On 5th September, 2020 (Saturday), the RCV Engineering College organised Teachers’ Day celebrations. The function took place in the auditorium of the college. Teacher’s day celebrated on 5th September each year on the occasion of birth of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan who was known as an amazing teacher of his time. Small function was organized in our school on this occasion for our beloved teachers. Teachers day function started at 7:00 a.m. morning . The function started when a small speech was given by the school captain, where she explained the importance of teachers and how teachers are the builders of nation. The function started with lightning of a candle in front of Maa Saraswati’s idol who is known as symbol of knowledge and peace. Exactly 9:00 a.m. the first performance of class 6th students started. As every year’s ritual of students playing as their favorite teacher’s for a day I played SujataKardilemaa’am and we all distributed flower bouquets to all the teachers. Our principal and all the teachers appreciated everybody is performance. The last performance was a group song by class 12th boys, as it was their last year they give their best performance for the beloved teachers. Teachers have always been so patient and advising, that is why we should always be thankful to them for their precious time. My favorite teacher is Sujatakardile ma’am, as she was my first English teacher and she was strict as well as very knowledgeable. I respect each and every teacher and hope that every student will value their presence. We all have the biggest teacher in our lives as our mothers and so we should love our parents and express it at times also. I request everybody to celebrate teachers and parents and learn as much as possible from them.
