facebook reviews and likes

Table of Contents

In today’s digital age, having a strong online presence is crucial for businesses of all sizes. One of the key elements of a strong online presence is having a positive reputation. One way to establish and showcase a positive reputation is by having a link to your Facebook reviews. These reviews provide potential customers with valuable insights into the experiences of past clients and can be a powerful tool for building trust and credibility for your business. In this article, we will discuss why it’s essential to have a Facebook review link and how it can benefit your business. Having reviews on your Facebook business page is a must to build credibility and broaden the reach of your brand. Plus, these ratings can boost search engine rankings too – Google values feedback from its users!

This post is going to go into detail about how you can get Facebook reviews link for your business pages easily.

Let us dig in.

How to get Facebook review links

We will follow a 9-step process that can help you get invaluable feedback from your customers on Facebook.

Step 1 – How to Create Review Links for Sharing

Establishing a straightforward connection with your current customers, website visitors and email subscribers is effortless. There are numerous ways to accomplish this; however, the most convenient route would be providing them easy access to use.

If you possess tech skills, yet don’t use WordPress; then creating a redirection in the .htaccess file on your server can be of great help. This line of code will direct people who visit yourdomain.com/facebook to the review tab on your Facebook business page – further cementing customer reviews and trustworthiness!

If you do know how to make use of WordPress, here’s how you can create review links:

Yoast Tools

  • To set up a redirect with Yoast’s convenient tools, simply hover over the SEO tab in your WordPress admin panel and click Tools. Navigate to this handy feature for easy implementation of redirection for improved website performance.
  • Move to the next page and select File Editor.
  • Now you will need to edit a file (same as before). Editing the .htaccess file is a breeze with Yoast, as it simplifies the whole process and allows you to easily access your server’s file.
  • To increase your visibility and drive more traffic to your website, use a redirect like this:

Redirect 301 /Facebook/

  • Drive more reviews and increase credibility for your business by linking to your review page URL on all of your online platforms.
  • Hit ‘Save’ and your shortened, memorable URL will be ready for you to share with others.

Pretty Links

  • Make your website more efficient and user-friendly by installing Thirsty Affiliates. With this tool, you can create short links that track click stats and make it effortless to swap multiple URLs on your site with minimal fuss.
  • Please insert the URL of your Facebook review page here. It should look similar to this example: https://www.facebook.com/pg/yourcompanyhere/reviews/
  • Now make a brief URL like facebook-reviews or just simply use ‘facebook’ to easily generate the link.
  • The URL should appear like this: https://yourcompanyhere.com/facebook

Share the link!

Step 2 – Include Review Links with Email

Make sure everyone you message has the opportunity to review your business by including a link in your email footer. Here’s an example:

Martha Wayne

YourCompanyHere.com

Like what we got? Review us on Facebook https://yourcompanyhere.com/reviews

Using Review Grower can promote your review links through email.

Step 3 – Promote The Review Link on multiple channels

Be sure to have the review link readily available for customers when you chat with them online. At the end of a conversation on your website, Facebook, WhatsApp, Slack or any other communication channel don’t forget to ask your clients for their opinion and include the relevant link in your message.

Step 4 – Get Likes, Follows & (Hopefully) More Reviews

Increase your page’s likes and followers for improved visibility. Brand trust is created through multiple touchpoints, meaning the more someone sees your company name, the higher their confidence in you will be. When people follow or like a business’ social media accounts, they are much more likely to keep up with what it posts – this establishes an essential connection between them and your brand that encourages future loyalty.

If you are running ads or boosting posts on your business page, take a look at the list of people that liked the post. Why not issue an invitation to all those who aren’t already fans? Bear in mind: If they have engaged with your content previously, it is likely that they’ll like your page too!

Establishing familiarity and trust with consumers can make acquiring reviews that much simpler.

Step 5 – You can Embed Review Widgets On the Website

Posting affirmative reviews of your business on your site not only provides invaluable social proof but can also significantly boost other aspects related to the success of your venture.

Embed a review widget into your website to make it easier for people, especially those who are intrigued by the idea of clicking on something related to Facebook, to give you reviews. By making this process simpler and more accessible, customers will be more likely to provide feedback.

It is possible that adding reviews and comments to your site could improve its rankings on search engines. While there is some debate over how much-embedded content on a website can be read or crawled by search engines, user-generated content such as reviews and blog post comments have been known to positively affect the ranking of that page.

Step 6 – The Right Template for the right occasion

Determine the best template for your business type with this guide:

  • To make adjustments to your business page, navigate to the Settings section and select the ‘Edit Page’ option located on the left of your screen.
  • To edit the current Template, simply click on the “Edit” button.
  • Local companies should select the Business Template to ensure their business operations are running smoothly. Selecting the template that is most appropriate for your company will streamline both internal and external functions.

Step 7 – Does Your Facebook Page Have A Review Tab?

Unfortunately, many people overlook this simple step; if you have set up your business page as a generic-type page, then the review tab will likely be hidden from view.

To make the reviews tab appear on your Page, start by clicking “About” on the left side. Then locate and click “Edit Page Info” which is right below either a Message Us or Contact Us call to action button.

If you’re reluctant to include your full address information (which is understandable for businesses that only operate online), then adding the city will suffice.

The Reviews tab should appear, although this isn’t a guarantee. Facebook is notoriously opaque and no reliable solution exists for this issue. To make matters worse, the support forums are staffed by inexperienced personnel who only add to the confusion.

Experiment with the templates and address settings until you can get a view of the reviews tab. Additionally, make sure to include as much information in this page as possible – it will help optimize results!

Step 8 – Nudge Users into Giving Reviews

Instead of providing incentives to customers for checking in with Facebook when they visit your business, create visibility around the “check-in” feature. Easily hang signs near reception or waiting areas so that guests can easily spot it and take advantage of this offer!

Foursquare may have been the first to introduce a check-in option, but Facebook has something even more powerful in its hand.

After someone visits a location, Facebook will often send out an invitation to review the business. Though this is not always effective, it offers owners of businesses a way to prompt customers for reviews without disregarding Facebook’s regulations. Nevertheless, one must be cognizant that there are laws in place (including FCC and Google guidelines) concerning incentives for positive reviews – Facebook’s rules on this matter remain opaque as with other policies.

Step 9 – Use Facebook Messenger to Ask for Reviews

Inviting customers to review your services and products using a Facebook Messenger chatbot is the most intuitive way of collecting reviews. Customers won’t be caught off-guard, as they are already occupied on that platform. As soon as you remove any potential friction involved in submitting a review, you will undoubtedly see improved results!

What to do if I get a negative review on Facebook?

Rather than attempting to erase unfavorable reviews that don’t violate any laws or policies, use them as an opportunity. Professionalism is paramount when facing and responding to these critiques; they can even improve your profile by demonstrating engagement, providing content, and showcasing your ability to respond promptly and with poise!

Full Guide to Facebook Reviews in 2023

how to get facebook review link 2023

According to recent statistics, there are close to 3 billion active monthly users on Facebook. The simple fact remains that Facebook is the leader in the clubhouse regarding user engagement. This reality stimulates many proactive business owners to increase the number of positive Facebook reviews in 2023.

Facebook reviews can solidify one's online presence and increase brand visibility. They are one of the most effective marketing strategies any business owner should focus on in 2023. They can boost your brand's reputation, attract more customers, and ultimately increase sales.

But there are some key facts that you need to know about how Facebook reviews and, specifically, their Facebook ratings are used to improve social proof among future customers.

Below, we'll outline some facts about Facebook business reviews. We will explain how the Facebook rating system works, how to take advantage of Facebook ratings, and how ReviewsOnMyWebsite can help you drive your customers to your Facebook business page to write glowing reviews.

How does the Facebook rating system work?

The Facebook rating system used to be based on a 5-star system. Before 2020, a user would click and select from 1 to 5 stars, with each star representing a different level of satisfaction or dissatisfaction.

Each star had its own meaning:

  • 1 Star - Very Unsatisfied
  • 2 Stars - Somewhat Satisfied
  • 3 Stars - Neutral
  • 4 Stars - Very Satisfied
  • 5 Stars - Extremely Satisfied

However, in 2020, Facebook changed its system to a recommendation vs. the number of ratings. Their reasoning remains a mystery, as they've been very quiet about this change. However, the business recommendation rating number - under the reviews tab on your business page - which is based on a five-point scale, is still active.

What are Facebook star ratings?

Technically, there are no Facebook star ratings – as of 2019. The platform changed its star reviews rating system to a yes/no recommendation system. While this recommendation rating system is like a star rating in the score criteria, those numbers are collected via multiple elements beyond a simple number assigned by previous customers.

What are Facebook page recommendations?

Now, when your customers leave a Facebook review, they'll instead be asked to make a Facebook recommendation with a straightforward question - would you recommend this company?

If the answer is yes, your business is assigned a 'point.' The company's business Facebook page receives a negative point if the answer is no. While Facebook is quite vague about the actual point total assigned for positive or negative reviews, it's assumed that the number is 5 - since the recommendation in the reviews section total is based on that scale.

After a business collects a non-specified number of reviews, Facebook will assign a recommendation 'scale' - which is based on several factors, including the number of positive recommendations vs. negative recommendations, the quality of the users’ feedback, how often that social network page is shared by reviewers, and other criteria.

How many recommendations are needed for a Facebook rating?

The Facebook Help Center claims that ratings are based on multiple things, such as user reviews and recommendations. They state that only businesses that "allow" Recommendations will have a rating, meaning if there aren't enough recommendations, the business won't be assigned a recommendation rating.

However, when it comes to answering the question, we cannot provide any factual statistics.

What are the benefits of getting good Facebook reviews?

Having good reviews on Facebook is one of the critical methods to increase your business' reputation.

Not only can customers see and interact with the reviews, but they are also shown when someone looks up your page or searches for you on Google reviews.

So, it makes sense that an excellent strategy for improving your Facebook business page recommendation rating is to drive as many happy customers as possible to your platform - and recommend your business.

There are multiple benefits when you increase the number of positive reviews on your Facebook business page.

Benefit #1 - Increases your organic reach

People will trust your brand and be more likely to engage with it when you have many positive reviews. Facebook also rewards local businesses with higher recommendation numbers than competitors with local searches.

As such, your organic reach for local searches of your business type will be ranked higher.

Benefit #2 - Improves your credibility

For potential customers considering doing business with you, the fact that multiple other customers have left glowing reviews will make them more likely to trust your business.

This naturally leads them to think you must offer good products and services.

Benefit #3 - Enhances your professionalism

Receiving many Facebook reviews is a great way to portray a professional image for your business. Having those 5-star ratings on your page is a great way to show that you care about customer experience.

Plus, it helps build trust in potential customers who are new to the business.

How to set up and activate your Facebook page reviews

The top three review platforms increasing in the number of direct user business reviews are Amazon, Google, and Facebook. As such, if your small business attracts new customers via these platforms or you sell products through them - it's a wise idea to take advantage of their free business rating and review systems.

Following the step-by-step guide below, you can easily set up and activate your Facebook page reviews in just a few minutes. Before you begin, make sure you’re clear on Facebook community standards.

Step 1 - Create your business page

The first step is to create your business page if you still need one. Setting it up is straightforward and requires only basic information about your company and industry.

Here are some essential items to include in your business profile.

  • Your business address and phone number
  • Your website URL
  • Hours of operation
  • Industry you serve
  • General customer demographic information which can lead to more Facebook reviews and increased organic traffic

Step 2 - Enable reviews

After creating your page, you need to enable reviews by going to the Settings tab and clicking on "Reviews." Here, you can choose whether people can leave reviews for your page. Make sure it is turned "on."

Step 3 - Invite customers to leave reviews

Once you've enabled reviews, the next step is to invite your past and current customers to leave a review on your page. You can do this by emailing or posting through social media. If you want to get more reviews, consider creating a special offer for people who take the time to leave a review.

How to see reviews on your Facebook business page?

You can access reviews for your business anytime by going to the "Reviews" tab on your page. Here, you can view all the reviews left for your business and how many people have recommended it.

It's essential to keep in mind that Facebook typically displays only positive reviews on your timeline. If you receive negative reviews, they will not be visible unless someone clicks on the "See All" button.

Why can't I see all my Facebook reviews?

Like Amazon and Google, Facebook does hold customer reviews in moderation in some situations. You may only be able to see some of your reviews because some are flagged as suspicious. This can be done if specific keywords are in the review or if a visitor to your Facebook business page reports it as fake or unacceptable.

If a review falls into this category, it will only appear on your business page once it has been approved by Facebook.

Received a negative review that you don't want to be visible? You can always ask Facebook to delete the review if you feel that it's fake or violates Facebook's terms, or reach out to the review author and ask them to update it.

How long do Facebook reviews take to post?

Once you've enabled reviews and invited customers to leave them, it may take some time for the reviews to appear on your page. Generally, it takes around 24 hours for a review to be posted.

Keep in mind that Facebook also has its own filtering system in place. So, if a review contains suspicious words or phrases, it may take even longer to get approved.

How to get reviews on Facebook?

Getting reviews on Facebook is a great way to build credibility and trust. Start asking your existing customers for honest feedback to get more reviews. You can also use social media to spread the word and let people know you're looking for reviews.

In addition to this, you can use ReviewOnMyWebsite to send direct SMS and email requests to your customers asking them to leave a review for your business.

How to manage Facebook reviews?

Managing your reviews is an essential part of building a successful brand. However, many business owners or marketing managers are time-strapped to continually sit on their Facebook pages to wait for customer reviews.

Every business can embrace a few essential tips that will permit them to activate an online reputation management strategy and scale it - once their number of reviews and business grows.

Tip #1 - Activate the new review notification feature

The New Review Notification feature allows you to receive an email whenever someone leaves a review on your page. This means you can stay on top of customer feedback and quickly respond if necessary.

Tip #2 - Assign a daily task to an employee

Another easy way to check your Facebook business page reviews is to assign this task to a trustworthy employee who has excellent communication skills and can speak intelligently about your company. Have them check user reviews regularly, so they can promptly respond to user reviews as soon as they are posted.

Tip #3 - Respond to both positive and negative reviews

Whenever you receive a review, be sure to leave a response. That way, you can adequately thank customers for their feedback and address any negative comments.

Anytime a user leaves a negative comment, take it seriously. However, always reply in a calm, professional, and measured manner. If you can, ask the user to contact you privately to see if you can resolve their issue.

Tip #4 - Use review widgets to display your reviews

Several tools can help businesses manage their online reviews, including ReviewsOnMyWebsite. It will notify you via email when new reviews are posted and allow to quickly respond to reviews.

Plus, it can be configured as a widget on your website. This makes it easy to display your Facebook reviews on your high-traffic landing and conversion pages of your website.

Can you delete reviews on Facebook?

What happens if you receive a review that's either incorrect or outright malicious? You may want to remove it as soon as possible. Fortunately, there are two ways to delete reviews on Facebook:

  • People can delete their reviews within 48 hours of posting them. The easiest way is for them to go into the Settings menu on the review and click "Delete."
  • If the review is older than 48 hours, you can submit a request to have it removed by Facebook. After receiving your request, they will evaluate it and decide within 72 hours.

Managing Facebook marketplace reviews

Facebook Marketplace is the platform's buying and selling feature, allowing users to post reviews about their experience with certain sellers or buyers.

If you receive any negative feedback, it can be damaging to your reputation. However, here are a few tips on how to manage your Facebook Marketplace reviews:

1. Reply as soon as possible

Be sure to respond to a positive or negative review. If you can, try and find out what went wrong and fix it. If they had a great experience, thank them for their comment, and ask if there is any room for improvement.

2. Apologize for their poor experience

Apologizing will show the customer that you care and are willing to take responsibility for any mistakes. Offer your sincere apology and assure them you'll do whatever it takes to make things right.

3. Follow up with an email

If the customer has provided their contact information, follow up via email or phone to ask how they're doing and if there is anything further you can do to help. This shows that you're engaged and that you care about their experience.

How ReviewsOnMyWebsite can help boost your Facebook reviews

When managing your Facebook reviews, taking a holistic approach is essential. You must be consistent and proactive when responding to reviews on your social media platforms.

ReviewOnMyWebsite can help you do this by streamlining the process of collecting customer feedback across multiple channels in one place.

How to create and use a Facebook Review Link

If you’re a business owner, you know all about the importance of online reviews. They provide social proof to help attract new customers and boost your bottom line. While there are many review sites out there, one of the most popularly used platforms is Facebook.

As a business owner, you want to make it easy for customers to leave reviews. The best way to do this is by sharing a Facebook review link. This post discusses how you can utilize the functionality available for reviews on Facebook for business and create a review link.

Free Guide: 10 Tips To Get More Customers From Facebook

What is a facebook review link.

A Facebook review link is a unique URL you create to make it easy for customers to leave reviews on your Facebook page. When customers click the link, they’ll be taken directly to the review form on your Facebook page.

Using a review link makes it easy for customers to leave reviews, and it also helps you track how many reviews you’re getting. However, creating a Facebook review link is a slightly tricky task. Unlike Google My Business, you cannot simply copy a direct link.

Before we talk about creating a review link, make sure that there is a Reviews Tab on your business account. If you don’t have it, go to the About tab on the top left-hand side of your page and click on Edit Page Info. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on Add a Tab. Then, select Reviews from the list of available tabs.

Now that you have the Reviews Tab, it’s time to create your Facebook review link.

How to create a Facebook review link

The biggest issue with sharing the default Facebook review link is that users need to be logged in to access it. If users click on the link without logging in first, they will be redirected to another page. This can be incredibly confusing and frustrating.

To bypass this issue, you need to modify the review link. Follow these simple steps to see how.

Step 1: Start with the URL for the Facebook login page. This will ensure that the customers are prompted to log in first before jumping to the review page.

You will start with the following URL: https://www.facebook.com/login/

Step 2: We need to ensure that once the customers log in, they are redirected to your review page instead of their Facebook feed. To do this, we need to add the “next” command in the login page URL.

The URL should look like this: https://www.facebook.com/login/?next=

Step 3: We need to add the link for the review page after the “next” command. This will instruct Facebook that the customer should be taken to your review page.

Keep in mind that copying the URL of your Facebook business page after the abovementioned URL will not work. Instead, you will need to convert it into HTML code. Here’s what the final URL should look like for ABC company:

https://www.facebook.com/login/?next=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2F ABC %2Freviews%2F

To create this link for your page, you can simply replace the characters in  bold (i.e., ABC) with the business name listed on your Facebook account. To get this, you will have to go to your Facebook page and copy the URL after https://www.facebook.com/ from the address bar.

For example, the URL for Broadly’s Facebook page is https://www.facebook.com/getbroadly .

Therefore, the review link for Broadly’s Facebook page will look like this:

https://www.facebook.com/login/?next=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2F getbroadly %2Freviews%2F

How to use a Facebook review link

Using a review link is very easy. All you need to do is share it with your customers. You can create a template to share it through email, SMS, WhatsApp, social media, or other marketing channels. Once the customers click on the link, they will be taken directly to your Facebook page’s review section.

How to embed Facebook review links

Once you have the review link, you can embed it on your website homepage or blog. This allows your customers to leave reviews without having to go to Facebook.

Here are the steps that you need to follow:

Step 1: Copy the HTML code of the review link and paste it into a text editor such as Microsoft Word or Notepad.

Step 2: Select the text where you want to embed the link, click on Ctrl/Command + K and copy the HTML code.

Once the link is embedded, customers will be able to access it directly by clicking on the text.

Why do i need Facebook reviews?

Here are some reasons why Facebook reviews are essential for your business:

  • Attract more customers: Customers are more likely to trust a business with positive reviews and testimonials. A recent study shows that 92% of customers are more likely to purchase from companies with online reviews than those who don’t.
  • Boost your SEO: Google considers reviews when ranking local businesses in search results. So the more positive reviews you have, the higher you’re likely to rank.
  • Build social proof: Reviews help build social proof, which is the idea that other people’s opinions can influence our own. When potential customers see that others have had a positive experience and left 5-star reviews for your business, they’re more likely to give you a try.
  • Generate leads: Facebook reviews can also act as a lead generation tool. When customers leave positive reviews, their friends and followers will see it and may be encouraged to check out your business.
  • Improve customer service: Reviews can help you identify opportunities to improve your customer service. If you see a trend of negative reviews, it’s a sign that you need to make some changes.

How to get more Facebook reviews

Let’s look at some of the best ways to get Facebook reviews :

  • Email marketing campaign: You can use email to reach out to customers and ask them to leave a review. Be sure to include a link to your review page.
  • Social media: You can also promote your review link on social media. Post it on your Facebook page, share it in tweets and include it in your Instagram bio.
  • Try in-store promotion: If you have a physical location, you can also promote your review link there. Add it to receipts, business cards, and any other marketing materials.
  • Offer incentives: Encourage customers to leave reviews by offering incentives like discounts or coupons. Just be sure that you’re not violating Facebook’s rules by engaging in review gating or offering bribes for reviews.
  • Engage with reviews: One of the best ways to get more reviews is to simply engage with the ones you already have. Respond to both positive and negative reviews, thank customers for their feedback and address any concerns they may have.
  • Use Facebook ads: As reviews directly come from customers, a great way to increase the number of reviews is by growing your customer base. For this, you can use Facebook ads to promote your business. Through Facebook recommendations , you can target people who live in your area and who have recently interacted with your business on Facebook.
  • Try review requests: It is easy to get lost in tricky Facebook marketing activities and forget that you can simply ask customers for reviews. As per available data , about 68% of the customers are willing to leave reviews if asked.

Follow the Guidelines for Facebook Business Page Reviews

Before gathering Facebook reviews on your Facebook page, it’s important to check out Facebook’s guidelines and community standards for business recommendations .

According to these recommendations, Facebook reviews should:

  • Focus on the product or service offered by the business
  • Be based on the user’s personal experience
  • Not be from anyone who manages the page for that business

If your reviews don’t meet these guidelines, you can request them to be removed.

With that, let’s take a look at the easiest way to get Facebook reviews and boost your sales.

2. Promote Your Page on Other Social Media Platforms

If you’re not telling fans on other social media platforms that they can leave reviews on Facebook, they might never find out.

So it’s crucial that you cross-promote your Facebook business page on the different social channels you own, including Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube .

It doesn’t have to be anything fancy. You can simply promote your page or group on other social platforms and ask people to join you.

follow us on facebook for more

That way, interested people can follow your brand on Facebook, where they can leave reviews and customer testimonials .

You can embed social media feeds on your website so visitors can interact with your posts and follow you for more.

3. Embed Facebook Reviews on Your Website

To help you do this yourself, we’ve put together this guide on how to add a Facebook reviews feed to your WordPress website .

4. Add a Facebook Review Widget

Another way to convince people to leave reviews is to embed a Facebook review widget.

That means anyone browsing your feed only needs a click to visit your Facebook business page and leave a review.

For instance, you can easily add your Facebook reviews feed to your sidebar or footer areas using Facebook Feed Pro .

Then, you just need to edit the Facebook feed header to something that will encourage your site visitors to review your business, like this:

leave reviews on the footer facebook

Using Reviews Feed Pro, you can even embed review widgets to show reviews from other major platforms like Tripadvisor, Yelp, and Google Reviews.

The best part is that you can do this for your own website — even if you’re a WordPress newbie. Check out how to add a social media review widget to your website for more information.

5. Send Email Invitations to Recent Customers

Did you know that email marketing can return $36 for every $1 you spend?

Email marketing can be a fantastic way to promote your brand, convert visitors, and get reviews.

If you want to get started with email marketing, here are some great ways to grow your email list .

6. Write a Facebook Post Asking for Reviews

Sometimes, satisfied customers on your Facebook page might have just forgotten to leave a review.

To fix this, you can create a new post on Facebook and remind your customers to leave a review.

You can also add an engaging image to the Facebook post so you’ll have an easier time grabbing people’s attention.

review request for facebook

As a bonus, you can also use Facebook Feed Pro to embed photos and remind website visitors to leave reviews.

7. Set Up a Chatbot on Facebook Messenger

Chatbots are getting more attention as technology improves. And as they continue to make inroads in the customer service and marketing industry, they’re proving pretty valuable.

The fact is, messages sent by chatbots tend to have higher open rates, and with customers getting used to them, they’re tools worth utilizing.

Asking for a review using a Facebook Messenger chatbot can help you reach lots of new people easily. And that means more reviews for your business.

If you think a chatbot can be helpful, check out our full list of the best Facebook marketing tools .

8. Send SMS Messages Asking for Feedback

Did you know the majority of all searches for local businesses nowadays happen on mobile devices?

The truth is, much of the online world is navigated by mobile now, so collecting reviews in this way makes it super convenient for your customers.

You can use the power of mobile to get more Facebook reviews by asking customers to leave a review via SMS.

If customers have opted in to receive updates via text message, send them a short message containing a link to leave feedback on your Facebook page.

Text message review request

Just make sure you keep your messages short and to-the-point, so people are more likely to read through them.

On top of Facebook pages, you can use SMS messages to grow your Instagram account , Facebook group, Twitter page, and more.

9. Enable Notifications for New Reviews

If you aren’t notified when people leave new reviews, you can’t respond to them or share them with others.

The easiest way to solve this is to enable notifications for new reviews. That way, Facebook will let you know whenever someone leaves a new review.

To enable notifications for new Facebook reviews, follow these steps:

  • Go to your Facebook page
  • Click Settings on the left column
  • Click Notifications
  • Next to New Page review, click Turn On

facebook notifications enable for reviews

Once that option is activated, you’ll be notified whenever someone leaves feedback on your Facebook business page.

And if you get negative Facebook reviews , you can now respond to them immediately.

10. Respond To Negative Reviews

While bad reviews can harm your brand, there are ways you can turn them into positive reviews.

Here are the steps you can take when faced with a negative Facebook review:

  • Respond to the review as fast as you can
  • Start by politely apologizing for the problem
  • Offer them ways to reach out to your support team
  • Remind them to change the review score if you helped solve the issue

By helping a customer with a problem like this, you can improve your brand’s reputation and encourage others to leave their feedback as well.

We’ve got a full article on how to handle negative Facebook reviews here that you can check out.

11. Answer Comments and Questions From Fans

Following on from responding to negative feedback, you should also reply to comments on your Facebook business page and questions from potential customers.

If people see your page is busy with activities and conversations about your product, they’re more likely to ask their own questions.

interact with fans to get more reviews

Plus, answering questions removes obstacles that prevent people from shopping with you.

Even better, if customers have a great experience with the buying process, they’re much more likely to leave a review describing that positive experience.

You can also embed Facebook posts on your website to show these interactions to your visitors.

12. Promote Stand-Out Reviews on Facebook

Actively highlighting the feedback you receive on Facebook is another way to draw attention to your reviews tab.

You can make it a regular feature to promote the best reviews on your page to celebrate your customers and add a call to action for others to leave their own feedback.

promote postive review example

Why not run a Facebook Live stream where you read out your recommendations, making it an event your fans can rally around and engage with?

Pro-tip : Are your reviews presented as videos? You can also use Custom Facebook Feed Pro to embed Facebook videos on your website .

13. Encourage Facebook Check-Ins

The likes of Foursquare made virtual check-ins to business locations a viral trend.

Facebook took that functionality and added it to business pages where customers can check-in, notifying friends of their location.

facebook checkins example

Facebook’s check-in functionality also has a nifty feature to help you collect reviews. After someone checks in, they receive a message from Facebook afterward, asking them to review the business.

For a lot of business pages on Facebook, it’s another excellent way to get more reviews for your Facebook page.

On top of getting new reviews, you can also get tons of Facebook likes for your page this way.

14. Remember to Ask for Reviews in Person

Most of the tips in this article focus on getting Facebook reviews online.

But if you have a physical business, you have a great chance to remind them to leave a review on your Facebook page.

You can do that verbally or with reminders around your store. For instance, you can add the review URL on your receipts, hang up signs in your store, and so on.

We’ve got a list of the best visual content creation tools to help you design beautiful signs with ease.

  • Enter people into an online giveaway
  • Give out free product samples

Hi! Just wanted to ask – what do you call the picture on No. 5 (Send Email Invitations to Recent Customers). How do I make one? Is there an app or a website? I can’t seem to find how to make one online. Thank you!

Hi Joanna, thanks so much for your question.

That picture is a screenshot from an email newsletter. You can recreate it by adding individual call to action buttons in the body of the email, or, depending on which email provider you use, they may have social media buttons you can embed.

Hope this helps! 🙂

3 Steps To Creating A Facebook Review Link

To get reviews on Facebook , you need to make sure your customers know where to write a review by sending them a review link.

It’s easy enough to get your Facebook review link. Just open your Facebook Business page in a desktop browser, click on the “Reviews” tab, and copy the URL.

The problem with this, however, is that this review link won’t prompt customers to log in. This means an extra action some customers will have to complete, which can, believe it or not, discourage them.

The key is to make the review process as quick and easy as possible for your customers. This, in turn, will increase the likelihood of them posting a review.

You can do this by creating a Facebook review link with a login prompt . It’s not as hard as it sounds, as we break it down in just three steps.

Why It’s Important To Get Reviews For Your Business

Facebook reviews (Facebook Recommendations) have more benefits than most business owners realize.

And knowing these benefits is important as it will help you understand how Facebook reviews work and, as a result, how you can use them to your advantage.

Facebook reviews are social proof . And with more first-hand endorsements of your products and services, more customers will trust your business.

As it turns out, 88% of customers trust online reviews as much as personal recommendations.

So it’s about building a reputation (through positive reviews and a high star rating) that customers can trust. This will increase your search visibility as well as increase the chance Facebook recommends your business in users’ Feeds.

What’s also worth knowing is that Facebook reviews can appear in search engine results. And if your reviews are positive, this will draw more traffic to your Facebook page.

How To Create A Facebook Review Link: 3 Steps

To get more reviews on Facebook, it’s vital to make writing reviews as easy as possible for customers. In other words: reducing the steps it takes for customers to write a review.

This is why creating your own Facebook review link (with a login prompt) is better than simply using the URL of your Facebook Business review page, as the latter will require some customers to log in first.

There are three steps to creating a Facebook review link:

  • Create a Facebook login URL
  • Modify the URL to redirect customers after login
  • Add your business name to the URL

It sounds technical, but it’s not. You’ll see as we explain each step below.

Step 1: Create A Facebook Login URL

Customers can’t post a Facebook review for your business without logging in to Facebook first.

Most Facebook users will know how to log in if needed, but, again, we’re trying to make it as easy as possible by assisting customers through the process.

All this step requires is adding “/login” to the end of the Facebook homepage URL, so that it looks like this: https://www.facebook.com/login/.

Step 2: Modify The URL To Redirect Customers After Login

After the customer logs in, you want to make sure that the customer is taken to your Facebook Business page – not to the Facebook News Feed.

This ensures the customer won’t have to search for your business or enter your Facebook URL a second time.

To do this, add “?next=” to the end of the Facebook login URL made in step 1, so that it looks like this: https://www.facebook.com/login/?next=.

Step 3: Add Your Business Name To The URL

The final step is to add “https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fyourbusiness%2Freviews%2F” to the URL made in step 2.

However, you’ll need to replace “yourbusiness” with your business name as it reads in the URL of your Facebook page.

Once you have made the change and added it to the URL made in step 2, the final URL—your Facebook review link—should look like this (except with your business name): https://www.facebook.com/login/?next=https://www.facebook.com/yourbusiness/reviews/.

How To Request A Review On Facebook

3 Steps to Creating a Facebook Review Link (1)

Creating your Facebook review link is only half the work, unfortunately. You’ll need to send the review link to customers, needless to say, but you’ll also need to use best practices for your review request to be effective.

This involves two things:

  • Sending your Facebook review requests using the appropriate channels
  • Including a message that encourages the customer to click the link to write a review

The key to creating an effective review request message is to be direct yet friendly while expressing why their feedback is valued.

You can send your review requests using email, SMS, and Facebook messages, but, in general, email is more recommended. Customer emails are easier to collect than phone numbers, and emails are less personal than Facebook messages.

How To Enable Facebook Reviews

It’s no good to send Facebook review request links to your customers if your reviews aren’t turned on. While Facebook reviews are enabled by default, it’s worth checking to make sure!

Thankfully, enabling Facebook reviews takes just five simple steps:

  • Log in to your Facebook Business page
  • Click on “Settings” (located at the top right-hand corner)
  • Click on “Templates and Tabs” (located in the left-hand sidebar)
  • Scroll down to “Show Reviews” (in the “Reviews” section) and click the toggle “On”
  • Click “Save” to confirm the change

Remember: Facebook reviews are enabled by default. So if you find that your Facebook reviews are enabled (the toggle will be green/“On”), make sure not to change the setting.

How To Increase Engagement On Facebook

Your customer reviews are the most important factor determining your business’s reputation on Facebook.

How you interact with customers on Facebook is also important, however, with the potential to increase page traffic and encourage sales.

There are countless ways to engage and interact with your Facebook audience. But to help you out, we’ve listed three key strategies below.

Share User-Generated Content

User-generated content that promotes your business is essentially free marketing. And like customer reviews, it’s more social proof that you can leverage to build your reputation and increase audience engagement on Facebook.

This includes any kind of Facebook content a customer has posted that endorses your products or services. You’ll get notified when it happens, as a Facebook user will tag your business, check-in to your location, or include a hashtag of your business name.

It’s a great way to showcase more positive feedback on your Facebook Business page that followers and new page visitors will see.

Reply To Facebook Reviews

Did you know that 56% of consumers say that the way businesses respond to reviews matters ? This makes it important to respond to Facebook reviews as it can influence customers to trust and use your business.

Most businesses do not respond to reviews. This provides a chance for your business to stand out, however, so it’s worth responding to as many of your Facebook reviews as you can – even the positive reviews.

There are best practices for responding to reviews, and these include responding punctually, professionally, and transparently.

Your responses should always be appreciative, as this will demonstrate that your business cares for its customers and values their feedback – good or bad.

Share Google Reviews On Facebook

Sharing Google reviews on Facebook is more social proof you can use to back up what your positive Facebook reviews are saying.

The good thing about this is that it’s easy to do and provides more engaging content for your Facebook page that users can interact with.

Using Google’s free Marketing Kit , sharing your positive Google reviews on Facebook is as simple as it gets. You can even customize the review as it will appear in your post (such as themes and fonts), which will make the content more visually appealing.

All you need to share Google reviews using Google’s Marketing Kit is a verified Google Business Profile. Google Business Marketing Kit also gives you the ability to create other marketing materials, so it’s a free tool that’s well worth using.

How To Get More Reviews (On All Review Sites)

It isn’t difficult to create a Facebook review link, but there is an easier and more effective way to get reviews for your business – not just on Facebook, but on Google, Yelp , and more.

Having a review link is only half the work, as mentioned. You need to write a persuasive review request to get your customers to click the review link, which you’ll also have to send to all new customers your business deals with.

The easier and more effective method is to automate the process . And it’s the reason why thousands of businesses use ReputationStacker – a tool that will automatically send review requests to your customers using a proven approach to get more reviews.

Ultimately, it’s not necessary to create review links or even put time and effort into a long-term review marketing strategy – not when ReputationStacker will handle all of it for you.

A Guide to Facebook Recommendations for 2023

Facebook has changed the way they do reviews. Scorpion has the guide you need to master Facebook's recommendations update for your business.

How will Facebook’s latest review update impact your business?

Facebook has become a secret weapon for small businesses. Over 1.6 billion people around the world are connected to small businesses on Facebook, and the platform just became even more powerful. Facebook has rolled out new updates in 2023 that are meant to make it easier for users to interact with small businesses.

Facebook’s changes set its platform’s reviews apart from other review sites, such as Yelp and Google Reviews. Specifically, Facebook has changed its reviews to “recommendations.” Similar to a Yelp review, these recommendations can now include photos and tags as well as text.

how to get facebook review link 2023

These tags will highlight key features of your business. They are also a convenient way for your audience to get a quick understanding of what your business offers. Plus, it helps the algorithm show your business to those who need your products or services. Examples of some tags that customers can label your business with include “quick service,” “warm atmosphere,” and “great for families.” Your customers can also select “don’t recommend” for your business and label it under tags like “slow service” and “unfriendly,” but these types of tags are best to be avoided.

Recommendations also appear in a different way than the Facebook reviews previously did. While reviews only appear on the business’s page, recommendations can be posted and shared on any page. The poster has the option to customize this setting. They can make posts available to the public, to only friends, or to themselves.

Your old reviews will now appear on your new “Recommendations” page. They will appear in places where your customers are most likely to find your business, such as on Maps. Recommendations from your viewers’ closest friends will appear first, so this increases the level of trust that audiences can place in your business. See an example of the way this looks below.

how to get facebook review link 2023

While change can be scary, especially after you’ve already gotten the hang of a platform, this change is good news for small businesses. The goal of this update is to create more helpful endorsements that benefit both customers and businesses. Recommendations are helping the platform to do away with the one or two-word reviews that were becoming too prominent. As a business page owner, the change also puts more power into your hands. You can more easily report unfair or phony recommendations by clicking the “Give Feedback on This Recommendation” option.

how to get facebook review link 2023

Features of the new Facebook recommendations

It is no secret that Facebook has a huge membership base. In 2023, there will be as many as 2.96 billion monthly active users. That’s greater than the populations of Africa, Europe, and Oceania combined! That means Facebook is still the most used social platform worldwide and is still extremely important for your small business.

Consumers use these recommendations to guide their purchasing decisions 92.4% of the time. Plus, having positive reviews might make your page easier to find in Facebook search results, so don’t discount reviews when you create a strong SEO strategy .

As mentioned above, when your Facebook followers post a recommendation for your business, they must meet a minimum character requirement as well as auto-generated tags. There is not a lot you need to know to get started with Facebook recommendations, as the platform has made the transition pretty smooth. You should, however, double-check to make sure your Recommendations are enabled. To do this, simply go through the following steps:

Go to “New Pages experience” under settings

Go to “Page recommendation” to review your Page recommendation status

Switch recommendations “ON.” The page will look like this when finished:

How to get facebook reviews for your business [5 ways].

In this blog post we are covering 5 easy ways on how you can get more Facebook reviews effortlessly.

Epic guide to Facebook Reviews

Where is the place where you turn to when deciding what will be your next dinner or trip destination? Reviews, of course!

And you are not the only one –  57% of consumers  say that social media influences their shopping. And 44% of them said that Facebook was the social network that influenced their decisions the most.

The rule of thumb is: The more positive reviews you have, the higher the chances they will visit or buy from you.

Just having a presence on social media is not enough anymore. It would be best if you started yielding results from it.

And what’s a better way to do that than Facebook Reviews?

Along with Google Reviews, Facebook Reviews are one of the most efficient digital versions of word-of-mouth marketing and have the potential to influence your future customers buying decisions that will visit your Facebook business page.

You are probably already familiar with  online reviews’ power  and what they can bring you from a business perspective, so I will skip to the fun part – how to get Facebook reviews for your business.

Here is a list of 5 easy ways on how you can get more Facebook reviews effortlessly:

  • Ask your customers via chat or email
  • Add ‘‘Leave us a Review’ buttons on your website
  • Ask for Facebook reviews offline
  • Respond to every review
  • Promote customers feedback on social media and Facebook Ads

How to Find Your Facebook Review Link

First things first.

Before we dive into the methods on how to ask customers for Facebook recommendations and reviews, please make sure you actually know where is your Facebook Reviews section and how to get the link so you can drive customers to that page.

To find your Facebook reviews page link, go to your ‘Reviews tab’ and copy the URL.

For EmbedSocial, it will be this one: https://www.facebook.com/EmbedSocial/reviews/

We encourage you to go with the 2nd option, so below, we are listing some simple ways to collect more Facebook reviews for your business.

Pro tip:  To make the reviews link more appealing, you can always use a  custom link shortener  to provide you with the essential info on the link activity. For more detailed insights and to track from where users are coming to your review link, check out  Google’s Campaign URL builder .

Okay, now let’s see how we can use this link to navigate customers to write their reviews.

1. Ask your customers via email or chat

What is the easiest way that to ask your current customers you already have a relationship with to leave you a review?

Here are 2 ways how to do this:

Chat communication is growing during the pandemic and has become one of the main channels for direct interaction with customers.

Therefore, a perfect way to collect customer feedback !

Companies need to implement procedures in their Customer support departments where every employee at a certain point of interaction will ask their customers for feedback.

And for companies wanting to increase their Facebook reviews, the best way is to ask customers to post their reviews publicly with a direct link to your Facebook Page’s reviews section.

Another option to ask for reviews is to send request emails to your customer list.

“Hey, let us know what you think – Leave us a review here’’

and add a direct link to your Facebook reviews option.

Our email review request message looks like this:

request email for reviews

And if a client doesn’t leave you a review, don’t be shy to do a follow-up.

Send something like:

‘’Hey, did you ever get a chance to write a review for us?’’

Just make sure you are not pushy cause you will never get the desired review.

Pro tip:  It’s all about timing, and Facebook reviews are no exception. Thus, the optimal time to contact a new customer is 3 to 5 days after purchase. Ensure they are happy with the product or service, thank them for choosing you, and then ask for a review.

2. Add ‘‘Leave us a Review’ Buttons and Facebook Badges on Your Website

Another way of ‘it never hurts to ask’ is by adding CTA buttons like ‘ Leave us a Review ’ on your website to direct users to your Facebook reviews page.

The easiest way to start collecting customer feedback on your website is with the  EmbedReviews platform .

You have the option to display a Facebook review widget or add a ‘ Leave a review ’ button anywhere on your website.

Here is how our ‘Leave a Review’ button and Facebook widget look in action:

Once your web visitors click on the review button, they will be redirected to your Facebook Reviews tab where they can submit their feedback.

Embed Facebook reviews badge

As for the badges in the EmbedReviews button, you can choose from the available designs and again use an embeddable code to display on your website.

facebook rating badges

Note that the badge will update every time you have a new Facebook review.

3. Ask for Facebook Reviews Offline

When it comes to offline engagement with your customers, you will also need to think of placements how to make sure you encourage and collect their feedback.

Here are some ways how you can do this:

Print QR codes on receipts, flyers, menus, posters, and similar

QR codes can help you bridge the offline and online worlds and give customers an easy way to submit Facebook reviews.

You will only need to generate a QR code that will include the Facebook link to your Facebook Page’s reviews section.

Big posters with your customer reviews is a definitely great idea, showing your social proof offline and also inspiring people to do the same and get their name on your business location walls.

Ask customers to check in on Facebook

Encourage customers to check in on your location with their Facebook profiles.

If you are a local business owner of a place, provide a stable Wi-Fi network and ask people to check in there, and Facebook will send them a reminder to write a review 1-2 days later.

You will be surprised how many of them will land you a hand.

PRO tip:   Most of these offline encouragements usually include some incentives, such as discounts or free staff, that can improve the response rate of your offline customers. So, think about how you can incentivize them to give you feedback on Facebook.

4. Respond to Facebook Reviews (even the negative ones)

Take time to respond to every review! Users will surely notice your interaction and how you value customers’ feedback and award you with leaving a review.  Respond even to star ratings without comments, no matter if it is 5-star reviews or less.

To tackle your review responses more effectively, you try an  Autoresponder for Facebook reviews  that can automate your reply. This way, you will never forget to reply to a review and show your customers that you value their time and effort.

Responding to all reviews includes responding to the negative ones, too, right?

What to do when you encounter a negative review? How should you deal with it to not hurt the customer’s feelings and your business, too?

Don’t dare to delete negative reviews (unless they violate  Facebook Community standards ).

It will hurt your reputation, and it will show that you lack transparency. Instead, use them to your advantage – apologize for the bad experience and offer a solution.

Yes, potential customers will notice the negative review, but they will also see that you have handled the situation and will respect you more.

Guess what – negative customer feedback can do more good than harm. Despite improving your online reputation management , they can help business owners see the bigger picture and improve their digital marketing strategy based on that.

If you ignore negative reviews and they proceed to come up, you will probably run out of business sooner or later.

So, take a deep breath and follow these action steps below:

  • First, you should try to understand why the customer is leaving a negative review. Why are they not happy with your product or service? What is the trigger?
  • Reply to the negative feedback ASAP. Thank the customer for leaving a review. Try to understand the reason behind the testimonial (make sure you don’t go into defense mode). And if it is your fault, acknowledge it and do something about it – at least suggest replacing the products or refunding the customer.

Please note that whatever your response is, it will be seen by other visitors. This is the perfect way to show how you care about your consumers (and, as a result, get more sales and even more reviews).

We created a detailed  guide on the best practices for responding to negative reviews . Suggested responses are included, too.

5. Promote customers’ Feedback on Social Media and Facebook Ads

Business reviews are the best user-generated content , so make sure you aggressively promote them across every social media platform you have. This will unconsciously inspire other customers to leave their feedback, too.

With a simple share among your community, your customer reviews will attract new customers who will be encouraged to share the same

Here is our latest social media campaign on Facebook, featuring one of our customer reviews:

How to Get Your Facebook Reviews Page Link

Published on November 7, 2023

For business owners, the significance of online reviews is well-known. These reviews serve as a form of social proof, helping in the attraction of new customers and contributing to increased revenue. Among the multitude of review platforms, Facebook stands out as one of the most widely utilised.

As a business owner, it's essential to facilitate the process for customers to leave reviews. The most effective way to achieve this is by providing a direct link for Facebook reviews. In this post, we'll explore how you can leverage Facebook's review functionality for your business and generate a review link.

What is a Facebook review link?

A Facebook review link is a custom URL that simplifies the process for customers to leave reviews on your Facebook page. This link directs customers straight to the review form on your page, enhancing ease of use and helping you keep track of your reviews.

Creating a Facebook review link isn't as straightforward as generating a Google My Business link . First, ensure you have a Reviews Tab on your business account. If not, access it via the About tab, click on Edit Page Info, scroll down, and add the Reviews tab.

Once you have the Reviews Tab, you're ready to create your Facebook review link.

How to create a Facebook review link

Step 1: create a facebook login url.

Customers must log in to Facebook to post a review for your business. To simplify this process, create a Facebook login URL by adding "/login" to the end of the Facebook homepage URL. The URL should look like this: https://www.facebook.com/login/ .

Step 2: Modify the URL to redirect customers after logging in

After login, ensure customers are directed to your Facebook Business page, not the Facebook News Feed. This eliminates the need for customers to search for your business or re-enter your Facebook URL. To achieve this, add "?next=" to the end of the Facebook login URL created in step 1. The URL should appear as follows: https://www.facebook.com/login/?next= .

Step 3: add your business name to the URL

In the final step, enhance the URL created in step 2 by appending "https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fyourbusiness%2Freviews%2F" to it. However, remember to replace "your business" with your actual business name as it appears on your Facebook page's URL. With this change, the completed URL becomes your Facebook review link, structured like this (with your business name, of course): https://www.facebook.com/login/?next=https://www.facebook.com/yourbusiness/reviews/ .

Embedding Facebook review links on your website

After obtaining your Facebook review link, you can seamlessly integrate it into your website homepage or blog, providing customers with a convenient way to leave reviews without navigating to Facebook. Here's a straightforward process to achieve this:

Step 1: copy and paste the HTML code

Begin by copying the HTML code of your review link. Paste this code into a text editor like Microsoft Word or Notepad.

Step 2: embed the link

Select the text within your webpage or blog where you want to place the link. Then, use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl/Command + K to insert the copied HTML code. Once embedded, customers can effortlessly access the link by clicking the designated text.

How to Create the Perfect Link to Ask for Facebook Reviews & Recommendations

So you want to get more Facebook recommendations , huh? Whether you’re using a review generation tool like Starfish Reviews or sending a message on Facebook messenger, posting on Facebook, or sending out an email to all your clients or subscribers, it’s simple, right? You just send them to the reviews tab like this: https://www.facebook.com/StarfishWP/reviews/ , right?

Facebook’s Review Linking Problem

Not so fast! Unfortunately, Facebook hasn’t made it super simple as Google My Business has . If you send them a link like the example above, users who are logged out of Facebook won’t arrive at the right place! Check out what they’re going to see:

facebook recommendations reviews leave review login

It’s confusing, right? Not only that, using either of those options will not take them back to your reviews page after they log in. Another Facebook failure…. ?‍ Here’s where they will be taken:

  • If they use the normal, top-right login (#1), they’ll just end up on their normal feed, with nothing to do with your page at all!
  • If they use the “Log In” button at the bottom (#2), they’ll be taken to your page, but  not the Reviews section, where you want them to be!

Outsmarting Facebook’s Issues

It turns out that Facebook does have a way to redirect people to wherever you want after login though. That means we can construct a URL that will redirect people to the reviews section of your Facebook page. This link works great for logged-in users and will take logged-out users to the right place as well, no matter which of the above login options they use.

It’s a little complicated, so we created two methods for you. For both methods, you’re going to need to know your page’s “slug,” aka the part of the URL that designates your page. To get your page’s “slug”, go to your page, look in the address bar of your browser and get the part that’s between two forward slashes: / following “facebook.com”.

Constructing the Facebook Recommendations Link

Method 1 – the easy way.

The easy way is to use our Facebook Reviews link generator below. Just input your Facebook page’s “slug” and your email address, and we’ll email you the very best link for your Page’s reviews. NOTE: it’s not the whole Facebook page’s URL. Just the “slug” is the part between the first two slashes (“/”) as shown in the demo animation below.

Facebook Reviews Link Generator

" * " indicates required fields

Copy your Facebook page's slug, like this:

For Example: The Facebook URL for Starfish Reviews is:

https://www.facebook.com/ StarfishWP /reviews/

The Slug would be StarfishWP ; this is what you enter into the form below.

Paste the slug into the field below, then add your email in the other.

Answer this question, then click the "Generate URL!" button.

Brilliant. Thank you.

Eric Gracieta

This is not working anymore

Tevya

Hi Eric! We’ve had a few people report this. But it works every time we try it. You have to ensure you just enter the “slug” of your Facebook page’s URL. So based on the Facebook link in the footer of your website, you’d just put in “brockway.production”. If you do that, it’ll work. I already did it and will have it send you the resulting email. If you don’t see it, try checking your spam/junk. Thanks!

Richard Sui

Works like a charm, however, is there a way that I can get it to open up the Facebook App instead of the mobile browser. Thanks

Hi Richard! The link should open in whatever is the default for Facebook links, on the device where the link is clicked/tapped. So for example, on my Android phone I have the Facebook Lite app. Android previously asked me if I wanted to open Facebook links in Chrome browser or in the Facebook Lite app. I told it the Facebook Lite app, so that’s now the default on my phone. If I tapped your link on my phone that’s where it would open. So this same link should work for any device, but it’s up to the user and the OS to decide if it gets opened in the app or browser. Does that make sense?

Sean Craig

As of Nov 2020 on Android it will open in app. On iOS browser will open and user needs to log into FB in the browser.

Vin M

Hi Tevya! Awesome article. Works like a charm! You really saved me a headache. You will get SuperMan Mega Bonus Points if you happen to know of a way to modify the URL link format you recommended so it also forces “Most Recent” reviews to display first by default rather than the current and only apparent default “Most Helpful.” I’ve looked everywhere but can’t seem to find anything on it in terms of a special parameter or way to manage it in Facebook page settings. For record, its not that the review that shows up in “most helpful” is negative, but rather this issue is its in Spanish and from a vendor in Spain not a customer (which are primarily based in North America). More importantly, with “Most Helpful” as the default it only shows a review or two I think instead of the full list. Whereas, most recent shows them all and chronologically. Thanks again for the article and thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.

Hey Vin! Thanks for the compliments. So glad it’s helpful for your review marketing.

I looked into selecting the Most Recent tab as you’re hoping for. I’m not sure it’s possible. It appears that Facebook controls those through Javascript, as they don’t actually link anywhere in the HTML. So unfortunately, I’m not sure there’s much we can do, unless there’s some way to control the aria-selected state in the URL. But I’m not aware of anything like that.

Turisno_rop

Make the process as easy as possible. Whether you’re emailing customers directly or asking for their reviews with a call-to-action on your website, the most important thing is to make the process super simple for your customer. Provide the link to your Facebook page, and give clear directions on how to leave a review.

Karmen K

Thank you! Just what I needed!

JoAnne

Thank you for this link build. What I’m finding with this link is that the user is taken to the reviews section of my page but there is no button for them to actually review my business. The only way to get them there is to take them to the actual Yes / No boxes option that seems to only appear in the Feed of my business’ home page. And the only way to get them there is to just link them to the business homepage and give them directions to scroll and click yes. This is not as effective as a direct link to that yes button. When I try that – it doesn’t work. What am I missing?

Hi JoAnne, this is a great question! The problem is that you can’t see the Recommendation box when you view your own page’s Reviews tab. You can’t recommend your own business/product/etc so Facebook doesn’t give you the option if you’re an admin on the page. But others will see a box that says “Do you recommend [page name here]?” Followed by a “Yes” and “No” button. If they click either of those, they’ll be prompted for more information to leave their recommendation and review. But this isn’t as visible (have to scroll usually) on the main page as it is on the Reviews tab, where our generator’s link will take people.

GlenH

This is great – Works perfectly and it’s just what I was looking for.

marcus

works great.. is there a way to create a link search Facebook?

Steve

Great resource. Thanks a bunch

Wuhan

Nice , very useful .Thanks a bunch !!

Pedro

Can I make the URL more “friendly” – it’s rather long. Would a ‘tiny url’ or ‘bit url’ also work?

JESSE J

It works on the old Facebook, but not the new one that I updated to a few weeks ago

Matt Galloway

Jesse, Could you explain further what your issue is exactly and we can assist you? You can submit the details here: https://starfish.reviews/contact . Thank you!

Dan

This works and was fantastic! Thanks!

Lucy

worked for me! What a great resource thanks very much for your free information

Todd

Works a treat, I put it through a url shortener as well so now I just copy and paste it into a text

Adrian

This is great! Thanks a lot for this. You made my life that much easier!

Kieran

It’s still working, but not as good) Now, even if you’re logged into Facebook, Facebook will display a message “The page you are trying to visit requires you to re-enter your password.” It’s a bit of a pain, but still the best way I’ve found, thank you for sharing.

Natalia Golenkova

does not work on mobiles. Only on desktops

Christopher Hundley

nice no method 2

Idan

Thanks for the explanation, but it doesn’t work when I share the URL on mobile apps like Whatsapp. It leads to a “page not found”. On desktop it works fine.

Online scams top the list of fraud tracked by the BBB

Social media scams rose 63.8% from 2022-2023.

(InvestigateTV) — According to the Better Business Bureau’s (BBB) annual Scam Tracker Risk Report, online scams made up 70% of fraud reports in 2023.

The report looked at how scams are perpetrated, who’s being targeted and which scams have the greatest impact on consumers.

One of the riskiest types of scams right now are and investment and cryptocurrency.

“(Cryptocurrency) became the number one riskiest scam with an average median loss of $3,800,” Melanie McGovern with the BBB said. “These cryptocurrency scams start out as ‘I’ve got a great investment opportunity’ and all of a sudden you’re recruiting people to come in. So, you want to make sure you know what it is, that is legitimate, before you give anyone any kind of money.”

Employment scams came in at the number two spot with a median loss dollar of nearly $2,000 per victim.

Reports of employment scams also rose 54% from 2022 to 2023.

“It’s interesting to see employment scams is still up at the top. That people are unfortunately still targeting people who may be desperate for a job,” McGovern observed. “Many need that work at home opportunity. And they want to believe that it’s real. So unfortunately, they’re taking advantage of that emotion.”

McGovern also said more than 40% of scams reported to the BBB involved online purchases with over 80% of victims losing money.

And for the second year in a row, young adults between the ages of 18 to 24 reported the highest median dollar loss of all age groups.

“It could be two things. It could be that age group is reporting to us more. Or it could be that again, a lot of younger people aren’t as skeptical when it comes to the internet as much as many older people are, and that they grew up with it. That they’re used to it. Some of the transactions may be just quick online shopping. Passive shopping on social media. Not thinking about it. Not taking that extra step,” McGovern explained. “That’s why it’s so important for everybody to have those conversations with the younger people in your life about ‘hey just cause it’s on your phone doesn’t mean it’s always on the up and up.’ And to do that research. Do those checks to make sure that it is a legitimate website before you put any payment information in.”

McGovern encouraged consumers to reports scams to the BBB .

She said even those who did not lose money should report suspicious activity. It could help prevent others from becoming the next scam victim.

Philadelphia Eagles v Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys 2024 draft class has received a lot of praise before any of its members even step on the field for rookie minicamp this weekend. For this group to reach their full potential, the Cowboys will need to show they’ve finally hit on a later-round offensive tackle, taking another flyer in the seventh round this year with Nathan Thomas out of Louisiana. Thomas represents the fourth tackle taken in the fourth round or later under Mike McCarthy, and so far injuries have held back Josh Ball and Matt Waletzko from providing any insurance along the line. Luckily, the Cowboys youth movement along the offensive line doesn’t just include these former draft picks and a seventh-round rookie, but second-year lineman Asim Richards in prime position to step into a bigger depth role in year two.

Richards will turn 24 a few weeks into the season, with the arrow pointing up for the former North Carolina left tackle and 169th overall pick in the 2023 draft. The converted H.S. basketball player that started as a TE/DE on the football field before moving to tackle as a senior started 37 games at the position in the ACC, while also playing some at guard. The Cowboys love their flexibility with offensive line prospects, with Richards coming from a pro-style offense at UNC being another added benefit. Richards appeared sparingly in five games on offense for the Cowboys as a rookie. His biggest gains in transitioning to the NFL should have come in practice reps and the weight room, as he looks to add the strength and power needed at this level to match an already technically sound and skilled game.

The Cowboys needed immediate replacements for both Tyron Smith and Tyler Biadasz in this year’s draft at left tackle and center, and feel they found these new starters in Tyler Guyton and Cooper Beebe. As a first-round pick, Guyton won’t seriously face much competition for the starting left tackle job, but Beebe will have incumbents Brock Hoffman and T.J. Bass to possibly rotate in at center. All three players - Beebe, Hoffman, and Bass - played guard in college, meaning the Cowboys will have solid depth behind Zack Martin and Tyler Smith as the starting guards no matter who wins the center job. This makes Richards something of an outsider option to play any guard, but the path for him to be the primary swing tackle is clearly ahead of the former fifth-round pick.

Jacksonville Jaguars v Dallas Cowboys

Besides Ball and Waletzko, only Chuma Edoga and Earl Bostick Jr. are competition for Richards to not occupy this important backup role in 2024. Richards is a downhill run blocker that likes to play in space but is light enough on his feet to protect on the edge, all things the Cowboys value greatly at the line of scrimmage and will be looking for in their starting group. Besides how the rookies Guyton and Beebe look in their first live action (which rookie minicamp will hardly count as), the current questions for the Cowboys offensive line are:

  • Is the replacement for RG Zack Martin already on the roster?
  • Is there a tackle they’re comfortable competing with Terence Steele if he struggles at RT?

Although neither position on the right side is Richards’ natural spot, he can still be part of the answer to both of these questions. The Cowboys have kept Josh Ball on the roster only to appear in five games on offense over three years, all coming in 2022. They’ve kept Matt Waletzko to play one snap of offense as a rookie and seven in the regular season finale in 2023. This is a team willing to work with and develop their offensive line talent, but like any position, the players have to be available to get better. Availability is especially important up front, as the Cowboys weren’t afraid to triple down at the position in this year’s draft going into Mike McCarthy’s contract year. Dallas is looking for the benefit of McCarthy’s offense taking a step forward in year two behind a revamped offensive line, as well as playing the long game trying to have this all-important unit established for any bigger changes that come to the staff/scheme/skill positions, or quarterback in 2025.

If he can continue his development and put on a strong preseason performance, Asim Richards is in great position to remain part of any and all plans for the Cowboys offensive line throughout his rookie contract. It will be very interesting to see the types of reps he gets at training camp with either the starters or second team, and with those opportunities how he fares against the likes of premier pass rushers Micah Parsons and DeMarcus Lawrence, down to Sam Williams or 2024 rookie Marshawn Kneeland.

Do You Need a Hub or a Docking Station?

USB hubs are small, portable devices you can plug directly into a port on your laptop to get extra USB ports, SD card readers, headphone jacks, and other extra connections. However, if you plan on regularly connecting your laptop to a full-blown workstation—with a keyboard, mouse, monitors, the whole shebang—then you might want to consider a docking station instead.

USB docking stations are larger, more expensive, and are designed to spend most of their time on your desk. They typically have a power supply to charge other devices and offer multiple monitor outputs, plus Ethernet connections. If you frequently use your laptop at a desk, we'll have a new guide soon on the best docking stations, so stay tuned.

Best Overall

Satechi makes some of the nicest accessories I've held, and this hub is no exception. It's built from the same aluminum as the rest of Satechi's gear with a short, braided cable leading to a USB-C connector. It's designed to feel at home next to a Macbook Pro or Surface Laptop and nails that vibe.

This hub has several USB-C ports and conveniently labels them by their maximum speed. In my testing, I consistently got speeds of 850 to 900 megabytes per second on its fastest USB-C ports, and there's a fourth that can reach over 400 MB/s. Even if you're like me and regularly need to transfer hundreds of gigabytes of 6K footage, it can handle those hefty tasks in minutes. It also has an HDMI port that supports up to 8K video at 30 frames per second (fps), though this is overkill. The real benefit of this capable port is that it's capable of 4K video at up to 120 fps or 1080p at up to a whopping 240 fps. I test gaming laptops , and this is one of the few hubs that can keep up with the frame-rate demands for powerful games when I connect them to an external monitor .

The downside is that it lacks USB-A ports. It's quite future-facing in that way, and there are enough USB-C accessories and peripherals these days that it might not be an issue, but we have more options below if the older USB-A port is a must-have.

Connects via USB-C. Ports include:

  • 3 USB-C (10 Gbps)
  • 1 USB-C (5 Gbps)
  • 1 USB-C PD (85-watt pass-through charging)
  • 1 HDMI (8K at 30 Hz or 4K at 120 Hz)
  • 1 Ethernet (1 Gigabit)
  • 1 SD Card slot (UHS-II)

Best Budget Hub

If all you need is a couple of extra USB ports, specifically USB-A, this Monoprice 5-in-1 model does the trick for a super low price. It connects via USB-C and adds three USB-A ports to your machine, each of which reached about 400 MB/s in my testing. That was more than enough for most typical work tasks, and even worked for moving around video files. You can use the USB-C port on the end to pass-through charge your laptop—the hub supports up to 100 watts, which is plenty to keep the most power-hungry laptops charged (with the right wall adapter).

It's one of the cheapest hubs I've tested, and if you're traveling with it, you might want to keep it in a padded pocket. The plastic case feels smooth and lightweight in a way that borders on flimsy.

  • 3 USB-A 3.0 (5 Gbps)
  • 1 USB-C PD (100-watt pass-through charging)
  • 1 HDMI (4K at 30 Hz)

An Inexpensive Media Transfer Hub

This Anker USB hub is the one I carry in my camera bag everywhere. It plugs into the USB-C port on your laptop and provides every connection you'd need to offload photos or videos from camera gear.

In my testing, the USB 3.0 ports reached transfer speeds over 400 MB/s, which isn't quite as fast as some USB hubs on this list, but it's solid for a sub-$50 device. Similarly, the SD card reader reached speeds of 80 MB/s for reading and writing, which isn't the fastest SD cards can get , but adequate for moving files back and forth.

  • 2 USB-A (5 Gbps)
  • 1 SD card slot
  • 1 microSD card slot

Best Hub If You Need External Storage

Wouldn’t it be nice if the USB hub you carry around had some storage of its own? This one from Satechi can (sort of) do that with its M.2 solid state drive enclosure. Open the panel on the back and you can slot in an internal SSD card and access it whenever you plug the hub into your computer. It's incredibly handy and I wish more USB hubs and docks had it. Just know that the M.2 SATA SSD is not included. One-terabyte drives like this one from Western Digital or this one from Samsung will do the job.

The SSD can reach up to 5 Gbps, but the USB-A 3.1 ports are even faster. In my testing, they reached speeds of 880 MB/s (or roughly 7Gbps). Put it all together and you could plug in several storage options and move all your data around incredibly fast. To top it all off, it has the same aluminum chassis as Satechi's other accessories, giving it a premium feel.

  • 2 USB-A (10 Gbps)
  • 1 HDMI (4K at 60 Hz)
  • 1 M.2 SSD enclosure (5 Gbps)

Best Docking Station Hybrid

Most laptop docking stations are bulky gadgets that often require a power source, but this one from Ugreen straddles the line between dock and hub. It has a small, braided cable running to a relatively large aluminum block. It's a bit hefty but still compact, and it packs a lot of extra power. It has three USB ports (one USB-C and two USB-A) that each reached up to 900 MB/s of data-transfer speeds in my testing. That was enough to move large amounts of 4K video footage in minutes.

The hub also has enough ports to connect to a full, multimonitor desktop setup, not to mention other peripherals like a keyboard and mouse, even some headphones. It's the best option before upgrading to a full docking station.

  • 1 USB-A (5 Gbps)
  • 1 USB-C (10 Gbps)
  • 2 HDMI (One 8K at 30 Hz or two 4K at 60 Hz)
  • 1 Ethernet (Gigabit)
  • 1 SD/TF card reader
  • 1 3.5mm audio out

All Those Confusing USB Terms, Explained

The goal of USB was to make one port that could do it all. The reality is … a lot more complicated than that. There are various generations of USB, with different capabilities and speeds, plus ports that look similar but do other things. There are a few key terms you should know when shopping for a USB hub:

  • USB 2.X/USB 3.X/USB 4: Every USB device is built to some version of the USB specification, mainly characterized by how much data they can transfer and how much power they can deliver (or at least, those are the main things you need to care about). While most of these devices are inter-operable as long as they use the same port, the entire chain will conform to the slowest part of the chain. Say you plug a USB 3.2 SSD into a USB 3.2 port on your computer, but use a USB 3.0 cable —data will only transfer at USB 3.0 speeds. Make sure every link in your chain is rated for the speed you need.
  • USB Power Delivery (or USB-PD): If your laptop, tablet, or other device doesn't have enough USB ports, you might be forced to choose between charging or plugging in accessories. USB-PD ports let you bridge this gap by plugging a charger into the hub to supply power to the laptop (and anything else connected to the hub that needs it. You'll see this referred to as “pass-through charging" though it's not an official specification. You'll want to make sure the wattage this USB-C port supports can handle what your laptop needs. A MacBook Pro typically needs 96 watts during intense workloads (though you can still charge them at lower wattage), so you'd need a 100-watt USB-C port on the hub.
  • USB-C and USB-A: These terms refer to the physical shape of the connectors and ports on devices. USB-C is common and looks like a small, elongated oval. It's also reversible, so you can't plug it in the wrong way. USB-A is the older, rectangular port you've seen for years. There are a lot more types of USB connectors , but these are the two you're most likely to see in most hubs.

4 different cords of varying end types

What Is Going On With These USB Generations?

It would be nice if you could plug a USB 3.2 device into a USB 3.2 port using a USB 3.2 cable and trust that it all works. Unfortunately, it's way more complicated than that.

When USB 3.0 came out in 2008 it had a max speed of around 5 Gbps. However, when USB 3.1 came out in 2013 with a max speed of 10 Gbps, the 5-Gbps version was renamed to USB 3.1 Gen 1, while the new, faster spec was USB 3.1 Gen 2 . Confused yet? Well, it gets worse. When USB 3.2 came out in 2019, the 5-Gbps USB was rebranded again to “USB 3.2 Gen 1,” the 10-Gbps version became “USB 3.2 Gen 2,” and the new 20-Gbps spec became—you guessed it—USB 3.2 Gen 2x2. … Wait, what? The “2x2” refers to running two 10 Gbps lanes of data simultaneously and … you don't need to know all of this. Many hub manufacturers have given up on names, labels, and symbols. They've just started printing the maximum speed next to ports directly.

What this means for you is that if you're using older storage devices or accessories, you may want to look up the specific generation of USB if speed matters to you. A device marketed as “USB 3.0” several years ago, and a device marketed as “USB 3.2” today could potentially have identical transfer speeds if the manufacturer is less than forthcoming with generation names or transfer speed ratings.

OK, So What's Thunderbolt?

Thunderbolt is an Intel-owned standard made in collaboration with Apple that uses the same USB-C connector as typical USB devices. However, there are certain extra requirements that have to be met before a device can earn the Thunderbolt label.

  • Higher transfer speeds. Thunderbolt ports are designed to transfer massive amounts of data compared to the USB-C ports they often sit beside. Thunderbolt 3 and 4, for example, reach speeds up to 40 Gbps while the new Thunderbolt 5 reaches a ludicrous 80 Gbps (or up to 120 Gbps when used for unidirectional connections like outputs to displays).
  • Display output support. Thunderbolt ports are designed to make it easier to connect external displays. Most Thunderbolt ports can at least support up to one 4K display, with more modern versions like Thunderbolt 4 supporting multiple 4K displays. Thunderbolt 5 is set to expand this even further with support for multiple 8K displays, or several 4K displays at super high refresh rates .
  • Compatibility with USB: While Thunderbolt is its own specification, it's still cross-compatible with USB ports. However, any connections will default to the slowest link in the chain. The good news is, as long as your device has a USB-C connection, you can plug it into a Thunderbolt port and it will work fine. Just, maybe a little slower.

Make Sure Your Cables Are Up to Spec Too

Getting a hub that's capable of massive data transfer speeds won't matter much if any cables you use aren't capable of those same speeds. This is an easy thing to overlook because most cables don't have labels that tell you what speeds they support. Fortunately, there are a few things you can do to ensure you're using the right cable:

  • Use the cable that came with your device. The simplest way to ensure that a cable is capable of getting the speeds you need is to use the one that comes with any device you have. For example, if you have an external SSD, there's a good chance that the USB cable that came with it will support the fastest speed the SSD can.
  • Check the box or listing for specs. Some manufacturers will list the version (and generation) of the USB cable on the box or online listing where you got the cable, or the device it came with. Some manufacturers will only list the type of USB connector or only mention the version (like “USB 3.2”) without mentioning the generation (like “Gen 2x2”) making it difficult to deduce the actual speed.
  • Look for speeds, rather than the USB version. Since USB specs can be confusing, many manufacturers have resorted to listing speeds directly. Many cables, including those in our Best USB-C Cables guide will list their maximum speeds directly, skipping all the confusing jargon.

Betterment has a drastically lower account minimum, only requiring $10 to start investing, compared to Wells Fargo's $500 minimum. Betterment also offers crypto trading. However, cryptocurrencies and access to CFPs  are only available under the premium plan, which requires a minimum balance of $100,000.

If unlimited access to human financial planners is important, Wells Fargo Intuitive Investors is a better, more affordable option.

Wells Fargo Intuitive Investors vs. Vanguard Personal Advisor

Like Wells Fargo Intuitive Investors, Vanguard Personal Advisor is a hybrid robo-advisor and professional management account. It has a high Vanguard Personal Advisor minimum balance requirement. Both platforms offer the convenience of a robo-advisor with the benefit of personalized guidance from a human advisor.

Intuitive Investors is the overall better option for beginners as its streamlined investing options and low minimum balance requirement make it more readily available for those just starting out. Although it doesn't as many trading tools as Vanguard, automated investing with Wells Fargo Intuitive Investor still gets you access to valuable features like tax-loss harvesting and dividend reinvesting.

Vanguard Personal Advisor is better for retirement-focused investors with larger balances. The higher your account balance with Vanguard, the lower the fees. Plus, the most beneficial features and resources available through a Personal Advisor account is centered on retirement.

Keke Palmer Felt Like the Belle of the Ball at the Met Gala 2024

For Keke Palmer, the “Sleeping Beauty: Reawakening Fashion” theme of the Met Gala 2024 was easy to interpret because there are parallels to her own life. “I am having my own reawakening and becoming a woman in my own right. I do feel like it’s funny how art imitates life in this way,” Palmer told Vanity Fair before hitting the steps of The Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday.

At the Met Gala 2024, Palmer looked radiant in a custom Marc Jacobs gown (“It’s giving goddess, look at me, look at me, but don’t get blinded because I’m shining so brightly!”) made of gold frayed sheer silk and tulle and delicately covered with antique beaded embroidery. “With the theme ’Sleeping Beauty: Reawakening Fashion,’ meshed with what’s actually happening in my life as a new mom and stepping into the year being 30, I do think both of those things in my life and what I’m trying to express, and what Marc is trying to express within the art, all align. And I hope that that’s also why he chose me to even be a part of what he’s doing this year with The Met,” Palmer said.

It was the perfect alignment indeed, as Jacobs said he’s “long been a fan of Keke.”

“[I] was thrilled when she accepted our invitation to the Met Gala. The exhibit, ‘Sleeping Beauties,’ is going to showcase some of the museum’s most rarely seen items that are no longer suitable to be worn. This idea of fragility was really where we started with Keke’s look,” Jacobs said.

While the actor has attended the Met Gala several times in the past, last year, when she attended with designer Sergio Hudson shortly after the birth of her son, Leo, she realized how fashion could rejuvenate her. “It reignited in me something that I think I really needed, which was just leaning into the fun that we can have with beauty. I think there’s so much seriousness around it. For me, after I became a mom, with years of just being so dolled up, it had a new meaning to me where it was kind of like I found a strength and power in putting on my best looks and putting my best foot forward,” she said. “Especially when it comes to an opportunity. And so, I look forward to that for tonight.”

As Palmer embraces this new era of her life, she’s leaned into the playful nature of style as a means to relieve stress, and so, working in collaboration with her longtime stylist, Seth Chernoff, Palmer becomes “a character” with every new look. “Whether it’s on Password, or whether it’s something that I’m doing on the carpet, or even if we’re preparing to look for a new character that I’m developing. There’s always the confidence, but there‘s a certain key to who I’m going to be tonight, what I’m going to get, how I’m going to serve, what the attitude is. Clothes have always made me come alive in that way. And I think it’s a big part of me too as an actress. I’m always talking when I work with the director on what’s the look, what does her hair look like, what does her outfit look like? Because all of that really brings that person to life,” Palmer said.

And as for the character that inspired Palmer at the Met Gala 2024? “When I wear this dress, I feel like I’m the belle of the fucking ball,” she said.
