job Essay Topic Ideas

Not everyone gets to spend the summer having fun; some of us have to work for a living. If you spent your summer at a job, chances are you met a lot of interesting characters, dealt with complicated situations, or even saved the day once or twice. Here are some ideas for summer job topics:

  • The Boss's Day Off
  • The Customer From Hell
  • What I Learned from My Customers
  • Why I'll Never Go Into the ___ Business
  • Six Things I Learned on the Job

How to Write the Essay

Once you've chosen your topic and your tone, think about the story you want to tell. In most cases, your essay will follow a typical story arc:

  • The hook (the funny, sad, or scary sentence that grabs the reader's attention)
  • The rising action (the beginning of your story)
  • The climax (the most exciting moment in your story)
  • The denouement (the aftermath or ending to your story)

Start by writing out the basic outline of your story. For example, "I started cleaning a guest's room and found that they'd left behind a wallet with $100 in cash. When I turned it in without taking a single dollar for myself, my boss rewarded me with a $100 gift certificate and a special award for honesty."

Next, start fleshing out the details. What was the room like? What was the guest like? What did the wallet look like and where was it left? Were you tempted to just take the money and turn in the wallet empty? How did your boss look when you handed her the wallet? How did you feel when you got your reward? How did others around you react to your honesty?

Once you've told your story in all its detail, it's time to write the hook and conclusion. What question or thought can you use to grab your reader's attention? For example: "What would you do if you found a wallet loaded with cash? That was my dilemma this summer."

Bali Island in Family Trip Experience Essay

Introduction.

Bali is an island off Indonesia’s archipelago. The culture of the people who inhabit this island and its unique natural beauty endear it to the hearts of holiday lovers who prefer life away from booming city life. Its geographical location makes it an ideal location for a vacation. Bali Island boasts of the worlds’ longest sandy beaches, blue warm waters, and crashing surf. The inhabitants of this island are warm and very receptive and it is no surprise that the island has been nicknamed ‘The Island of God in Paradise.’ This descriptive essay is going to capture the central role that Bali Island has played in bringing together my family (Herbst, 1997). We chose it as our number one vacation destination and it did pay dividends. The time we spent together as a family unit made us closer than ever before.

I know this is a matter of taste, but then, I normally ask my friends where they would love to spend their holidays. I receive many different answers, but certainly, for me, I would prefer a place that is comfortable, calm, and relaxing. Tranquility tops the list of my priorities.

The place should be a destination where I can get away from all my troubles and command the spectacular sights of the world’s nature, invoking my childhood memories. It should be a place that can disconnect me from the hustles and bustles of the world, reconnect with my inner self, and be able to meditate about my undertakings, thereby identifying my strengths and weaknesses. That is indeed Bali Island.

I have always harbored a thought of going with my entire family for a summer vacation and have kept corresponding with many travel agencies. However, it never occurred to me that summer was just a doorstep away and no substantive arrangements had been made. I had read many travel journals, all of which mentioned how wonderful Bali Island was for holiday lovers. I had no choice but to jump to that option. It was one chilly morning when my entire family boarded a taxi to JF Kennedy International Airport and chartered a plane to Jakarta, Indonesia.

The journey was supposed to take 30 hours but because of flight delays, we ended up reaching our destination four hours later. Fatigue weighed down on us but at least the following day we were on the beautiful sandy beaches of Bali Island. The horizon was dotted with beautiful blue seawaters waiting for the daybreak to begin. The deep blue sea was so expansive and dotted with happily looking holidaymakers. The breeze was so gentle and the sea tranquil.

This soothing atmosphere endeared me so much to this island. As the sun’s rays lit the horizons, it occurred to me that morning had arrived. As we gracefully worked along the Island’s sandy beaches barefooted, we could feel the soft sands that kept sinking under the siege of our weights. The tide kept on hitting the shores thereby splashing water on our sunburnt faces. It felt like taking a very cold shower in the scorching summer sun. Fatigue from the grueling journey gave way to a feeling of true happiness. As I set my foot into the waters, the coldness of the water embraced my feet. The day rushed to the end without us noticing and we could not wait for tomorrow.

Bali Island is an unrivaled vacation destination. The experiences that we went through made our family closer than ever before. The time we spent together, the candid discussion we had on those things that dog our family, and being able to forget all the troubles that you go through in everyday life makes it my number one destination.

Essay on Summer Vacation in 100 words

An incredible time to visit hilly destinations with family are holidays. They give an escape from the same monotonous life schedule. The summer season is an incredible time to have those stress free excursions and get in touch with nature which is nearly impossible in our daily schedules for the whole year. I visited my grandparents last year and stayed with them for two weeks. In contrast with the word summer, the cool thing about summer vacations is discovering new trails, creating new things, etc. During my stay with my grandparents, I also read novels and other books that helped me expand my knowledge of the world. For the remainder of the vacation days, I spent them playing games and cooking my favourite dishes.

Essays on Summer Vacation: 200 Words Sample

Summer is a time to bask in the warmth of the sun, explore new horizons, and create lasting memories.

During this break, I embarked on a journey of relaxation and adventure. I had the opportunity to visit the serene beaches of a coastal town. The soothing sound of waves and the gentle caress of the sea breeze offered a perfect escape from the bustling city life. The sand between my toes and the sun kissing my skin provided a sense of tranquillity.

Holidays are an amazing time for us to visit hill stations with family. The summer season is a great time for us to take stress-free trips and get to trek in nature, which we aren’t able to do in our busy schedules for the entire year. Last year I visited my grandparents and stayed with them for 20 days. The best thing about the summer holidays is creating and discovering new things in the village. While enjoying my stay, I also learned some new things that expanded my knowledge. I spent the rest of the summer holidays playing board and video games and cooking under my mother’s supervision.

As the summer days slowly waned, a sense of nostalgia crept in. The memories and lessons from this summer vacation will continue to shape my journey as I return to the world of academics with renewed vigour and a heart full of gratitude.

Essays on Summer Vacation: 400 Words Sample

Summer vacation, that much-awaited break from the mundane routines of school and study, is a time of rejuvenation, exploration, and personal growth. It offers the perfect opportunity to unwind, reflect, and create lasting memories.

A Journey of Self-Introspection

During this past summer vacation, I embarked on a journey of self-discovery and adventure. The journey began with a sense of anticipation and excitement, as I bid adieu to textbooks and classrooms. My destination was a coastal paradise, where golden sands met the azure sea. The tranquil rhythm of the waves provided a serene backdrop for relaxation, reflection, and renewal.

The break also provided ample time for cultural exploration. I wandered through quaint streets, explored historical sites, and engaged with locals to gain insights into their way of life. Trying local cuisine became a delightful adventure in itself, as I savoured flavours that were a symphony of tradition and innovation.

Amidst exploration, I found time to reconnect with my family. Shared laughter, deep conversations, and moments of camaraderie became the heart of the vacation. We hiked through lush trails, picnicked in meadows, and watched sunsets that painted the sky in hues of orange and pink. These experiences solidified the bonds that make family the cornerstone of our lives.

Beyond leisure, the vacation allowed for personal growth. I pursued hobbies I had set aside during the academic year, from painting to playing musical instruments. I also volunteered with a local community organization, an experience that not only gave me a sense of purpose but also introduced me to remarkable individuals and stories.

As the vacation drew to a close, a sense of nostalgia settled in. The days had flown by, leaving behind memories etched in the sands of time. The journey, both physical and introspective, had transformed me. I returned with a newfound appreciation for the beauty of the world, the importance of relationships, and the significance of taking breaks to recharge.

In Conclusion

A summer vacation is more than just a break from school; it’s a transformative experience that encompasses relaxation, exploration, and growth. It’s a canvas upon which we paint our memories, our passions, and our connections. As I stepped back into the world of academics, I carried with me the lessons and experiences of this summer, poised to embrace the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.

The Unforgettable Vacation with my Family

How it works

My family and I had been preparing and waiting for this to happen and I was extremely excited to be leaving the next day. The thought of being so far away from home occupied most of my time. I was eager to leave the country and finally see my family again. The awaited day was finally here; a day I was going to experience a new adventure. My mom woke me up exceptionally early because she didn’t want us to miss our flight.

As a result, we didn’t have time for a full breakfast and had to get ready immediately. My mom was double-checking everything – the tickets, passports, and everything else we needed for our trip. We arrived at SFO around 8:30 a.m., and our flight was at 10:30 a.m., which gave us about two hours to get to our gate. Upon arrival, we checked three enormous bags and went through airport security. We reached the gate just in time to board the airplane. Five long and monotonous hours later, we were in Chicago. Everyone was tired and dreading the forthcoming nine-hour flight. The first thing we did on arrival was search for a place to eat. With limited choices, we decided on McDonald’s so that we wouldn’t go hungry. Soon after eating, we made our way to the next gate.

Upon reaching our gate, we had to wait a while because of a delay due to the weather, but it didn’t bother us too much. We finally boarded the plane around 10 p.m. and we were exhausted. I couldn’t wait to lay back and watch TV. As expected, I watched a multitude of movies until my eyes couldn’t stay open any longer. I finally fell asleep and woke up to the hot sun shining in my eyes. With great enthusiasm, I anticipated landing. In about half an hour, I took my first steps in São Paulo, Brazil. My excitement knew no bounds as I saw my uncle who had come to pick us up. The city was beautiful. It was extremely tropical with palm trees outside, hot weather, and a bustling crowd. Our journey to my grandma’s house was about an hour by car but I was so intrigued by the people and lush trees that I didn’t mind. Being there felt so different and it was absolutely amazing. On arrival, I was overjoyed to see my beloved grandparents. I had missed them tremendously and was extremely happy to be reunited with them. I was thrilled at the prospect of spending Christmas and New Year’s there. The following day, we took a long drive to my uncle’s farm where we were going to spend our holiday. It was outstanding, boasting a large pool and a beach right next to it, with a variety of animals like chickens, horses, dogs, cats, pigs, cows, and sheep. I was exhilarated to see all my cousins and have a fantastic time playing games and swimming.

On Christmas, we stayed up until midnight and opened presents. I got so many, but my favorite one was the chance to be in Brazil with all of my family. I think that was probably one of the best gifts of all. On New Year’s, we went to a nearby beach and watched the fireworks go off. It was a new and fun experience to celebrate New Year’s the Brazilian way. This trip was filled with exciting new experiences. I got to ride my horse, Ella, whom I hadn’t seen for years; I was overjoyed to find that she still remembered me. I also got to play numerous board games and watch the stars late at night with my aunts and uncles. The sight of countless beautiful stars shining down on us was unforgettable. I will always cherish this vacation, and I hope to go back soon.

Haiti Family Vacation

The summer after 7th grade I went to Haiti for a family vacation. It was the first time that I had travel the country. It was frustrating and exciting for me. It was very stressful to pack because I didn’t know what to bring to wear there. When I arrived at Haiti I met both sides of my family. I stayed with my dad family and visited my mom’s family daily. It was so hot, I thought I was going to die. The second night I stayed there I got sick because my body wasn't used to the food. I had to drink special type of water because my body could only handle filtered water. I was so afraid to eat. I only ate what my mom brought, which was package food. Haiti is the poorest country in the western hemisphere. Most of my family members live there.…

Dominican Family Vacation

went to the Dominican Republic for a family vacation for two and a half weeks. As we explored different parts of the island, we decided to stay in this beautiful mountain called “Lomas Linda.” Lomas Linda is known for its unique mountains, diversity in mountain and flowers. While we were in the mountains I felt the cool wind. We went on long drives that led us to a natural river, and we went to one of the biggest orchid collections in the world. The Dominican Republic is known for having…

My Family Vacation : The Hot, Humid, And Sweltering Heat

The hot, humid, and sweltering heat that ran through out Orlando, Florida was all that people could feel. At some points you could actually see the heat waves rising. For as far as you could see, there were kids eating all kinds of sugary treats that were abnormally priced but the parents would do anything to keep their kids hydrated and happy in this heat. My parents were doing the same thing to my family that day too. We were there for an extended family vacation to reunite after years of not…

The first reason why kids should have a summer break is because it is a stress reliever. According to Denise Reynolds, Studies…

Personal Narrative: Family Vacation In The United States

Seeing my dad behind bars for something he did not commit was surreal. What was going to be a family vacation in Mexico turned into a nightmare. The smoke coming out the cars blocked the view as we tried to figure out who was in the other car. When opening the car doors, blood dripped everywhere. My heart sunk. The difference between the sweat running through me had no exact justification, was it because of the immense heat or was I that hysterical. Sirens could be heard throughout the whole…

Personal Narrative: The Last Jarrell Family Vacation

The Last Jarrell Family Vacation When my father told my brother and I that the family was going on a trip to France, my brother threw the water bottle he was holding into the ceiling fan. Water and plastic exploded everywhere. My dad screamed and my mom whimpered. I laughed. Last week Tommy bought his first car. It’s a used 1998 Toyota Civic. Even though it is old and shitty, Tommy loves his car more than he loves dad or mom or me. Mom took a photography class at the community college…

Essay About Vacation With Family

The first time I went on vacation with my parents, I was extremely excited. I was 14, fresh out of middle school, and I felt like I was the only child my age who hadn't gone on a vacation.  So when my dad said that we were going to Tybee Island, a beach in Georgia, I couldn't be happier. It was also a bonus that the vacation was at the beach, being that I absolutely love the sun and the heat! This trip to the beach was going to be a fun, family bonding experience that left me relaxed and jovial.

The week before, my mother and I went shopping for our trip. We bought bathing suits, beach clothes, towels, sandals and anything else we needed. The beach was four hours away, so we decided to drive. My father flew down from New York and rented a car to drive us to Tybee Beach. We left for the trip at around 8 in the evening. I have never driven with my dad for a long period before so I was super excited. During the drive, we ate snacks and listened to music only I liked. As we got closer to the beach, it started to storm heavily. It was frightening as the roads were wet and we couldn't see very far ahead. I decided to sleep the rest of the way. When I awoke, we had arrived!

Our first morning there, my dad and I got up early to go walk on the beach. We played in the water, laid on the beach, and collected seashells. It was very delightful to spend quality time together as I don't see him very often. After the beach, we sat by the hotel pool and laid in the sun.

My mom had stayed in the hotel because she wanted to sleep in. My mother and I decided to walk around the gift shops near the beach.

The rest of the week was filled with great experiences as we explored the island. On one of the days of the trip, we did a tour ecology tour on the south side of the beach. The tour guide showed us parts of the beach where organisms were hiding. We also were allowed to help pull in a net from the ocean to show us the different species of fish that were located in Tybee (we threw the fish back into the ocean). The tour ended with the guide pointing out the dolphins that were swimming near the shore.  The next day, we did a dolphin tour on a huge boat ride. It was very exciting to be on the boat in the ocean and we saw plenty of dolphins.

On the last night of the trip, my parents and I went to a nearby seafood restaurant and we ordered a feast. After we ate, we took one final walk on the beach and then we went back to the hotel. That day was one of the happiest days I've had in a long time. It was a very good time in my family's life. The drive home was blissful as we all reflected on our joyous trip.

My last holiday was a five-day trip to Prague in the Czech Republic. I know Prague well because I lived there when I was at university, more than ten years ago.

Instead of staying in a hotel, I stayed with one of my old friends. It was so much fun, and a little bit like my old life. I wanted to do all the same things I did in my university days, so I visited the university. It has changed a lot and looks more modern. I also went to the supermarket near my old house. I loved seeing all the different foods. I was really happy to find my favourite cheese and chocolate biscuits but they were a bit more expensive than I remember!

We did some touristy things too. We walked up beautiful Petrin Hill and around the castle. The views of the city are amazing up there. We walked across the historic Charles Bridge. My friend's flat is very near the TV Tower so we saw the famous baby statues climbing up it. Those things haven't changed, of course.

The destination on this vacation has been the Colombian Caribbean coast, We arrived two days ago, this is a very nice experience. Yesterday I discovered the window to the world that is located in Barranquilla, as well as the boardwalk, they are very warm places but above all very visited, as the afternoon fell I went to visit some of my husband's brothers. Tomorrow we will get up very early to travel a few kilometers and be able to visit Cabo de la Vela, in La Guajira, we will leave at 6 am, because we must be in Uribia Guajira at 3 pm, there the tour guide will be waiting for us, who will be the one in charge of directing this adventure. I also had the opportunity to visit Cartagena de Indias and its beautiful beaches, I really liked getting to know the beach, the sea and the people who live there, But what I liked most was being able to visit Cabo de la Vela and learn a little about the reality of the Wayuu culture, being able to enjoy the beautiful landscapes and sunsets that this beautiful place offers.

My last was holiday three-week trip to Fez in Morocco. Fez it’s my hometown so I know it well because I lived there for 26 years. I went to visit my family there and I stayed at home, every day I was invited by my sisters and brothers, they made me delicious dishes and we had a good time together. I’ve been seeing my friends every day in the café, we’ve been seeing football matches and we’ve been talking about different topics. In this holiday I made many things important for me, I had driving courses to be confident when I’m going to buy a car, in the same time I had English courses.

My last holiday was a three-day trip to Thua Thien Hue in Vietnam. I always want to go there, so in the summer of last year, I decided to take a trip to Hue with my family.

We booked a small hostel near Hue Walking Road. We stayed in a twin room, which was clean and had full amenities. The owner was very friendly; he showed us good restaurants, attractions, and how to deal with sellers in the market. We tried local foods such as Bun Bo Hue, Banh Xeo, Banh Bot Loc, etc. The food in Hue is cheap and amazing; I thought that I could eat it all day!

We did some touristy things too. We visited Hue Capital and had a chance to learn more about Vietnam's history. The architecture is very majestic and beautiful. We also went to Thien Mu Pagoda. It is one of the most sacred temples in Vietnam, so we prayed for health and happiness and wished everyone good luck. In the evening, we walked across the historic Trang Tien Bridge. It was so beautiful at night; there were a lot of people walking there.

It was three amazing days. I felt so relaxed and hope to visit more places in Vietnam.

My last holiday was a two-day trip to Baguio in the Philippines. I had lived there before for five months. So I decided to go back for just a visit on my holiday. Unfortunately, there was heavily raining as we got off the bus. Otherwise, getting a taxi was super hard, and we were waiting for around an hour. Fortunately, I got home safely and I made so much fun with my friends. I visited the old places that I often did because it made me happy and refresh. In conclusion, I had so much fun spending my last holiday in Baguio.

I remember last year when I went with friend to the beach in summer. My Lastsummer holidays was 2days and 3 nights trip to Ngwe Saung Beach in Myanamr . Ngwe Saung, is a beach resort located 48 km west of Pathein, Ayeyarwady Region, Myanmar. In 2014, the town of Ngwesaung had 10,732 people. The beach is 5hours drive with no traffic away from the principal city of Yangon. Ngwe Saung is well know for An unspoilt 15 kilometres stretch of silvery sand and modern amenities have made Ngwe Saung a popular destination for less budget conscious tourists from Lower Myanmar. I booked for our stay at a hotel near the beach, name was "Grand Paradise Hotel ". My friend and i prepared everything we needed on our trip as light food and soft drinks to have on the way to the hotel. And also we prepared necessary clothing for the sea, sun cream and some essential medicines. After 5hours of driving we arrived the hotel at 12PM afternoon and went to our rooms to rest change clothes and take all what we need to go to the beach. This Hotel is near the beach, all services was good and room are cleaned, wide and nice. We put our bags on the table and went to swim in the sea and then went out for lunch that my friend ordered from a fish restaurant . The Crab ,Lobster and fish was fresh and tasty and we enjoyed our meal very much. After lunch we sat under the canopy enjoying the sea view, refreshing breaths ,listening to music and playing fun games. OH really nice Ngwe Saung beach Myanamr.

My last holiday was far away in time in different reasons. We were at black sea coast on September so there where not so much other people. We was drinking a wine that was cheap there and going some excursions

My last holiday. Last summer, in particular on the last weekend of June, I decided to visit Granada, an amazing city in Spain. I visited Granada for the second time with my family, my wife, and two daughters. I was so happy because I visited Granada sights, especially Alhambra Palace, and Civilization Museum. We arrived at the hotel by bus at 11 a.m. The hotel was wonderful and clean, and the food they offer was delicious. My family really liked the traditional typical dishes of Granada, in particular the dish named Baella. During the holiday, I met some of my Spanish colleagues and they invited us to visit their house which is located in a nice village in the city suburb. Really, I liked this place for the large landscape, calmness, and the kind people who live in. On the fifth day of our holiday, we walked around the city and saw the old city which has been built above the mountain. So, you can see the whole city from above it. Despite the enjoyment that we have got, the negative thing about that holiday was that we spent so much money and also many friends need to buy some things from there, so I bought some souvenirs and I hope that I can keep one for myself to remind of that divine place. By and large, this holiday was great and unforgettable thanks to my Spanish friend, Gaspar, who provided me with a Guidebook which makes my trip easy and coy.

My last holiday was four days on São Miguel dos Milagres with my family. We stay on the beach house of my grandpa. There is a pool, and four rooms in that. There we go to the beach, to some interesting restaurants, to a beach clube and to an ice cream shop. I love that travel and i'd love go back to São Miguel dos Milagres.

On the first weekend in March, we took an amazing trip to Barcelona. We went by train from Atocha station and the journey lasted two and a half hours.

When we arrived at the historic Barcelona Sants station, we took the metro to Plaza de Tetuan, which is where we had the apartment. We left our baggage and went to visit the city centre, Las Ramblas, Plaza Catalunya, La Boqueria Market, Paseo de Gracia, etc. On Sunday, we saw the beautiful Sagrada Familia which is my favourite landmark. Later, we went to the incredible Nou Camp stadium to see the Barça game against Valencia. After the game we visited the official store and did some shopping but everything was very expensive. On Monday, before returning to Madrid we went back to the Nou Camp to take a guided tour of the trophy room, changing rooms, benches, and the VIP box.

At the end, we went to the apartment to take the suitcases and so, we took the metro to the Sants station where we boarded the high speed train back to Madrid.

I go to Thailand for a camping holiday, It was fun I go caving on the first day, I see many bets are sleeping on top of the cave.(no time to finish)

Descriptive Essay About Family Vacation

At the end of last year, my father announced that we will be having a family meeting to discuss our summer vacation plans. Not this again I thought. Every year, when my father announced a family meeting regarding our vacation plans, he just explains how we're going down to North Carolina to see our family and then to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. My family and I have been to Myrtle Beach for the past eight years. Like every year to show appreciation, I attended the family meeting. I remember how my father had this stupid excited look on his face. He then opened a huge brochure that said Atlantis Bahamas. I jumped out of my seat in shock, and danced around like an idiot. I was really excited that I would finally be going to an exotic island and that is not part …show more content…

Before I entered the hotel I closed my eyes and walked in. I was greeted to the new smells and the atmosphere of what it was like to be in the Bahamas. About a half hour later, my family and I were checked into our hotel room. Our room was a normal sized room with a balcony that viewed the park and ocean. After we were settled, we went downstairs to the beach. I took my first step into the crystal clear water and immediately jumped in. The water was so warm, that I did not have to take time to get used to it. Checked that off my list. The next day, my family and I went to a boat ride to go snuba diving. Unfortunately, you had to be 18 years or older to go scuba diving . Snuba diving was a different form of scuba diving. You had a long rod that connected to an oxygen tank. You would then put the air piece in your mouth and start to breathe. At first, I was afraid to go underwater because I was afraid of sharks. However, when I went in, I was not afraid when I saw all the cool different types of fish. Check. Finally, at dinner time, my father took us to this five star course meal in the hotel. I ate mahi mahi. Check and

Personal Narrative: The First Day Of Disney World

Our hotel was beautiful. It reminded me of the type of hotel I would see in a Sandals commercial. It was on the beach, our room was huge, and I swear the pool was as big as my house. That night all I did was swim and eat pizza, then I was asleep. The next day, we went to Magic Kingdom in Disney World. I was beyond excited. Before you get to Magic Kingdom, you have to go down this long road at which some point you will pass a sign saying, “Walt Disney World.” Immediately after I saw that sign my stomach felt like it filled up with a thousand butterflies. That’s when it hit me that I was actually in

Personal Narrative: My Trip To Dominican Republic

We asked our dad if we could go scuba diving and he said yes. My dad found a place where they would provide equipment and teach you how to do it. I have never done this before and I was a little nervous, but I was kind of excited at the same time. Once we got to the place, they showed us how to work the equipment and what to do. I got very nervous again and I do not know why. We got in the water and everything was alright. It was the clearest water I have ever seen in my entire life. The fish were so colorful and the reef was filled with all sorts of interesting plant life. I was about to find out why I was so nervous before. Everything was going according to plan until one bad thing happened to me. I was in the ocean and I swallowed a bunch of water and could not breathe. I started to panic and thrashed in the water to get someone’s attention. I got the attention of my brother, and he pulled me up out of the water and I spit it out. That was the most terrifying thing that has ever happened to me and I vow never to scuba dive ever again. After that scary moment happened, the rest of the vacation was great. We went to the beach and pool every day and the rest of the vacation was

Personal Narrative: My Trip To Tallahassee And Perdido Key

Three years ago, on an early, hot July morning, it was time to begin our trip to Tallahassee and Perdido Key Florida. My parents were buzzing around the entire house to try to finish up the packing, and the last final details such as food, money, and all those things that adults have to worry about before a big trip. My brother, Zach, and I were sitting in my muggy living room with all of our bags watching Spongebob, trying to comprehend how we are possibly going make it through a 16 hour car ride. My parents aren’t too keen on flying, well, actually my mom isn’t too keen on flying. My parents rented a car for us to use on the trip, because my mom didn’t want to add anymore miles on our ten year old van. Basically my parents could not trust

My Hot Family Vacation Essay

A few minutes before we landed at the airport, I looked at the screen in front of me and it showed ‘33°C’. It had been a year since I last experienced that kind of heat and I couldn’t bear it last time, so I wondered how I would cope with the heat this time. As the plane began to slow and turn into terminal, I could hear people around me start to get there belongings together so that they could get off the plane first. People returned the magazines to the rack on the back of the chair in front of them and I turned off my iPod and put it back in my bag. When I took my headphones out, I felt like I was back in the real world now as I had been concentrating on listening to music for hours. It seemed like time was going slower and slower

Personal Narrative: My Trip To The Dominican Republic

I have never been so jubilant in my life to go to one place. The anticipation was so overwhelming, and I could not take any more of it. We got to the resort after a twenty-minute bus ride, and the view was breathtaking. I stepped off the bus, and I could remember seeing the beautiful palm trees and feeling the heat of the sun beating on my face. I said to my dad, finally we made it and let the fun begin. We got settled in and checked in the hotel. My brother and I decided to check the rest of the resort out. The resort had a crystal clear pool with a bar in it. It was unbelievable, and I have never seen anything like it before in my life. It had ten gourmet restaurants and plenty of entertaining things, for us kids to do. So, after we did this, we went back to our hotel and stayed in for the night and just wanted to get some

Personal Narrative-Elite Team

We went to disney and stayed at a resort in disney. Then we decided to go to Panama. We weren't planning on going to Panama till the night before we were going home. So we couldn't find a hotel to stay at. So we were driving down there and we stopped at some town to stay the night in between Panama City and Orlando. We couldn't find a hotel within 70 miles so when we finally found one to stay at for the night we didn't even care how nice it was. And it ended up being not too nice because we found some cockroaches. So the next day we made our way up to Panama City. Since we booked the hotel the night before because we weren't planning on going there we had to stay in a hotel that smelled like it had water damage and drugs. We called every hotel on the beach and they all were booked. So we went to the beach and it was hot and the ocean was crystal clear. It seemed like the Jellyfish were screaming for us to pick them up. But the worse part of this whole trip was I forgot to put sunscreen on and you're on the beach and It's hot so I was just asking to get burnt.Later that night this kid at our hotel asked my sister if I was naturally that red because I looked strange. When we stepped on the beach you the waves were crashing onto the beach, surfers hit the wave and have a salt stench on your hands. Even though this vacation was long I made some amazing memories playing at nationals

Sea Snake Poem

When we reached the shore I realized it wasn’t a beach. It was an ocean! The life guards could have told us! Because of this, I don’t go to beaches anymore. Besides, they are filthy anyways. Pools were the way to go for me! And that was the first, and hopefully only, vacation I want to

Persuasive Essay On Family Vacation

Approximately 33% or a third of all families in the United States will go on a family vacation this year. Family vacations when you break it down is entirely for the parents. Descriptive Essay On Vacation

The only sound that filled my ears was my keyboard clicking as my fingers raced across it. I had been procrastinating from finishing this assignment all evening, but I knew I needed to get it done. The burning sunset was shining through the windows as I was finishing up. It was a peaceful silence, until I heard the soft whispers of my parents that ignited my sense of curiosity. I was concentrating hard; doing my best trying to make out the hushed words that were being spoken.

How to Plan a Family Vacation Essays

“A penny saved is a penny earned.” “A job worth doing is worth doing right.” We apply both of these sayings to the working world all of the time. Why not apply them to our vacationing world as well? Like most people, I look forward to a vacation, but planning it can become overwhelming if you’re not prepared. Planning a vacation should be fun and exciting. Vacationing is not always a priority to many families due to economic distress, but as little as a few hundred dollars you can plan a weekend getaway that’s inexpensive but a lot of fun!

Personal Narrative : Going To A Mexico Resort

“Wow” I said, amazed with how clear the water is. It was like swimming on glass or even looking through glass. Then we go to the spot I thought is was going to be freezing in the water because back at the beach is was like swimming with ice on you. But as we were getting ready to go in the water with tons of people from the resort had to put on the gear first. First we put on the life jacket, then we put on the goggle and snorkels. I also remember seeing a shark cause the guy yelled to the guy on the other boat because we have a party boat next to us. Then when we went out there and when I got in the water with my luck a shark swam right by us for myI was lucky then he did not come with me cause I would I poop my pants. I think that was the last time I went in the

Family Vacation Essay

Spending quality time with family is one of my favorite childhood memories, whether it was spending time outdoors, playing ping pong, or watching a movie. My most meaningful family memory came from our vacation to Colorado back in 2004; yes, 2004. Although I don’t remember all of the events that transpired, I’m able to recall most of the memorable events that took place. It was a cool, misty morning in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, and I could distinctly hear the unmistakable elk calls that echoed through the mountains. The breeze gently scraped my face as I got into the car to begin the first day of our family vacation in Colorado. I could hear the car tires gently humming on the road during this cool, foggy, Colorado morning. As I looked past the lanky pine trees, glistening drops of dew formed on the tall grass, dancing with the wind. As we moved further down the road, I could see the tip of the sun barely begin to peek over the steep, snowy mountain peaks; however, the sun was soon covered by the misty Colorado clouds. This was it: our family vacation!

Family Memories : My Family Vacation

It was the summer of 1977, and my father decided to pack the station wagon and drive from Fort Worth to Tampa, Florida. Besides my parents in the vehicle, my two sisters and brother also joined us for the long journey. I was young and excited and did not realize the distance my father would be driving on this trip. We made two stops on the way down and the first one was in Mississippi at a Holiday Inn. My first time spending the night the night at a hotel occurred on this vacation, and I was excited. We had adjoining rooms with my parents, and we spent the evening in the pool and watching television all night. I was never aware of my parents’ finances but I know now, we did not have a lot of money. From Mississippi, we stopped again in Tallahassee, Florida and we swam in the ocean during the afternoon and hit the hotel pool in the
